This is a standalone story written expressly for the LeapBack 20th Anniversary convention competition. It came Third! In this story, Sam finds himself trapped in an elevator, and absorbing his host's claustrophobia!

It's been a while since Al got back from Vietnam, things have changed and he's all grown up with four kids! So why is he remembering a man he's never met? And what will happen when he get's to New Mexico and PQL? What will become of Sam and Al?

When Sam leaps into a young lighthouse keeper, he learns that the gathering storm on the horizon has more to do with his drunken co-worker than the weather. Unlike the story arc {3/5} also featured here, this story is post Mirror Image.
