I may or may not do the entire anime, but whenever there's something new, I'll post it. This is chapter 2! Minna no Kokoro: UNLOCK! Let the games begin!

When I reached home, I was greeted by Amu. "Dia, you're home early." She then stopped. "What's wrong?" I asked. "T… The Humpty Lock!" she said. I looked at the lock in my hand. "You mean this?" "Dia, let me tell you a story." she said. I sat down on the table. "Once upon a time, in another world, I was a girl just like you. Cool on the outside, but shy on the inside. Then, I received three eggs". "You too?" Amu nodded. "And I received a fourth one soon after." she said. "I don't know what happened, but something strange happened and everything got muddled around, and nobody but me and my friends remembered." Amu continued, "And as for those four eggs, they became you and your sisters." I looked at her. "I was a Guardian Character?" I said. "All the guardian characters became human." Amu said. "Do you know who the Guardians are?" she asked. I nodded. "I was one too in the before time. My friends were also guardians." Amu said, "Say, who are the new guardians?" "Oh," I said, trying to remember them from the top of my head, "Primus I, Yvonne Υpsilon, Xavier Χi, and Zero Amakawa" "They sound like an interesting bunch." said Amu, "Can I see your Shugo Chara?" Diamond came out. "Hello, I'm also named Dia." said Dia. She smiled, "This is going to be confusing"

The next day, I was in class. These seven kids went up to me. "Hey, what's up" said the brunette. I looked at them. "My name is Frisk!" said the brunette. "And this is Sapphire, Amber, Azure, Citrine, Jasmine and Robin" She pointed to a cyan-haired girl with a red ribbon, an orange-haired boy with a ponytail and a bandana, a blue haired girl, a purple-haired glasses boy whose hair parted to the side, a green-haired girl, and a yellow-haired boy wearing a cowboy hat. "I'm Candy. Call me Dia" I replied. "Nice to meet you, Dia." said Azure. "I hope we can be friends." said Jasmine. "Say, you confessed to Xavier yesterday, huh?" said Citrine. I nodded. "Most people would go for Primus. I can't believe you just did that" said Sapphire. "It… It was nothing…" "So, let's be friends!" said Amber. "Okay!" Just then, this green-haired girl walked in. "Oh my gosh! It's Yvonne!" cried Frisk. "How do you know that if your eyes are closed" I said. "I sense my surroundings." Frisk replied. But, yes. She's right. I recognized her as the Queen's Chair. She gave me a letter. "You are invited to the Royal Garden after school" she said, "See you there!" She walked off. I looked at the letter. "How cool!" said Sapphire.

I was never good at sports. That is something Ran is good at. But today was simple. I just have to pull myself up on the bar and spin around. I noticed a blonde wearing a tiara trying to do the bars. I walked up to her. "Are you struggling to do it?" I said. "No, no! I'm fine!" she said, "Just watch" She's a cute fellow. Dia came up to me. "Maybe I can help you with this" said she said. I Character Changed, grabbed the bars, and looped around. And then I fell flat on my face. "Oops, I must have slipped" Diamond simply said. "Carreau-san, are you alright?" the teacher said. "I'm fine." I simply said, hiding how much pain I'm in, "Now, I have to go to the restroom" I walked off. Now, I was in the restroom, just not for the usual business. I was so mad at Diamond that I almost flushed her down the toilet. "Stop! Stop!" I looked at her. "I was only trying to help" she said. "My face hurts!" "I know, I know." Diamond pleaded, "But please. If you don't believe in us, we'll disappear" I looked at her. "You'll disappear?" She nodded. I smiled. "I'm sorry, Diamond. I hope we can make up for this" I said. Diamond smiled. "I accept your apology." And then I remembered that I have to meet up with the Guardians this afternoon. "Ah! I'm gonna be late!" I cried. I told Diamond to follow me

I entered the Royal Garden. It was full of so many beautiful fountains and flowers! I saw the Guardians there. Wait, all of them have Guardian Characters too. "More Guardian Characters?" I questioned. "Well, yeah" said Zero. "So, let's introduce ourselves." said Primus, "King's Chair, Primus I. This is my Guardian Character One" One was wearing a blue kimono and a single bracelet on their right arm. "Queen's Chair, Yvonne Υpsilon." Yvonne added, "This is Y" Y was wearing a light green sundress and Y shaped wings. She was sleeping on Yvonne's arm. "Jack's Chair, Xavier Χi." said Xavier, "And this is my Guardian Character, X!" I think I already described what X looked like. "Ace. Zero. They're also Zero" Zero said. Zero was wearing a black mask, and a grey dress, and her eyes looked blank. "Oh, I'm-" "Candy Carreau. Known to friends as Diamond, right?" said Zero. I nodded. "My Guardian Character is also Diamond." I added. "You live with your stepsisters, right?" said Primus. I nodded. "So, wanna join the Guardians?" said X. Huh? How could I refuse? But a part of me doesn't want to join. This must be what Amu felt when she joined the Guardians! "I… I'm sorry, but I don't want to join" I said. I left the building.

As I was walking, I noticed that tiara girl again. She noticed me. "D… Dia!" she cried. I waved at her. "I'm so… sorry. I bet I'm not up to your standards" she said. "No! No! I really don't!" I said. "You're lying!" said the girl, "Acting so high with the privilege of being a popstar!" "I'm not a-" "Shut up! I'm worthless! My dreams are impossible." Just then, a black egg with a white cross on it appeared. "What the?" "Dia! That's an X-Egg!" said Xavier. I looked back at the Guardians. "An X-Egg?" "The corrupted forms of a person's dreams" added Yvonne. I looked back at the egg. Something deep inside of me resonated. I knew what I had to do. "Watashi no Kokoro: UNLOCK!" I Character Transformed again. "Character Transform: Amulet Diamond!" I heard the girl's voice. "I just want to make people smile! But I can't!" I tried to talk to the girl. "Look, I know you aren't good at sports, but that doesn't mean you aren't good!" I said. "What?" "You just want to make people smile, right?" I said, "Is there anything else that you're good at?" Cecil looked at me. "I'm good at singing" she said. I nodded. The Humpty Lock shined. I saw a memory of Amu purifying X-Eggs. I knew what I had to do. "Negative Heart: LOCK ON! OPEN HEART!" And the X-Egg was purified. I detransformed. The girl woke up. "You know, I'm not good at most stuff either" I said, "What's your name, my friend?" The girl looked at me. "Kiran. Kiran Kirameku." I smiled. "I know you'll do great" She nodded. "Alright, I'll try and be a popstar just like you, Dia!" "I'm not a…" I smiled. Kiran ran off.
