Taking a deep breath, Oliver knocked on the door, he waited a few minutes before the door swung open revealing Roy Harper with a Baby on his hip. Wait was he seeing things right! That was a baby! A real baby! A look of shock crosses his face as Roy's eyes widen at the sight of Oliver in front of him. The two stared at each other neither saying anything until Thea's voice calls from inside.

"Roy! Who's at the door!"

Oliver lifted his eyebrow with a smile easing it's way onto his lips. Roy's quiet curse had the mayors smile turning into a full blown smirk. "Your brother!" Oliver said loudly, this had Thea running towards the door. Her face held surprise, shock and a bit of fear which shocked Oliver even more. What was she afraid of? He let himself in when Roy moved away from the door.

"you've been MIA all day!"

Thea gasped. She knew Ollie would worry but she was trying to take care of Rose.

"Ollie I'm so sorry!" she moved away taking Rose from Roy which had Oliver pointing at the kid with a questioning look on his face. "Who's the baby" he asked. Thea and Roy stared at him before looking at each other then towards the baby. Okay, now Oliver was worried even more. This was getting weird. Oliver had come over to check on them and arrived to this, Roy holding a newborn and Thea looking as if someone kicked her puppy.

"Ollie, this is Rose. Rose Wilson" Oliver's eye's widened Crossing his arms over his chest. Slade had told him about Rose when the woman was still pregnant. How did Thea have Slade's new baby and why.

He took a deep breath before looking at the two of them. He went to speak only to freeze seeing Sara walking towards them with a bottle. Sara was in on this! "oh Hey Ollie!" Oliver gave her his best 'slade Wilson ' glare and huffed out. "hey Sara, where have you been?. Here?" he asked, concern and worry entering his tone.

Sara nodded.

Again, Oliver huffed. " and somehow you have Slade's newborn daughter"

That was the question, how and why did they have Slade's kid and where was Slade.

"Ollie, I was given Rose by Adeline." Thea made sure to keep her tone light and explain every detail, which wasn't much that Adeline gave her. She told him that Adeline had been looking for him originally but found Thea instead. Oliver leaned against the wall, listening to every word. The details were few. All Adeline said was a few words and disappeared. That doesn't explain where Slade was. That's when Thea dropped the bomb that the last attempt on Rose cost Slade his life. His mentor, one time enemy and Brother was dead.

Oliver had mixed emotions at this news, first being shock then denial as he quickly tried telling Thea she was lying. Thea just smiled sadly at him and shook her head. The supportive way she was looking at him helped the truth seep in. "Ollie, I'm so sorry" she whispered the words. Only for him to hear. It was a nice gesture then his grief stricken face turned hard with resolve.

"What do we know"

Thea, Sara and Roy all smiled knowing full well Oliver was on their team.

It took a week before Oliver finally got angry, They were in the bunker. Thea was gone with Rose, not yet ready to tell the team about the youngest Wilson. Sara had just gotten back from talking to her father and found Oliver punching the punching bag, unrelenting, getting his anger out. Sara sighed lightly moving to approach him. She stopped in front of Felicity and the bars separating the training mats. Asking Felicity how long he's been at it.

"he's been like that for hours" Felicity said before walking off. This causes Sara to roll her eyes at the Blonde annoyed.

"Ollie!"

He didn't even acknowledge that he heard her. Sara slowly approached him, taking small steps towards the vigilante and standing next to him. They stood in silence for a few minutes, Oliver finally stopped the bag and took deep breaths. Sara kind of know what he was upset about and hoped she could help him through it.

"I told him if he needed me to just call!" Sara had to stifle a laugh at Oliver's statement. The last time Slade called was to get Joe out of prison and that turned out going sideways on both ends. William was put in danger and Slade nearly lost his life to his own son. Because Sara may not have liked Slade but she knew from Ollie's story's of Joe. Slade Wilson would have held back. She also knew that wasn't why Slade never called though.

No.

It was the guilt. The mirakuru turned Slade into the kind of person he himself hated.

So, no he didn't call Ollie because of William or Ollie's family could be put in danger without Oliver there but because Slade killed Oliver's mother and the guilt had been eating the man alive. Slade Wilson was a shell of the man that they both had known. The guilt of the island then star City. Sara could see just by looking at the man she could tell, he hated himself. Granted the mirakuru warped his mind and changed him in ways that no one could recognize.

But Wilson's mind set was he still did those things, he became a monster.

"Ollie, did you really expect him to?"

That got her a dirty look from Oliver she laughed lightly. Of course he actually expected him.

"Ollie he killed your mother in front of you. His siege caused lots of deaths." She said, hoping he would see what she was saying but of course this was Oliver Queen. At her words, Oliver's head shot up his face void of any emotion while he silently seethed at her words. "that was the Mir-" she stopped him mid sentence and glared. "Yes, but he still put a sword through your mother!." Sara said not giving him room to talk. So she continues.

"killing his brothers mother. Ollie, he could barely look at you or Thea without a guilt"

Sara tried to convey what she thought Slade was thinking at the time. It doesn't help that Ollie didn't want to listen and wanted to be mad cause Slade hadn't Called for help.

This was Slade Wilson for crying out loud! The man was a loner. Ollie told her plenty of stories about Slade and about the reason he was so untrusting with people. Billy wintergreen had been his best friend and partner, the god father of Joe and even with all that he betrayed him and his country for a higher paycheck. Slade ended up killing Billy for his betrayal of Australia and him saving Ollie in the process.

Sara froze at that thought. Wait! Did Billy have family….okay, Sara think about that later deal with Ollie right now.

Arrow Bunker , later that night.

"where's Oliver" John Diggle asked walking out of the elevator from the mayor's office.

Felicity turned from her computer and shrugged muttering something about a family emergency. Rene narrowed his eyes at the blonde's words but said nothing as he continues to use the bag with Dinah. John glanced at Dinah and Rene before turning back to Felicity. "family emergency?" crossing his arms over his chest.

"And he didn't call you or me?" Diggle commented, confusion in his tone. Confused because Oliver has so far always told him problems and now he's not. It was weird and making him worry hopefully for no reason but still. Though now knowing Sara was back helped ease his worries a little bit. So, Dig headed towards Rene and Dinah on the training mats, dropping his things and then heading out the back way of the bunker.

He wanted to find out what Oliver's family emergency was and fix it.

Getting to Thea's condo a couple minutes after leaving the bunker, Diggle walked up the steps to the porch and knocked. Waiting only a few more minutes before the door opened. Dig smiled softly at William and waved. "hey kid". William smiled back before turning towards the inside and yelling. " Dad it's Dig!"

Soon Oliver was walking towards him with a baby on his hip. A baby. So that was the family emergency. A baby. Okay that wasn't to bad. Dig was then gestured inside and William was quick to shut the door.

"Felicity said you had a family emergency"

Oliver sighed, handing The baby to Sara. The legend started cooking and telling the tiny thing to say auntie Sara. Chuckling, dig turned towards Oliver. He was tense, arms crossed and giving dig his Green Arrow stare. Okay something was definitely up. Moving to lean against the doorframe, dig Waited for Oliver to speak.

"So."

"So" Oliver repeated.

Dig felt a frown fall on to his face as Thea ran into the room followed shortly by Roy. The two barely gave him a glance as they grabbed tools and ran off towards the guest room. That was weird. "what's with the baby?" Oliver's head shot up and again sighed. Dig could tell it wasn't something he wanted to trust him with. That hurt. That really hurt. But. Dig was going to have patience.

Oliver started explaining and Dig had to blink at the information overload. First, Slade was dead. That was unbelievable. That man was trained. Sara had said that Slade was a trained killer before the mirakuru, of course she didn't go into detail on how trained or if he fought for any agency. Both her and Oliver acted mute whenever he brought it up. Second, the man was killed defending his new baby girl. That Dig could nod his head at, being a father himself. Third, Adeline, Slade's wife or ex wife gave Thea baby Rose to protect and care for while they looked for Slade's killer and who ever is looking to kill a innocent baby girl.

Okay, he could process this. He really didn't like Slade but this wasn't about Wilson. This was about an innocent child and he'd be a monster to not help Oliver protect her. So, taking a deep breath dig said "okay, I'm in what do I do?"

"Help me get security up" with that Oliver lead the way out of the room and Down the hall.

William shook his head before running off to finish his game laughing at His Aunt Thea's yelling "Roy that's not how you build a crib! Safety measures!"

Albany, Australia

"Mother!"

Grant Wilson ran after his mother, they had just left his father's old office and grant had a million questions. His baby sister was in danger and she just gave her away to someone that hated his father. To say, grant was confused and a little bit angry was an understatement. "mom!" he yelled only to be ignored as Adeline left the house. Grant followed after her getting in the car.

"Rose is safe with Thea" a scuff escaped his mouth, crossing his arms angrily.

Adeline ignored him and continued. "No one will suspect us giving Rose to someone Slade tried to kill" Adeline said turning into the Australian Intelligence building. Sighing lightly, grant sat back as the car came to a stop. Asking about Joe. That gave his mother pause. Joe was a wild card right now. After the A.S.I.S massacre and Slade's disappearance in 2012, then the siege of starling City in 2014. A.S.I.S were able to keep his identity classified but Joe had followed Deathstrokes path. The sad part was it was due to seeing Slade kill while on a cover trip with Joe to find out where Yao fei was held in 2006.

His brother was lost right now, so he wouldn't be any help. But giving her to Thea Queen, grant just didn't understand.

"our contact.." grants head turned towards his mother's voice, hearing the tremble. Frowning lightly. Adeline continued informing grant of everything the man they talked to set up in defense of Rose. Shaking his head, grant glared. " but who is this guy! Why do you trust him with my baby sister!" grant finally exploded.

Adeline sighed, stopping the car and turning towards grant with a look.

"his identity is classified. He can't be known just know he's helping us"

She then opened the car door and slipped out, shutting the door with a loud thud. Slipping out of the car and slamming the door shut grant followed his mother into the A.S.I.S headquarters. Following Adeline inside, grant headed towards the gym. He needed to let out some steam.

Across town, Adeline's contact sat in his chair covered in darkness. Leaning in his chair as he stares down at his company and smirks. A file is tossed onto the table and the man picks it up.

"Sara Lance was seen at Miss Queen's home helping bring in baby supplies along with a young man. Unknown." Another file was thrown on to the table. "Oliver queen arrived a day later and just tonight John Diggle was seen entering the house." Said the informant. The man smirked lightly unseen due to the shadows covering his face. " so, he's slowly bringing in the team?" the man asked.

"Doesn't seem so, Diggle was a surprise. It seems miss Queen calls the shots on who sees Rose Wilson"

"Miss Queen" the man said almost fondly. " I always knew she had a fire in her."

His informant breathed a sigh of relief before continuing with his review. After he was finished the man bid him a good night before telling the informant to leave and keep him updated on Thea Queen and Rose Wilson. Leaning back in his seat, the man smiled softly. Soon everything would be set and he could get to work on finding Billy wintergreen's brother. As long as Rose is safe.

For now he had to remain in the shadows, so his enemies thought he was dead They would drop their guard and then he would strike. It could take months, maybe a year but he would do it. A chuckle left his mouth leaning further into the chair moving his arms behind his head with a laugh. Yes, he just had to be patient.
