After a conversation with his new friends, in his new home, Jonas's old life helps him make a decision in his new one.

Instead of Jonas transferring his memories to Gabel, he transfers them to Fiona. Jonas slowly forgets everything he knows about memories. Fiona has to face the facts and dangers of being the new receiver of memory.

Jonas is gone. The memories slowly come as flashbacks to the Community's citizens when the memories can tie in to their lives. Asher can't stand it, feeling that he causes emotional pain to the children when he plays with them. Lily is going to...(SPOILER!), so the two can only do one thing-escape.

The Giver Coffee house AU- When lost artist Jonas wanders into a coffee shop, he meets a kindly, old barista who is simply known as "The Giver." What can this strange man teach Jonas about the world and all of its beauty? Or is it too late to save Jonas' soul?

What was life like when the Giver was a young boy, new to the strange beginnings of the community? The story begins with the Giver arriving to the new community as they begin to administer the serum for color sameness.
