I Screamed Reality is a poem based on "The Giver" by Lois Lowry. It is about how people don't see the truth, and don't want to see the truth-even if its right before them. The message her is political correctness vs. moral conviction.

My version of Chapter 24 of The Giver. I wrote this for a school project and it puts a sort of twist on Sameness. It might be a little different than what you'd normally expect.

This is a story about what I think would happen, had Lois Lowry continued The Giver. It changes setting from Jonas's new home back to his old community. Please comment, this is my first ever fanfic story.

Jonas and Gabe visit present day New York City, the community riots, Elsewhere is a plastic city... And since when did Lily know where the self- destruct button was? English project from 7th grade. (I was 12. Yikes)

The Giver: Alternate Ending

This is basically an epilogue to 'The Giver'. Will Jonas be able to find happiness in the new community? Or even... love?

An Eleven, Elliana, is elated when the Twelve she loves, Logan, receives the Assignment of his dreams. But she begins to worry when he starts pulling away from her...Takes place when all the changes in the community are happening.

Amani is a girl who lives in a farm, miles from the woods which seperates the Community from Elsewhere. When a fire kills her parents and destroyes her home, forcing her to wander alone to seek help, and stumble on Jonas and Gabe along the way...

This is an English assignment that I had to do that compares The Giver to utopia. My first EVER fanfiction.

This is just a short chapter to explain what might have happened at the end of the book :

Before leaving the commumity, Jonas wrote a letter to Lily. When she wakes up, she finds it, and she starts reading it. What Jonas writes surprizes Lily, and makes her feel something she can't explain. Drabble R&R please.

The last thing we hear from Jonas is that he hears music...maybe it's the chance to a new life for him and Gabriel... just a sweet little ending my daughter wrote...thought I'd share...

Jonas has escaped the Community. He wasn't the first, and he won't be the last. Who were they, why did they leave, and what did they find?

I read The Giver and it got me thinking about utopias. They don't exist in my opinion because we are all human and no one is perfect but we can try and this is what this poem is about. Also i didn't write the first verse, it's from a song by Nickelback.

Drabble. Suggested by a comment of estrellaSMC's. Of all the records in the Giver's library, one has particular poignancy for him.
