After the tragedies of her family, Myrah has to live in a world where demonic cults are rising and raising hell in the city of New York. But only a few know it's more than that. She later on finds herself in the company of a nephilim and discovers things about herself and others through dreams, and the voices. But should she trust the voices? And can she trust the nephilim?

After Kat is taken by Mundus, Dante is injured while trying to find her. Vergil is being a tad protective—maybe even a little overprotective—of his brother, and Dante isn't exactly used to having people looking out for him, but change isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I feel like I'm in the minority when I say this, but I genuinely liked the reboot! The fact that Dante is trailer trash living on a New Jersey style boardwalk instantly appealed to me. I think it suits his character perfectly. This fic is about some much needed down time in his little hovel. Matured for some language, sexual themes, and minor gore.
