Sasuke couldn't believe he kissed that sick, sick, bastard! That Naruto had the audacity to kiss him! Accidental or not, Sasuke was given another reason to hate the Uzumaki. He grumbled a profanity of words and stuffed a cherry tomato that was accompanied with rice into his mouth.

Hinata seemed to have noticed his foul mood. "What's wrong, U-Uchiha-san?"

The two were currently sitting in an empty room they had found while roof hopping and sneaked in through the open window. Desolate and quiet, just how they liked it. For the past few days he had been eating with the Hyuuga, fully basking in the peace that just wasn't the same if he were to be alone. Sometimes they would have small conversations and sometimes they would just feel content in eating in silence, their presence alone being enough. It has been a long time since Sasuke had felt this… tranquil. But he didn't exactly know if Hinata felt the same way. Always tense and jittery, Sasuke couldn't tell if it was because of him or because she's just always like that. He inwardly sighed, knowing deep inside it was the former reason. Even if he knew, she's eventually going to have to loosen up with him anyway because he was not going to leave. Staying near her felt good and he was not going to give that up. It could just have been better if he wasn't teamed up with Naruto.

"That blonde idiot had kissed me!" He answered with full disgust.

Honestly, Hinata was initially upset that Naruto's potentially first kiss wasn't with her but realizing how it was all just a silly mistake, it amused her quite a bit. In fact, she started giggling again just from thinking about it. "I know… I saw," Hinata struggled to say in between her small giggles, still a bit cautious not to anger the Uchiha.

Sasuke's agitated expression is thoroughly loosened by the sound of her titters. Finally he was able to listen to something other than stuttering- even if it was through the expense of his embarrassment. The same vibrant sound he had overheard during class made his stomach flutter. Though last time the source of her giggle was from Kiba Inazuka which had greatly ruined his mood. Apparently, that dirty mutt suddenly became a comedian. Sasuke watched the Hyuuga grab onto her teammate's sleeve to prevent herself from falling over with laughter as she desperately tried to keep quiet. She wasn't even being that loud! Hinata didn't have a laugh that was obnoxiously loud nor a laugh that sounded strange like some others have, just… Well if he were to describe it, like a sparkler firework. Just vibrant, bright, and warm. Anyways, did she have to grab on to his sleeve?

Kiba brought his arm around her shoulder and laughed at whatever dumb joke he had made. Well they seemed close. It also seemed he had broken another pencil. Strange, it appears breaking his writing utensils is becoming a habit of his. Sasuke grumbled some more. There he was dreading over who his teammates were while Hinata was having the time of her life. And it wasn't with him either! The Uchiha was so focused on his thoughts he didn't even notice the food he kept shoving in his mouth was long gone. Hinata also seemed to have noticed that.

"I-if you're still hungry you can have some of mine, Uchiha-san." She looked down at her half finished bento. "I-I do have some tomato side dishes…"

He looked at her with a questioning look. "How did you know I like tomatoes?"

Hinata led out a stifled giggle. "Because you eat them e-everyday." She left out the part where she first found out when overhearing his fanclub, courtesy to Sakura and Ino.

Sasuke berated himself for his stupidity. He includes his favourite vegetable in probably all his meals so of course she would have realized. Though he couldn't help but be glad she noticed. He glanced at her bento, specifically eyeing the fried tomatoes and wow did whoever made that in the Hyuuga household needed a raise right that instance. The sight alone made his mouth water.

"I-I hope it's ok… I never exactly… shared my cooking b-before."

Mentally, his jaw instantly dropped. Sasuke immediately shoved his chopsticks into her bento, making her let out a small squeak in surprise, and put it into his mouth.

"H-how is it?" Her voice trembled in fear of his response.

It was more than good. Delectable even. Way better than his crappy attempts at cooking tomatoes. "Pretty good," he said in a monotonous voice he usually tended to speak in. Sasuke flinched at how cold it sounded and became worried Hinata may take it the wrong way. He always had trouble conveying his feelings. However, Hinata only beamed at his compliment. That's another thing he enjoyed about the girl. She was able to understand his social cues. Any other girl and they would probably be breaking down by now or annoyingly squeal that their fanatically dreams had come true. Anyways, it was either that or the Hyuuga was just oblivious. He will take what he can get.

"T-thank you!" Hinata always enjoyed even the smallest of compliments so she couldn't help but express her glee. She brought her bento closer towards him. "Y-you can have more if you'd like!"

He was gladly going to take some more. That was until he's suddenly disrupted by Naruto. The Uzumaki barged in from the window and ambushed him with rope. Hinata's face immediately turned a deep red just from the sudden sight of the blonde and backed away into the corner, too surprised to even notice Sasuke's distress. Naruto, on the other hand, was too focused fighting the Uchiha to even notice Hinata's presence.

"What are you doing, you loser?!" He screamed at his teammate, struggling against the binds.

Naruto transformed into the onyx haired boy and went back outside through the window. "Just stay still Sasuke! I just have to do something for a quick sec."

"Hey! Comeback!" Sasuke struggled to loosen the ropes but it was futile against its tight knots. "Hyuuga, cut these ropes!" He looked at usual pale skinned Hinata now completely beet red, still dazed from the shock of Naruto's sudden appearance. Oh how this day couldn't get any worse! Sasuke knew of Hinata's blatantly obvious crush on the blonde but he didn't know it was that bad. "Hyuuga!" He called her out once more to snap her out of her daze but to no avail she sat trembling and murmuring who knows what. Sasuke tried a different tactic. "Hinata!" Now that seemed to have worked and he liked the way the name rolled off his tongue.

Hinata whirled her head towards the binded Sasuke. "O-oh, U-Uchiha-san!" She quickly crawled up towards him and brought her kunai out to cut the ropes. "S-sorry…"

He sighed and stretched out his sore muscles. "Whatever. Stay here, I'm going to go find that idiot." Hinata gladly agreed, taking the opportunity to still her rapidly beating heart. Sasuke was going to find Naruto and kill him for a multitude of reasons.

One, for being annoying.

Two, for being his teammate.

Three, for kissing him.

Four, for tying him up.

And five, for being Hinata Hyuuga's petty little crush.

Nevermind, the day is getting worse by the second. In pursuit of finding Naruto, Sasuke was interrupted by Sakura who babbled about a kiss or something else he was sure was just as stupid. He was about to continue on his way when she couldn't be useful and answer just where that blonde headed idiot was.

"You know why he's so annoying? Because he wasn't raised right!"

Sasuke stopped in his tracks.

"He doesn't have a mother or father, no one to teach him from right to wrong." She put her hands on her hips with a confident smile, as if she thought her words were true and was proud of her observation. "Think about it, he just does whatever comes into his head!"

He gave a sharp glare to warn her to stop but she continued. "If I did things like Naruto, forget it! I mean my parents would get mad and I would get in trouble so of course I don't do it!" So caught up in complaints, she couldn't even notice how her words were deeply affecting him as well. Who was she to insult and criticize why Naruto acted like that? His glare only worsened at her impertinence and her thoughtlessness. "He's selfish and bratty. He's all alone!"

"Alone. Isolated. It's not about your parents scolding you. You have no idea what it means to be alone." Sasuke snarked, now incredibly agitated at Sakura's presence. He replied, an answer that was based on his past as well. Sasuke understood his pain; the pain of loneliness, but he also greatly felt the pain of loss. He shivered at how similar he was to Naruto. The difference was how they dealt with their same problems. Though Naruto was considered an outcast, his kindness and determination was what brought in his closest friends and mentors to rid of his loneliness. Sasuke was always surrounded by people but he reluctantly shut them off because of how incredibly fake they all were. They were only with him for his sharingan or looks, not for who he was. No matter how many people surrounded him, he believed he would always feel lonely. That was, until he met Hinata Hyuuga. She cares for his thoughts and feelings. She tries and understands his antics. She, too, also shares somewhat of the same pain of loneliness. The last Konoha Uchiha could only be glad he finally had someone he could share his pain with. Well, even if it is by force.

"W-why are you saying that?" He heard Sakura whimper out.

"Because, you're annoying."

She gasped in shock as if she wasn't expecting the inevitable. Sasuke walked away, losing the anger he had with Naruto as it was now replaced towards Sakura. Though because of her, he was able to realize that Naruto and him were not so different after all. The Uzumaki just had a different way of dealing things. Maybe he shouldn't be so harsh towards him.

"Hey." Sasuke grunted out as he hopped back in the room Hinata was in, glad that she was still there.

She flinched in surprise at his arrival but quickly welcomed him back. He felt a sense of glee that she listened to his words and stayed. Good. He likes girls that listen. His onyx eyes twinkled as he thought just how far she was willing to follow his words.

"I-I still saved some of my m-meal for you…"

He ought to test it out now. Sasuke's devious thoughts were quickly dispersing his anger as he thought of multiple ways to test his theory out. It ranged from cruel to flat out embarrassing to even tasks that will make her face tomato red and forget the dumb encounter they had with Naruto.

"Feed it to me."

"...P-pardon?"

"Feed it to me." He repeated, now making full eye contact with her endless, frightful eyes.

She looked straight at him, wordless and soon to be breathless if she doesn't remember to breathe in time. Hinata was glad her etiquette classes kicked in. "Uchiha-san that is hardly!... A-A-Appropriate…" She just wished she didn't stutter so much about it! The statement came out clear at first, confident and precise, but then she broke down from the intimidation and in the end she was hardly even able to say 'appropriate' properly. Her hands began to fiddle and she broke eye contact to look down on her lap. "P-please don't… t-tease me like… that." She quickly ate her meal so that he wouldn't ask again.

Meanwhile, Sasuke watched the whole process of the poor Hyuuga girl breaking down with great amusement. He drank in each little action she made, almost even tempted to use his sharingan to remember it. Just a second ago, even if it was for a quick second, she became firm with her words but then easily lost her confidence and reformed back to her cute, meek state. But she didn't need to know he thought that. Oh, how fun it was to see her reaction! From a big embarrassed mess, to a proper act of a heiress, then back to a shy, stuttering girl. He chuckled at her reaction, his initial thoughts of annoyance now long and forgotten. Sasuke stood up to leave as lunch break was soon to be over. "Let's get back."

He decided not to answer her request. Sasuke Uchiha was going to thoroughly enjoy teasing Hinata Hyuuga.

Actually, perhaps this day wasn't so bad afterall.
