It's been three months since the incident with Aliea Academy, everyone that had joined the Raimon Caravan to fight against them had all returned to their respective schools and are continuing to enjoy playing football.
Raimon was currently practising at their school, Kino then called everyone in for a break. The players ran over to the sidelines and relaxed with water and lemons. Natsumi was feeling a bit off and didn't talk to anyone instead just stood there with a somewhat sad expression.
Haruna asked if Natsumi was okay which Natsumi responded by saying she was before looking at a girl who was watching the team, the girl has fair skin tone and is average in height. She has blue eyes and an innocent appearance. She has long lavender hair tied in a half ponytail. She usually wears a short-sleeved white shirt, a blue skirt, a teal vest, a blue necktie pair of white socks and dark-purple shoes.
The Raimon players didn't know who she was and suspected that she is a transfer student, Naruto and Endou didn't know who they were talking about but upon looking at her they both remembered who she was and ran towards her. Endou spoke first, "Hey, are you Fuyuppe?"
The other Raimon players looked confused at this as they didn't expect that Endou knew her. Naruto then said "Hey long time no see, you remember me right? Naruto"
Endou nodded and asked if she remembered her as well but she then asked "Who are you?"
Endou said "Can't you tell, it's me! Endou Mamoru!" With Naruto saying "Yeah I'm Namikaze Naruto, remember"
Fuyuppe smiled, making them believe she remembered them but then said "Sorry, I don't remember the two of you. Maybe you're thinking of someone else?" Shocking both Naruto and Endou before saying "I like football, that's why I was just watching"
Before anything could happen a man who is wearing a dark-turquoise coat with a grey shirt under it and black trousers. His hair (also sidebangs and moustache) is dark violet and his bangs cover his left eye, spoke altering them to his presence and said "Fuyuka"
Fuyuka then turned around and acknowledged him as her father. Fuyuka's father then looked directly at Naruto and Endou with a serious look before looking at the rest of Raimon. He then told Fuyuka it was time to go which she nodded and went along with him but not before saying goodbye to Enodu and Naruto
Kino then ran towards them and asked if they knew her which Endou said "We thought we did, she reminds us of someone we used to play with back in first grade" Someoka then said "She probably wouldn't remember if it was back in first grade!"
The next day Naruto met up with Endou on the streets and asked "Hey Endou, did you receive the call from coach Hibiki?"
Endou nodded and asked "Yeah. But do you know what it's for?"
Naruto shook his head and said "No, but if he called us like this then it must be something important" Which Endou agreed with. They both made it to Raimon's gym and saw a bunch of their friends like Kagure, Tsunami and Fubuki. Gouenji made a joke and said "You're the one who's late this time"
Which made Endou rub the back of his head before seeing Hijikata looking at him next to one of the Mukata triplets who introduced himself as Mukata Masaru, as they couldn't tell who he was. Endou inquired about Hijikata's siblings who told them that someone was looking out for them.
Tsunami then said "Hey, Endou. No one knows why we're here. Have you heard?"
Endou told him he didn't know either and inquired about the coach which Kazemaru told him that he wasn't here yet. Aphrodi then greeted them making them happy to see another recognizable face, they were soon pulled away as Kidou got their attention by saying "Sakuma and Genda were called over too"
Sakuma nodded before saying "As far as I can see, we've got a strong crowd here. Looks like something big is about to happen" they greeted the others before Gouenji then said "Some unexpected guys are here too" As Hiroto walked up to them and greeted them and said to Endou "I was surprised to get the call. But Raimon has you in it. I was hoping we'd get to play football together for real this time"
Hiroto then said "Another person was here" Before looking at the dark side of the gym and saw someone walking towards them. Endou didn't remember who it was so the person spoke "How rude. Earth has a saying that goes like this: Pay close attention to the man you've not seen in three days"
This shocked everyone as they finally put it together, he was Reize, the captain of Gemini Storm. Reize then put his hands up and said "Oh, come on now! That was my alien name. I've got a real name, you know. It's Midorikawa Ryuuji"
Mukata Masaru then got in Midorikawa's face and said "Midorikawa, my butt! You destroyed my school, like yeah!"
Midorikawa then backed up a little and put his hands up and said "Oh that… I'm really, really sorry about all that… Just between us, I had to work pretty hard to develop my alien character"
This shocked everyone who remembered his alien persona as he didn't act like this before. Kazemaru then stated what they were thinking "He's like a completely different person"
Midoeikawa then put his hands by his sides and told everyone "So with that, I say to you… All's well that ends well!" before putting his hands behind his back and saying "Call me Midorikawa from now on!"
They then all greeted one another before Tsunami said "Hey, Endou. There's one guy who's just not riding it out here… Do you know him?"
They all turned and saw a boy who was quite tall and with big black eyes with black circles below them. He also has dark purple hair that is shaped like a hawk's wings/moose or deer's horns(Whichever you associate it with.). The boy was currently leaning on a wall combing his hair
Endou said he didn't know who he was either and made his way over to the boy and introduced himself and asked if coach Hibiki called him as well.
The boy just answered with "And if he did?" which angered Someoka. The boy then told Someoka "I'm free to do what I want, aren't I?" Someoka got even angrier and was stopped by Tsunami before he could do anything.
Endou then told the boy he could at least tell them his name, which made the boy sigh before giving his name "Tobitaka Seiya"
Coach Hibiki then opened the door to the gym making everyone run towards him, once they gathered around him a ball was coming towards Kidou, Kidou then turned around and kicked the ball back to where it came from. The person who kicked the ball turned out to be a kid with pale skin and average height. He also has a brown mohawk-like hairstyle with white streaks at the sides. His eyes are blue-grey.
This made everyone turn and look at him, Sakuma then said "Fudou!". Kidou then asked Fudou "Fudou, what are you doing here?"
The now named Fudou answered "Saying my greetings, that's all. Get in with the game already"
Sakuma turned his head and said "Hibiki, don't tell me he's…"
Hibiki just smiled and said "That makes everyone. Listen up carefully! You're all candidates to become representative players for Japan!"
Endou repeated what Hibiki said and asked "Japan's representatives? For what?"
Hibiki then elaborated "The Football Frontier is beginning a worldwide tournament this year. Football Frontier International. FFI for short. It's a tournament to determine the best youth football team in the world. And you're the candidates to become Japan's national players"
This got everyone excited with Endou saying "This is great, guys! Next is the world!" With the others joining him in celebration. The others thought about all the people they will come against and who they could face while feeling like they could go all the way, all except one person, that being Naruto. Naruto knew what the world had to offer as he met some unbelievable players when he travelled the world, he knew that they were not at the level they needed to be to conquer the world but knew that if they worked together they could adapt and evolve to face their challenges.
Hibiki then spoke, making everyone quiet down and listen "The twenty-two people here are only candidates, got it? We'll be pushing it down to sixteen from here on" Natsumi then stepped forward and said "First, we'll split everyone here into two teams of eleven. These two teams will have a selection match in two days to determine who will become reps"
Kino then informed everyone of the teams
Team A:
Goalkeeper - Endou
Defenders - Kabeyama, Tsunami, Tobitaka and Hijikata
Midfielders - Matsuno, Mukata and Sakuma
Strikers - Fubuki, Hiroto and Someoka
Team B:
Goalkeeper - Genda
Defenders - Kazemaru, Kogure and Kurimatsu
Midfielders - Naruto, Kidou, Fudou, Midorikawa
Strikers - Aphrodi, Shadow and Gouenji
The teams separated and stared at each other, Fudou then spoke to Kidou "Let's have a good one, Kidou"
Sakuma then said "Be quiet!" With Genda narrowing his eyes at Fudou
Fudou didn't seem to care and continued speaking "You look dissatisfied, but I'm here because Coach Hibiki acknowledged my skills too, you know"
Kidou looked away from Fudou and said "I know"
"As long as you get it" Fudou said before leaving
Endou and Sakuma walked over to Kidou and Genda to see if they are okay with Fudou on their team, to which they didn't answer instead they gained an annoyed facial expression.
Hibiki then said "Naruto, Endou. You're the captains of your teams. Got it?"
Naruto and Endou looked at him and acknowledged his words. Hibiki then continued by saying "The match is in two days. In order to observe your individual capabilities, the use of combination techniques will be forbidden. Show us all you've got!"
Everyone understood and was allowed to leave, many of them went off on their own to do their own things and train to get stronger.
Time skip two days to the match
Everyone had gathered together again at Raimon's home ground with people from other schools coming to see the selection games.
The two teams were wearing the Japan national team kits, Endou's team was wearing the home version(Blue) and Naruto's team in the away version(White). They then splitted up into their own huddles with their captainsgiving their team members a team talk
Endou told his team "Don't leave any regrets!"
While Naruto told his team "Don't lose your heads. We are here to prove ourselves and to get to play for Japan's national team, so let's not allow personal grudges to get in the way of our chances. Now let's go and show everyone why we deserve to be here!"
Team A = Endou's team

Team A - Team B
Both teams got ready to start the game, the whistle then went. The game started with team A kicking off. Hiroto made his way down the field before he was getting closed off by Aphrodi and Shadow, Hiroto passed the ball to Someoka who was being closed down by Fudou
Someoka managed to dribble past Fudou but as soon as he did Fudou smirked as Kazemaru was there with a sliding tackle, taking the ball off him. Kazemaru then passed the ball to Kidou who passed it to Gouenji who was face to face with Hijikata.
Gouenji faked going left which made Hijikata lunge forward which allowed Gouenji to kick the ball in between his legs and make him free on goal. Gouenji used Fire Tornado Remastered(Same as Fire Tornado but it's just stronger)
Endou then used True God Hand(Same as God Hand but stronger) and managed to stop the shot which made them both smile.
Team A then pushed forward and used some impressive team plays which allowed Someoka to use Wyvern Crash V2 which Ganda who jumped into the air and gathered energy around his fest, he then speeded towards the shot and pummels his fist against the ball and caught the ball(Power Spike(I was torn between Full Power Shield, Power Spike or High Beast Fang))
Genda then passed it to Kidou who was getting closed in by Mukata and Fubuki, Kidou tried to look for a way out but found nothing except an opening to pass the ball to Fudou. Kidou hesitated for a moment before passing the ball to Fudou who had the ball taken off him immediately by Sakuma which lead to the ball going to Someoka
Someoka had brought the ball the forward to Hiroto who used Ryuusei Blade, Kurimatsu ducked his head as he got scared of the shot which made Genda the only person to stop it but he was unable to stop the shot with Power Spike

Mukata, seeing this, got annoyed and voiced his opinion on being forced to play in the midfield which made Fudou smirk. The game resumed with team B taking the kick-off and having the ball intercepted off them.
Matsuno was making his way up the field with the ball, Fudou seeing this turned around and told Kogure and Kazemaru to move further up. Kidou told him he was not in charge but Naruto stopped any arguments by saying "Kazemaru, Kogure listen to him" which shocked Kidou
Kazemaru and Kogure then did as they were told, seeing the high defensive line Mukata saw an opportunity and made a darting run forward with Fudou following him. Mukata then called for the ball which Matsuno followed through with but just before he passed the ball Fudou walked away from Mukata, catching him in an offside trap
Kidou looked shocked at this, Fudou then smirked at him. Naruto turned to Fudou and said "Good job, don't be afraid to give calls like that again" before moving up the field. Kidou w as in shock by Naruto's words while Fudou smirked
Kogure took the kick and passed it to Fudou who ran towards the goal and got past Mukata. Fudou was now in front of Tobikata and Endou. Tobikata stood still watching Fudou coming towards him, Endou seeing this ran forward a little out of goal and called out to him to stop Fudou which jolted him awake and made him run towards Fudou.
Fudou didn't allow Tobikata to get near him and chipped the ball over him and Endou and it looked like it was about to go in but just before it crossed the line Tsunami managed to clear the ball.
Midorikata took the throw-in and gave it to Naruto who crossed the ball to Gouenji who used Bakunetsu Storm, Endou then used Fist of Justice but couldn't stop the shot.

Team A didn't let the goal bring their spirits down as they quickly got their lead back as Someoka was able to use Wyvern Crash V2 so fast that Genda didn't have the chance to react to the shot

Team B kicked off again with Shadow making his way towards goal but was stopped by Matsuno who used Quick Draw(Matsuno rushes towards the ball before sliding away with it), team A ran towards the goal but had the ball intercepted by Midorikawa who passed it to Naruto who ran forwards and got passed Hijikat a with Flying Raijin before going one on one with Endou
Both boys smiled as this was the first time they went against each other in a big game, Naruto had stopped moving and stood in front of Endou. Endou clapped his hands together and said "Let's go Naruto! Give me everything you got! Don't hold back!"
Naruto smirked and said "I don't intend to" before using Kyuubi Strike which met Endou's Fist of Justice. Both moves fought for supremacy but in the end, Endou was unable to save the shot

As soon as the game restarted the halftime whistle went, both teams went to their respective bench and refuelled for the match with the captains giving words to their teammates before they went back onto the pitch
The second half started with both teams throwing everything they had into the match with both teams having great opportunities on goal. Kazemaru had the ball and was bringing it down the line and was met by Tsunami, Kazemaru seeing ran as fast as he could and managed to run faster than he could before making a slipstream that threw Tsunami to the ground after getting past him before crossing the ball into the box
The ball curved while it was in the air, making Endou dive to the side to catch the ball as it looked like it was going in. Team B managed to intercept the ball and was again on the attack, Kidou had the ball and called to Gouenji making him nod and run forward making Kabeyama and Hijikata close him down. Kidou, seeing this, smirked and passed the ball to Aphrodi who had to pass it off as Tsunami made a sliding tackle.
Midorikawa was now through on goal, he spun the ball with his foot, causing the ball to glow blue while pulling debris and swirls of purple energy before kicking the ball(Astro Break). The shot managed to get past both Tobikata and Endou to score a goal.

Team B carried on with the momentum they had and managed to intercept the ball with Shadow using Dark Tornado, Tobikata went towards the ball to stop it but was just too short but he kicked his foot towards the shot which made the wind pick up and surround the ball and making the ball lose all its momentum and allow Endou to catch it with no problem. Everyone was shocked at this and didn't know what to think about it but they shook their heads and went straight back into the game
Endou threw the ball to Tsunami who used Tsunami Boost but the shot was stopped as Kazemaru, Kogure and Kurimatsu huddled together and took the force of the shot themselves. Sakuma headed the rebounded ball to Hiroto who was being closed down by Naruto, Hiroto seeing Naruto coming closer passed it to Fubuki who used Wolf Legend and managed to score past Genda's Power Spike with the last kick of the game

Everyone was sweating and feeling exhausted with everyone hoping they did what was good enough to be a part of the Japan national team. The crowd had dispersed while the players lined up at the centre of the pitch waiting to hear the news of the selection game
Soon enough Hibiki walked towards them with Fuyuppe's father, Hibiki then explained that Fuyuppe's father is the Japanese national team's coach which shocked everyone as they thought Hibiki would become their coach.
Fuyuppe's father then introduced himself as Kudou Michiya. Endou asked why Hibiki wasn't their coach to which Hibiki told them that coach Kudou would bring out more of their strengths than anyone one has done ever
Coach Kudou then called out the members of the team which made them nervous:

Those who made it were happy about the announcement and felt a wave of relief pass through them while those who weren't chosen couldn't help but feel upset but still congratulated those who made it. Sakuma congratulated Kidou and Genda for making it, with the two of them a little upset that they couldn't go together to see the world.
Hibiki turned away from everyone before saying "Starting today, you are representing Japan as Inazuma Japan. Those who are chosen have the responsibility of carrying on the feeling of those who were not chosen" before walking away
Coach Kudou then said "The path moving up to the world is steep. Are you ready to take it?"
The team told him they were before he nodded and walked away. Those who were chosen besides Tobikata and Fudou circled around each other and gave their thoughts on becoming the Japan team.
The team was told they were allowed to stay at the school as it was where they practised so they all went back to where they were currently staying and got some clothes, bathroom supplies and snacks before meeting back up at the school for dinner and some light practise
The next morning everyone gathered around for breakfast and chatted amongst one another while watching Midorikawa try to one-up Kabeyama in how much they eat. After breakfast, they made it down to the pitch and did some stretching while waiting for coach Kudou to arrive.
When the coach arrived, the players lined up as the coach introduced his daughter Fuyuka and told them that she will be part of the managing team. She told them that she's never done this before and hoped she does a good job. Endou told her to talk to him if she needed something to talk to him which she agreed and called him by his first name which made him smile thinking she remembered him but she didn't remember him but thought it will be easy to remember
Coach Kudou then said "From here on, we'll start practising for the Asia prelims but before that, I'll say this upfront: You guys won't stand a chance against the world as you are right now" which shocked everyone besides Naruto and Fudou
Seeing the expressions on their faces coach Kudou said "What's with those expressions? Don't tell me you thought you were on the same level as the rest of the world. If we were to put you up against the world it'd be like blowing scraps of paper away. I was instructed to train you guys from the bottom up for that reason, I'm sure some of you won't be agreeing with the way I do things. But I won't let the slightest complaint go unnoticed. As long as you do exactly as I tell you, that's good enough for me. Especially Kidou, Fubuki, Gouenji, Naruto and Endou. I don't think any of you as regulars. If you want a seat with the regulars, play as if your life's on the line! That's all"
They then started a practice match, Kidou was up against Midorikawa, Kidou was serious about the entire thing and shoved Midorikawa away as he charged forward. Kidou then passed the ball to Kazemaru who got past Hiroto and Aphrodi but had the ball taken off him by Tsunami
Tsunami then gave the ball to Hiroto who used Ryuusei Blade which was stopped by Fist of Justice but the shot knocked Endou on his butt. The game continued with a loose ball falling to Tobikata who missed kicked the ball making it go to Naruto who looked confused as to what happened.
Kazemaru now had the ball and was surrounded by Kogure, Hiroto and Midorikawa. Kidou told him to pass the ball to Hijikata who had the ball taken off him by Naruto who was face to face with Endou again. Endou told him he was going to stop it this time which made Naruto smirk before using Kyuubi Strike and met Kabeyama's The Wall but the shot broke past it but The Wall had managed to slow the ball down just enough for Endou to push it away with Fist of Justice but the ball only went so far as Modrikawa who took a shot at goal but Enodu again pushed it away but this time to Tsunami who shot but this time Kabeyama was able to end the ball out of play with The Wall.
As soon as the ball went out of play Coach Kudou stopped the game and said "Kabeyama" making Kabeyama freak and asked if he did something wrong. Coach Kudou continued by saying "Why don't you move up more? Is standing around all the time called defence? My team doesn't need a defence that only thinks about defending. And Kazemaru!" Which made Kazemaru acknowledge him "Why did you pass to Hijikata?" Kazemaru tried to answer but couldn't "Because Kidou said to? Are you unable to play decently without Kidou's orders?!"
The players besides Fudou and Naruto looked shocked at his words before going back to practice. They continued to practice before calling it quits before getting changed and meeting for dinner. The players were all tied and couldn't help but feel annoyed at the coach for the words he said and how their training was.
Hiroto asked Endou on what he thought about the coach which made everyone look at him. Endou said "Well, it's true that he's different from what we're used to but I think he's a good coach! He tells us exactly what he thinks of us. I'm sure there's still a lot we can work on so that we can play against the world"
Gouenji asked Naruto his opinion, Naruto sighed and said "From my experience with some of the players I met overseas" This intrigued everyone who didn't know about him travelling the world "We are still too weak to compete against them" This shocked everyone but Naruto kept speaking "The teams out there have not only played together much longer then we have. They have also played against one another and know how strong they need to be world champions and we are a team of players that have been playing top-level football for not that long now. I struggle against some of them even my big moves can be stopped by them"
Most people looked down at the floor wondering how they can compete if there are strong people who can stop Naruto, as Naruto was one of, if not the strongest player they had. Naruto seeing this spoke once again "But I do know one thing" this made everyone look back at him "We have as good a chance as any of the teams to win this whole thing. When I first returned to Japan, I realised that I was much stronger than anyone in the Football Frontier and I thought that I might have to tone down my playing style so no one feels like useless and loses their passion for football. But instead, each and every one of you guys has grown so much since the first time I saw you and if we all keep growing then there is no reason why we cannot win this thing"
Everyone smiled at this and realised how far they came and realised that they have indeed come a long way and understood that if they indeed continue their rise then like Naruto said they have a good chance at winning
The next day during training Fudou got annoyed by Endou's words and decided to take action by sliding tackling Kazemaru from behind and taking the ball off him in a clean tackle but resulted in Kazemaru landing badly on his shoulder. Kidou went to have a word with him but he was cut short when coach Kudou told Fudou he did a good job which shocked everyone besides Naruto, Tobikata and Fudou.
The team continued practice again but the team dynamic was all off with some players like Midorikawa trying to go alone. The same thing happened again with practice the next day but the team continued to try their hardest. The team was doing rounds around the pitch but Kabeyama couldn't continue which made coach Kudou yell at him.
After practice, Haruna told everyone that coach Kudou was the coach for Sakurazaki Junior High ten years ago and right before the finals of the Football Frontier finals he caused an incident that forced the team to withdraw from the game. She couldn't find any more information about the incident but told them that coach Kudou was given the name of 'The cursed coach'
Endou and the others went off and thought about what they were told by Haruna. The next day everyone got ready to practice but saw no signs from Kabeyama. Kino told them that Kabeyama refuses to get out of his room which made Endou walk to Kabeyama's room and gave him a friendly talk that Kabeyama took to heart and made him come out of his room to join in their practice, Kabeyama was starting to show signs of heavy improvement as he managed to get into a better running form which allowed him to move the ball quicker.
Later that day everyone had gathered together in the cafeteria and watched the Asia preliminary draw. Before the draw happened the announcer explained how the competition worked "The Football Frontier International first runs preliminaries in five areas around the world, and each championship team from each area will gather on Liocott Island. This is where the fight for the top of the world, the final round of the Football Frontier world tournament will take place. In Asia's preliminaries, including Japan, there are eight countries participating"
The draw commenced with one of each of the four slots being filled by a team. Coach Kudou then went up to pick Japan's opponent. The members of Inazuma Japan looked on with different emotions, some of them were nervous while the others were filled with determination. Coach Kudou then picked out slot 1- A meaning that they would have to face one of the favourites, Australia.
Everyone then realised they had a huge obstacle to get past but some words from Endou made them want to push themselves before the game. But after they got up and ready the next day Coach Kudou told them that they weren't allowed to leave the training camp hall for the two days which shocked everyone.
AN 1 - Genda's moves - I plan on giving him Two new moves to him for the FFI, one solo move which either revolves around animals or a shield base one, don't know yet. While the other one will be a three-person one with Tobikata and Kogure which is like Kamakura Dimension mixed with Fractal House and Zone of Pentagram called Trick Room where the shot seems to go inside of a haunted house set up by the three players making the ball bounce around inside it before landing in Genda's hands. I don't know how It will work yet so if you have an idea about his moves or if you want to add a small bit in the move like how the colours should be or how the ball should move, I don't mind, just let me know
AN 2 - Fudou and Naruto's interactions - I like how I did Naruto and Fudou's interactions as Naruto was not that kind to Sai when they first joined together but slowly came around and worked together so I feel like it could work for Fudou and Naruto
AN 3 - Hijikata and Midorikawa - The reason why I added them to the team is for the Korea team. What I mean by that is that I like the fact that in the anime Midorikawa and Fubuki got injured and were replaced by Someoka and Sakuma as it showed just how much of a fight they had gone through doing the preliminaries and I also like the impact Someoka had on his first game against the world, after he trained himself to get to the point to match against world-class players and coming up with Dragon Slayer as it showed his determination and how much he can grow. So I want to replicate this and have Hijikata and Midorikawa be the ones who leave for Someoka and Sakuma.
AN 4 - Hissatsu Techniques - I plan on giving more moves to Genda(as stated already), Kogure, Tobikata, Aphrodi, Fudou and maybe some others. If you have suggestions of moves that have been shown somewhere, fanmade moves from other fanfics or from the fan wiki(Which I scan over to get some ideas) or your own, please let me know as it helps.
A move I was thinking of doing involves Naruto and Fudou which resolves around them standing opposite sides of each other before jumping up as the ball follows with them before they circle around each other in the air like Koutei Penguin 3 but the outside looks like the Yin and Yang symbol instead of the purple penguins. With Fudou and Naruto being the dots before using their heels to kick it down before the ball goes towards the goal. (Yin Yang)
