Being the mother of a precocious child can be difficult. Deryn experiences all the woes and delights of having a child and a job at the same time in a society which doesn't understand. Luckily, Alek, Jaspert, Ma Sharp, Volger and Dr. Barlow are along for the ride, as well. Rated T, just in case. Chapters/Drabbles.
