Visius saw a stormtrooper plow into the psyker he was drawing to him. He made a move to get to them as an Inquisitor, flanked by 5 sisters of battle, blocked his way. Losing such a powerful psyker when he was this close infuriated him. Surely Slaanesh wouldn't have let him get this far to fail.

He grinned with vicious intent.

"Kill them." He ordered his men.

The Inquisitor lunged for Visius, his sword arching with disruptive energy.

Visius blocked with a sword of his own, he brought his sword down upon the Inquisitors with tremendous vigor, igniting the force blade with his psyker energy.

The blade burst to life with controlled warp lighting, as the two collided.

The two terminators stepped forward to deal with the sisters, allowing the rest of the squad to advance in the confined corridor.

Visius expected the next move, having experience over ten millennium granted insight over many of his adversaries.

In a flurry Visius blocked the next attacks with practiced ease.

Visius feigned an opportunity of attack, pouring a psykic surge of overconfidence into the Inquisitor.

The man fell for it, thinking he had an opportunity of a hit, bringing his blade down in a powerful strike.

The look of failure on the Inquisitor's face was priceless.

Visius deflected the blow off to the side, leaving the Inquisitor's side vulnerable.

Stepping in,Visius raked his force sword across the midsection and up the unguarded side of the man. The psykic energy tearing through the armor of his opponent. Without slowing, Visius used his momentum and larger size to cleave clean through the Inquisitor.

One sister was left, defending against a terminator, the other was dead and left behind as the other terminator advanced to join the noise marines against the other sisters and what remained of the storm troopers.

Visius glanced at the girl who scrambled back, a look of horror on her face as her assailant garbled trying to pull plant growth, of various shades of gray, that sprouted out of his orifices.

The sister left defending against the terminator, called out on an open vox feed.

"Inquisitor Garvin has fallen! The target prisoner still lives! All units to-"

Her transmission was cut short as the terminator made a successful grab at her midsection, crushing her.

The last Inquisitor in the corridor turned to the woman who was now scrambling to her feet and running down the opposite way of the corridor with the other escaped prisoners.

The Inquisitor pulled out a melta pistol and took aim at the fleeing target.

Visius sent a wave of psykic energy to the Inquisitor wrapping his form in a turbulent force of pressure. The Inquisitor fought to aim as his armor started to crush and crack under the pressure of the controlled warp.

Visius wasted no time in closing the distance to the Inquisitor and covered the distance with his superior speed. Running the crushing body through with his sword. Energy crackled as the warp blade slid through the armor and flesh of its victim.

The sound of the Noise Marines weapons were a cacophony of bliss. The unlucky were stripped of flesh as the sound of their weapons tore through their bodies. The Marines moved quickly, dispatching who was left.

Within moments the battle was over.

But Visius felt an ominous presence from the decks above.

The presence of blanks on this ship could be no other than the Sisters of Silence. A select few of whom have no souls, therefore no connection to the warp. They, within presence of a psyker, will nullify their opponents connection with the warp. Making them powerless.

He felt them moving closer.

He reached out for the woman, lacing his thoughts with charm to lure her back.

Time was of the essence that he did not have the luxury of.

Isis ran down the darkened corridor lit only by emergency lights. She followed the rest of the prisoners who, like her, were scared.

The sounds behind them echoed around them, bouncing off the walls in a horrible raucous.

She tried to speak to the people but no one knew her language and just shouted back in their own with wide, frightened eyes.

They reached a dead end. A large door, like the one that was ripped apart earlier by the giant men, barred the way. There were about eight people with her, all screaming and clawing at the door.

Isis quickly rushed over trying to see if her brothers were among them. It wasn't in their nature to run away, she had never seen them falter, but she had to find them. Maybe someone had seen them?

She managed to grab a woman by the shoulders, wanting to ask her if she had seen someone resembling Ares or Jonah.

"Relax!" She shouted and trying to calm her mind, which was flashing in terror.

The woman seemed to agitate even more from the touch of Isis' attempt to communicate and attempted to push Isis out of her head. But in doing so caused the woman to spontaneously combust. Fire engulfed the woman in a fit of panic and flailing arms, as she tried desperately to put out the ethereal flames.

Isis flung herself back away from the woman and watched in horror as the woman writhed to a screaming burning husk.

Isis screamed at the sight which did nothing to calm the others who upon seeing that, amplified their panic. Backing away from the dead woman not understanding what had just happened.

She had no idea what to do now. This ship was enormous, bigger than any of their ships. She had no experience in space vessels, or combat. That was why her brothers accompanied her and her sister. If anyone knew what to do, it would be them. But they weren't here.

"Child, come quickly. It is safe." More feelings than words, once again filled in her mind. She felt a calm, but determined feeling wash over her as her panic slowly subsided.

Isis felt as if she had just taken a shot of the finest whiskey, as a warm sensation filled her.

Compelled, she started to head back the way she came when the cries of the others returned to her.

She could still feel the connection to the one speaking to her mind.

"What of the others? They don't understand me. They'll die here." Her mind still locked on her brothers. "My brothers, I don't know where they are!" She formed the thoughts into a plea.

She felt him leave for an instant. The warm buzz leaving her cold.

Then she felt it again but more as a wave.

The others seemed to have felt it as well for their cries softened. As if they heard the same call, they turned and began their way back in a hurry.

'They're like sheep.' Isis thought. 'We are being herded!' The realization hit her like a brick. She hoped beyond hope her brothers were not on this ship.

The warm buzz intensified. She couldn't fight the compelling pull, she was depleted of her energy, all she could do was move along with the group.
