During a homicide kidnapping, the FBI comes in on the kidnapping in the form of a blonde blue eye Agent. There is an instant connection between her and Castle. Castle has broken up with Gina and Kate is with Josh. Still Kate feels jealousy for this new team member, despite being with Josh. What does it mean for Rick and for Kate and Josh. Will Caskett prevail?

What would happen if Johanna Beckett hadn't died on that fateful day in 1999, but went into hiding with the FBI? The FBI faked her death and she couldn't come back or have any contact with her family until the case was solved. The case is now over. How will her family react? Will this affect the Caskett wedding? Who is buried underground while Johanna still lives?

Authors Note: This is AU; Kate's mom is alive and happily married to Jim. The experiment of Kate and Rick living together is killed when she takes the Fed job 7 months into their coupling, only to return to New York 13 months later, BUT Rick isn't there. I don't own Castle; I only use the characters for amusement purposes, except the ones I create. CASKETT ENDING NOT GUARANTEED
