"Making up for lost time" that's what she said yet when their naked bodies were on each other a prevalent hesitation and awkwardness stopped them halfway, it's not that they didn't want to do it it was more a question of SHOULD they do it and their reasons are heavy ones for both of them.

For Sunny not a week ago he fought to the death with Albert and took down an entire gang and almost died multiple times the only reason he doesn't have some PTSD is because ironically those 8 years of self-isolation somewhat taught him how to cut off his emotions for well pretty much anything, even though he did this out of anger when the time came to enact his plan even when it came to killing he felt no remorse nor pleasure from it, he wanted to see this not as justice but more as Karma bad things happen to bad people for good or ill. The only exception to this was his fight with Albert which is it's own thing entirely.

For Aubrey while nothing really Major happened and she doesn't even remember what happened she can put together she and Kim were more or less sexually assaulted by Albert and his gang and it was a miracle she wasn't..."taken advantage of" while vulnerable. That kind violation is scary to think about since you may never know how, why, or when it happened, she trusts Sunny of course without a doubt but the apprehension is warranted.

So they sat there holding each other, eyes locked trying figure out the "right moment" Sunny knew next to nothing of what to do in this kind of situation since the most/last romantic thing Sunny wanted to do with Aubrey (minus whatever they said to each other at the swings) was hold hands and here he is hugging Aubrey's naked body closely while slowly recovering from injuries

"Sunny" Aubrey said "have you ever kissed anyone" Sunny was confused until he realized "sorry SunBun I couldn't wait for you since I...resented you" Sunny was sad but it was mostly his fault "It's okay Aubrey I bet you don't even remem-" "it was with Kim" Sunny froze for a moment "The same one that Kel is dating" "yep we were a thing for awhile until we realized our true feelings for specific guys" Sunny caught those air quotes Aubrey of course means him but Kim he can only assume she likes athletes and when it comes to loyalty well...they'll be just fine.

"So while you may not be my first you're still kissing the love of your life" Aubrey said with a devious grin, Sunny couldn't agree more while it not have been the easiest journey and whether he deserved it or not this was their moment and nothing was going to take that away, then they kissed, and kept kissing, and kissing and they were...uh joined together at last (I can't write that I WANT TO but can't)

After a nice thanksgiving with Sunny's extended family they go back to their new apartment since the old one was being constantly bombarded with garbage, hate mail, and even fire bombs, so Samson pulled some string and some favors to get them a new apartment in a nice secluded area and making sure no one found out so they can live in relative peace

"Your dad's loaded how!? wasn't he just some office worker the last time I saw him" Aubrey said holding Sunny's hand who responded "well apparently my grandparents on both sides had some inheritance that was worth a fortune and a half and kept it in a bank gaining interest, when they died around the same time when Mari..." "died just say it Sunny we mostly moved on by the time 'MARY' arrived" "heh riiiiiiiiiiiiiight anyway when Father 'lost' Mari and left he must have gotten that inheritance when grandpa died having more than enough to cover the medical fees and treatments to make sure she pulled through as for mother she never wanted that inheritance though kept some for my sake and gave the rest to...Father"

Aubrey could hear Sunny growl whenever he mentioned his father and said "SunBun I'm the LAST person to tell you to just forgive your father, heck I can barely do that since he's at least half the reason our lives turned out like this which includes you too BUT at least's he's around and actually there for you" Sunny saw her looking down "yeah unlike a certain someone if I ever see him-" "do you even remember what he looks like?" "Mother said he looks a lot like sam-Father and when they were younger they were like brothers that is until high school when a certain girl entered the picture"

"WTF!? your MOM!? when was this love triangle!?" Sunny stared confused "no YOUR mother Abigale my Father had a crush on her since he saw my mother as just a good friend" Aubrey couldn't believe it Mari always said her parents were practically made for each other "but mother confessed to him before he tried anything which was good because your mother had a crush on Adrian" Aubrey once again couldn't believe it for the longest time she thought she was a mistake even found some papers for an abortion and all she remembers were arguments and a couple times were things got...physical so to find out that her parents actually liked each other was surprsing to say the least, but she also remembers that when dad left he was with another women.

Soon they got back home and as they go to bed Sunny has the strangest feeling, like he's going to- *plop* Aubrey lands next to Sunny but quickly gets on top with a rather warm smile "you know it's supposed get colder maybe even snowing later so we should definitely...warm up" Aubrey takes off her top "jeez and here I thought the people I used to work with were to horny" Sunny says as he gets up taking off his shirt revealing his scared body and arms, Aubrey touches the scars on his arm thinking 'if Kel got to him maybe a day later he would've been' Sunny puts his hand on the side of Aubrey's face to lean in for the kiss and to get top position

"Aubrey I'm about to" "yeah just put it right *moan*" THAT'S THE MOST YOUR GETTING

After the..."pleasurable act" it was morning and two were still in bed, "Aubrey?" she turned around "why did dye your hair back to black it's late to say but pink was a good color for you" Aubrey smiled and said "well I haven't told anyone this but before...your recital Mari and I made a promise to dye our hair and well I don't want to ruin the mood" Sunny merely agreed "anyway after everything that happened with Albert, the gang, and you I guess I wanted to change myself again for this new chapter in my life with you". She hugs Sunny tightly and so does he, after a long rather dangerous road and some loose ends everything is as it should be.

Well there is going to be a happy ending or more accurately a Yakuza ending

This time let's give Sunny a break and have some nice SunBurn fluff, not to say I don't like the other ships but this one just makes the most sense to me...UNTIL you factor what Sunny did then it's just a mess of emotions but hey that's why we write this stuff

of course the final horror story I want to post either the 30th or 31st so people have something to Drunk read too, I hear that's fun...except for the hangovers
