Haru, fully back to his life. After all, magical adventures always teach a young soul something.

This she herself realised when she remembered her confession of having a little crush on the Baron. This, as Haru herself noted, was a great advancement, for previously she had not been very good at expressing her opinion, much less standing up for it. She was happy to receive the respect of the grumpy but gentle and kind Muta. Down on her backs, Toto's friends. And just to see a gentleman in the guise of a baron.

Haru had one more year to study, before university, because you can only enter it from the age of eighteen. He turned out great, there was time to think and discuss everything with his mother. In the meantime she was just enjoying life, with no problems and no kings wanting to marry off their sons. It seemed like an eternity, but really it was only a month, a week and a day. The adventures fell in April, so it was now a hot May, from which there was simply no escape. It was a normal Sunday, which was the day that Haru and Hiromi went out on the town.

May 14. Sunday.

"What a heat wave," Hiromi said as she sat down at a table at the crossroads, holding a clutch in her right hand and an ice cream cone in her left.

"Tell me about it," Haru joined her, she too had her purse and ice cream cone, only in reverse order. Clutch in her right hand, ice cream in her left.

"Do you think the heat will break soon, or are we going to melt into a puddle of grease?" - Hiromi continued to complain, eating the ice cream.

"I don't know, Hiromi, if it rained now, even for two minutes, I'd be the happiest person," Haru reasoned aloud, out of habit.

She leaned against the back of the chair and tilted her head. And for a few moments there was silence.

"Oh! Hiromi, Haru, are you here?" - A man answered out of nowhere, it was Tsuge, and with him Machilda, they too were not sitting at home on this hot day. And headed in their direction.

"Hi Hiromi!" - Hiromi greeted, "Hi, Haru!" - greeted Haru and sat down next to him.

Machilda and Haru have recently started communicating, but not in a ramontic way, that was the first point they found out before they started communicating. They are not interested in each other. Haru continues to like, cool guys like Machilda, but gentlemen like Baron, so she can't like him. And Machilde, despite his fame as a man who wins girls' hearts, turns out to be very intelligent and well-mannered. He likes modest and charming girls like Haru, but somehow they don't make his heart beat any differently. In Haru, he finds someone with a sense of humour. Though he couldn't help but be surprised by the sudden change last month. She had gone from being perpetually late, making a big deal out of nothing, to being a confident girl. She had the courage to speak her mind, and seemed like the only person who could do the right thing after Hiromi when she found out about the break-up with Lily. Haru didn't, like so many other girls, hang around his neck, impose her society on him, chase him around the school like a maniac to avenge Lily. And Haru's society seemed like fresh air in the midst of all the mess he himself had made.

"Look where you're sitting, enchanted boy" Haru heard a familiar voice, it was Muta, he was unhappy that his favourite place was being surrounded. However, no one heard his complaints because to everyone but Haru, it was a simple meow, which on hearing it, Tsuge bounced off and looked at the seat.

"I thought it was just a cushion," Tsuge said in surprise.

"I'm not a cushion," mutha barked.

"Yes, he is indeed fat," Machilde agreed.

"I can't listen to any more of these ill-mannered babes," Muta's fur ruffled and he jumped off the chair.

"Here, thank you!" - Tsuge said and, without thinking long, took Muta's place.

"And chicken wings too, clucking something about my rude manners."

Haru felt very guilty before him and looked at the cup that had half of the ice cream left in it, it was already full and couldn't cram in any more. Immediately she had an idea, she had noticed this fact in him when she was still at the bureau. So she took the glass and got up from her seat, to the surprised looks of the others, and headed towards Moot, who was about to return to the bureau.

"Moo-cat, do you like ice cream?" - Haru tried to express with a look that she was sorry that her friends had offended her, that she had addressed him as if they didn't know each other, that she was trying to pretend she didn't understand the cat.

"At least someone in this garden refused to be clever, and instead of insulting me, decided to feed me," and took up the treat.

"Aren't you afraid it will burst? I mean, you gave away almost all the ice cream," Machilda asked, which brought a smile to Haru's lips.

"Firstly, it certainly won't burst, I'm sure of that, and secondly, I need to lose a few kilos," Haru remembered the top of the tower and Muta's recommendation to lose weight well, and the memory served as a great incentive.

"Who-who doesn't need to lose weight, it's you, Haru," Hiromi said after a long silence.

"I don't agree, look at you if you were trying to keep her weight down," Muta objected.

'We all lose weight sooner or later' - wisdom, that's the other side of this girl with red hair.

The two friends started arguing, discussing the pros and cons of dieting.

Mutha got bored of it and moved on to the other side of the coffee. Then she disappeared altogether, probably off to the bureau, thought Haru. Then they started to go home on their own. Haru threw the clothes in the washing machine, changed clothes, took a shower, did her homework for tomorrow while her mother cooked dinner, tonight it was her turn, after dinner she went to bed.
