This episode picks up shortly after Chapter 17 of Episode Two. Jack Darby, having recently discovered that he's a Technorganic, is undergoing training on how to use his mods from Arcee and from Sari, who has remained in this dimension to help him in this transition. His mother June, recently downloaded into an Autobot body, has transitioning of her own.

Prowl and Jazz struggle to survive in a harsh and cold world as their sparks find reprieve in each other. But the more you get closer to something, the more it'll hurt when it's taken away from you.

Hearing that her brother Skybreak is dead, she chooses to become an Autobot thus turning her back on all that she once knew. This takes place after TF: Prime. Miko is back in Japan and Bulkhead is on Cybertron. Both don't know how to handle being apart from each other well.

Being struck by lightning wasn't on Ratchet's to-do list. Turns out that the Autobots and their human friends aren't alone in Outpost Omega One. The problem: these neighbors were here first, and only Ratchet can see them. And they want the Autobots gone.

Soundwave has been captured by the Autobots (Minus One) and with their new piece on the chess board, they have no intentions of releasing him. What will come of Soundwave, and what of the results of being trapped with the Autobots? Maybe Soundwave isn't so much the cold, ruthless Decepticon the others fear.
