The funeral for Chris' family was small and the team wasn't invited. When Hondo reached out about it, Chris immediately said no. When Chris did come back on duty, she kept her distance and refused to talked to anyone. After shift, she would leave immediately, calling someone on her phone. Officer Cole was put under probation as he went to court. The attacks on girls and Chris were on going
"Hey Chris?" Deacon asks in the locker room
"Yes" Chris answers monotoned, not looking at him
"We are all going to my place for dinner after shift. Want to join us?" Hondo asks "Annie and the kids will be there"
"Luca going?" She asks, Hondo nods "then no"
"You can't be mad at him forever Chris" Hondo says
"I'm not" Chris says coldly
"Chris" Street pleads "your family wouldn't want you to live like this" Chris sighs, weighing the decision
"I'll go" she starts "but I'm not sitting next to Luca"
"Alright Chris. As long as you go" Hondo says, slightly relieved
"Deal" Chris says with a small smile
"Chris?" Said a voice from behind
"Yes Luca?" She says, not turning around
"I'm glad you're going" he says Chris ignores his words. She didn't blame him, at least, she tried not to
"I'm not doing it for you" Chris says bitterly
The days activities were no different than any other day. On one call Chris would be knocked around a little, from the RedDot group, which seemed to be like clock word everyday. After shift, Chris left to go call someone, promising Hondo she'd be there.

Hondo's House:
Everyone meets at Hondo's house where Mrs. Harrelson and Daryl are there with Deacon's family. Everyone had a good time, except Chris, she went outside and didn't come in until dinner was set. After they all sat on the couch and talked. Chris sat in a chair as far as she could get from Luca
"Aunt Chrissy?" Lila asks coming to sit next to her "are you ok?"
"Yes Lila, I am thanks for asking" Chris says with a false cheerfulness
"Are you sure?" Lila asks "you seem sad"
"Lila, will you remember what I'm telling you now?" Chris asks
"Of course" Lila says "pinky promise" holding out her pinky which Chris shakes with her's
"Ok, I'm going to tell you something" Chris putting Lila on her lap "remember this, when I die some day, it was for a good reason. I didn't leave this world sad and I didn't leave it angry. I was just me. Never forget the people we have lost Lilia, or-" then Hondo comes over
"Chris?" Hondo asks "you want anything to drink?"
"No thanks, I'm going to leave. I have a meeting" Chris says as she leaves. Of course, a little 9 year old wouldn't keep that a secret

Deacon's House:
Deacon is tucking Lila into bed
"What story do you want to read?" He asks
"Daddy?" Lila asks
"Yes sweetheart?"
"Is Aunt Chrissy ok?" She asks "she seems very angry"
"She's going through a lot. She'll be ok" he says reassuringly
"Can I tell you something?" Lila asks
"Of course" he answers, laying down with her
"When I die some day, it was for a good reason. I didn't leave this world sad and I didn't leave it angry. I was just me. Never forget the people we have lost, or..." Lila recites
"Or?" Deacon asks
"That's it" Lilia says firmly "I think it's pretty, don't you?"
"Uh, yes Lila. That is pretty" Deacon says "did Chris tell you that?"
"Yea, she seems very sad. Daddy, should we do something?" She asks, her eyes projecting worry
"No dear, you've done amazing. Now Daddy is going to do something" Deacon says, kissing his daughter goodnight and he goes straight to Annie.
"Annie, I need to go see Chris" Deacon says
"David, you are not leaving unless you explain the situation" she replies firmly
"I think Chris is planing to kill herself" He answers
"What?!" She says in a hushed whisper, and Deacon retells what Lila told him. Annie nods and Deacon leaves.

HQ:
Since Chris is still not allowed to be at her house, Deacon goes to HQ. There he sees Chris' sitting in the parking lot, her hand resting on her gun.
"Chris?" He calls out
"Who is that?" She calls back, raising the gun "Oh it's just you" Coming closer and pulling the gun down "what are you doing?"
"Chris, that story you told Lila?" He says
"Oh, sorry, I thought she would keep it to herself. I shouldn't have said anything" Chris apologizes
"Don't apologize Chris. Do you want to talk?" Deacon asks
"No!" Chris says quickly "I mean no thanks"
"Chris?" Deacon asks "what is going on"
"Nothing!" She says "just go home"
"Chris, please, we can talk about this" Deacon argues
"Just go!" Chris says in a final tone "I said go!" Feeling defeated Deacon goes back home
"What happened?" Annie asks the second Deacon walks in
"We are loosing her" Deacon says "she's just so angry"
"What are you guys going to do?" She asks
"I don't know yet" He admits before heading to bed
