HQ:

Deacon goes into work and hears Chris on the phone. He is about to leave when he hears the other end of the conversation

"They don't know" Chris confirms "What else do you want?" the voice on the phone makes her eyes harden "no, I'm not doing it"

"Try me" the voice says on the other end

"Are you serious?"

"Test my patience and find out" the voice answers "I let it slide, but not anymore. Do you want them to-"

"Alright! I'll do it" she interrupts as she hangs up

"Morning Chris" Deacon greets, pretending to have just walked in

"Deacon" Chris says monotoned

"How are you"

"Just fantastic" she grumbles. She pus her phone in her locker and walks out. Deacon opens the again locker, takes our Chris' phone, and gets in. Her password being the day her family died. Deacon looks at her past calls and sees it is to the same number. Looking at the voice messages he finds threats and a meeting place. There is one from last night and another for today.

"Deacon" Chris says, running to grab the phone. Deacon raises it above his head so she can't grab it right away "give it back, it's my phone"

"What are you doing Chris?" Deacon argues "what the hell did you get yourself into" Chris sweeps her leg under Deacon, catching him off guard as he falls to the floor. The phone slides across the floor, Chris grabs it and puts in her pocket.

"Hello?" Hondo asks from behind who saw everything "who wants to start"

"Chris?" Deacon asks

"None of your business" she replies "back off"

"Chris" Hondo says gently "whatever is going on, we can help you"

"And just how well did that work out last time" Chris says eyes narrowing

"Chris?" Streets asks entering with Luca and Tan

"Stay out of this. When you intervened last time, I lost my family" Chris continues angrily

"And your family wouldn't want you to hold back Chris. They would want you to make peace and move on" Luca answers

"Easy for you, considering they're dead because of you; all of you. So just shut up!" She shouts, running out the door

Monday 7:50

Hicks' Office:

The team, minus Chris, is called into Hicks' office. Entering, Hondo eyes a resignation letter on Hicks' desk

"Chris just came to me saying she quits" Hicks announces, the guys begin to protest when Hicks puts a hand up for silence "I tried to get her to reconsider but she refused. I asked why and she wouldn't give me a straight answer. Because of all this, I'm holding her spot"

"I think is has something to do with her phone" Deacon says

"What?" Street asks

"Chris kept getting calls and voice mails from the same number. I walked in on her earlier talking to the person, I would assume, and she was agreeing to do anything they said" Deacon recounts

"I wouldn't be surprise if it was Cole" Street says "he is only under a light probation"

"Chris did say to me that Cole knows where we all live, he took her family but he could control her with any of us hanging over her head" Luca says

"So, which one of us is next on his suppose hit list?" Tan asks

"I think you, Street and Luca are out, you don't have a big family living with you. I have Daryl and my mom. Deacon has Annie and-" Hondo thinks out loud, then it hits them

"He's going after my family" Deacon says "what are we going to do? If we do anything it can blow back on Chris and he could send people after my family"

"Alright guys, hold your roll. Why don't you first deal with Chris. Then we tackle this theory. Am I clear?" Hicks says

"Yes sir!" They say, leaving to look for Chris. They find Chris is packing her stuff into her truck.

"Chris?" Luca calls, she turns then looks away quickly

"Hicks says you quit?" Street says "why?"

"Street, I don't owe any of you an explanation" she answers "why can't you leave me alone?"

"Chris, why are you giving up everything you've worked so hard for?" Hondo says trying to push for an answer

"Does this have something to do with that phone call?" Deacon asks

"You were listening?" Chris says "I'm have to- get out of my way" shoving past the guys, Chris takes out her gun and runs

"Follow her but stay away. I want to see what's going on myself" Hondo commands.

Monday 8:00

Creepy Alleyway:

Chris enters an ally and there are three hooded men, waiting for her

"We already know Chris. I already sent a group towards his house" says a deep voice that must be Cole's.

"We already know I'm worthless to you" Chris mutters "what is going to take?"

"Run, if you stop them then they're free" Cole says angrily. Chris punches him in the face. Then a gun goes off and everyone scatters, so the team rushes over

"Chris?" Street whispers

"Don't call an R/A, it missed" Chris says "get out of here" she stands and drops a sound grenade, which at this close of range knocks the guys out. The last thing they see is Chris running

Monday 8:15

Same Creepy Alleyway:

All this time, I thought Chris hated us. But she was protecting us, willing to die for us. Luca thinks as he regain consciousnesses

"Oh" he says holding his head "who knew that those things hurt like hell"

"We gotta find Chris" Hondo says, pulling Luca to his feet

"I need to protect my family" Deacon says

"Let's go back to HQ" Hondo says "Deacon, we will do everything we can" At HQ they fill Hicks in and race Deacon's house. When they arrive, the team sees a white van and hooded men with guns emerge. Chris comes out leading the kids into a shed, then she runs back in.

"Alright aim for the men, Chris will get your family out, Deacon" Hondo says, the team runs as fast as they can, trying to get there in time

"Annie" Deacon calls, watching Annie run out, with Chris behind holding Victoria. At that moment gunfire comes from the suspects. The bullets catching Chris, Annie, and Victoria in the crossfire. Thinking quickly, Chris pulls Annie close to her so Annie is hidden by Chris. She then lays Victoria vertically on her chest, covering both of them with her body as bullets hit Chris. As the men go to reload, the team fires killing everyone except one. The suspect runs toward Chris, on instinct, she grabs her gun and aims at him. Deacon runs to Annie and Victoria, who Chris gave back to Annie.

"Annie" Deacon calls leading them to the shed

"Cole" Chris shouts "I'm done being your prisoner"

"Alonso" Cole answers, pulling down the hood. Chris stares him down, then she turns, realizing for the first time that her team is there "what are you doing here?"

"We are a team" Hondo says firmly

"A team that killed my family" Chris shoots back

"I have connections who are waiting for my signal. Finish this" Cole commands, Chris looks at the team

"I know" she says, looking at her gun

"Chris, stop" Street says, putting the pieces together

"I have to Street, do you see another way out?" She asks "I'm doing what needs to be done" Deacon comes out of the shed with Annie

"Chris, they're safe, stop playing with us" Deacon says

"Cole isn't going to stop until I'm dead on the ground. If I do this, Annie and the kids will be safe" Chris says

"That isn't how it works Chris. Cole is going to whatever he wants and you dying isn't going to change anything" Hondo counters

"That isn't true" Cole argues "Chris, you don't deserve to live, you know it"

"He's lying Chris" Tan says

"I didn't want to die" Chris says

"Didn't" Tan asks

"But I don't want to live anymore" Chris finishes "I got nothing to live for I have no job, no place to live, no family, I have nothing"

"Hicks is keeping your place, and you are more than welcomed to stay with any one of us. Chris, we are your family" Hondo says

"He's a lier" Cole says "Chris you are a waste of space that needs to just die!"

"He's right" she says "how could you forgive me? After everything I've done"

"Chris, you risked your life to save my family" Deacon says "there is nothing to be forgiven for" everyone nods, Chris looks at the team, trying to think it through

"Alonso, you haven't done anything! All you've done is make it worse" Cole fires back "they want you to kill yourself, they're just afraid to say it"

"He's right" she says in a final tone "he's right

"Chris!" Street begs "please"

"I don't deserve to live" Chris says shifting the gun to her head and pulling the trigger
