"Who... Who are you?" Chris asks, looking at everyone

"We are your team" Deacon says trying to hide his shock "we work together"

"Oh" Chris says, looking at the faces in front of her "were we friends?"

"We are all very good friends" Luca replies "do you remember anything?"

"My family is Helena, Sarzo and Tomás" she says "and I think my name is Christina Alonso"

"Street? Can you get the doctor please?" Deacon says, Street runs out of the room. He sprints down the hallways before finding Dr. Brentwood

"Hey there, is she awake?" she asks him

"Yes, but she doesn't remember anything"

"Go back to her room, I need to get the Neurologist specialist" she says. Street nods, and he runs back to Chris' room

"Ok I think I got it, you're Daniel, David, Dominique, Victor, and- who are you?" Chris asks, looking at Street

"I am Street" he says "Jim Street" Chris looks at him for a moment. Her eyes then light up with excitement

"That sounds familiar- wait " she looks at the group again "Hondo, Deacon, Tan, Luca, and Street! We are all on SWAT together, right?" The guys nod with smiles, then Dr. Brentwood and another woman enter the room

"Hey there Officer, I am Dr. Brentwood, you're doctor"

"Nice to meet you" Chris says

"And I am Dr. Willis, Head of Neuro. My job is to make sure you remember everything correctly alright?" Chris nods "can you start by telling me what you remember?"

"I think it's coming back a bit" she says "the last thing I can think of is when Hondo became 20-David" the guys look at each other nervously, concerned that Chris is missing three years of her life

"Alright, can you follow my finger please?" She asks, Chris obliges "now wiggle your toes" Chris does that as well "finally push down on my hands" as they two finish the exam, the doctors motion for the guys to follow them into the hallway

"What are we looking at Doctor?" Deacon asks

"Well her memory loss was not unexpected, even if it was more severe then predicted. However, Christina is already beginning to remember and passed the other neurological tests. I believe she can recover fully" Dr. Willis says confidently

"What do you mean by recover?" Street asks "Will she just remember the events or will she remember being there?

"She will most likely remember in first person, not third person. However, I know she has gone through depression and grief fairly recently, so I must warn you that they will come back again" she answers

"What does that mean?" Tan asks

"For example, she came into this hospital because of a suicide attempt. Christina is going to remember first that she tried to kill herself, it will take more time for her to remember that she is working to be able to overcome it" she explains "and that is if the memories come back in order. There is a chance that her memories will not come back in order, making it harder to understand"

"What does this mean for us?" Hondo asks "what can we do to help?"

"This is an unprecedented situation sir. I personally believe that it will depend on how much the two situations differs. It is very possible that she will grieve differently and become suicidal again" She answers "all the memories are in her head, but her brain isn't able to make the correct neurological signals to allow Christina to remember. My best advice is to keep her going, that is the only way she'll heal"

"Thank you Doctors" Deacon says

"Of course, call if you need something" and the two leave

"Does this mean we can help her now?" Street asks

"What do you mean?" Luca asks

"We know the outcome of what happens, we can help her heal before she remembers" He explains

"As easier as that would be Street, I don't think it is a good idea to meddle with her memories and her reactions to them. We need to let nature takes its course, even if Chris is going to be mad at us" Deacon replies sadly

"Is everything ok out there?" They hear Chris calling

"Let's go see her, maybe she remembered more" Hondo says. When they enter Chris is looking at them

"Hi guys" She says happily, everyone smiles, grateful to see their friend in a happier mood

"How are you Chris" Hondo asks

"I'm better. Do the doctors know when I'll be able to go home?"

"They don't" Luca answers "but once you remember everything, then hopefully after that"

"Did an op go wrong?" She asks "like really wrong?"

"Why don't we let the memories come back naturally" Hondo says "we all don't want to hurt the memories coming back" Chris nods. She then lays down, exhausted after her initial burst of energy starts to fade

"Does my family know I'm ok?" Chris asks, the whole room grows silent

"They are on vacation" Deacon lies, not wanting to hit Chris with the biggest blow "they're on a cruise and don't have service, you couldn't go because of work. So they probably don't know" Hondo nods slightly

"Oh, that makes sense, I hate cruises anyway" Chris says, her eyes begin to close, but she tries to fight off sleep

"Go to bed Chris, we will wait for you" Deacon says, she looks at him lazily, before finally succumbing to sleep

"Ok" she whispers "thanks for everything" her eyes close. The guys look at their friend

"Is it bad that I wish she wouldn't remember too quickly?" Luca asks "I haven't seen her this happy in so long"

"Probably is" Deacon says "but I was thinking it too"
