With over twelve restaurants to his name and one of the most prestigious cooking records in the world, Shizuo Heiwajima is arguably the best. Of course, being the best invites challengers. Cue Izaya Orihara, an upstart kid with a spotless record who thinks he can cook. Predictably, they don't get along. The cooking AU you didn't want but got anyway!

Shizuo never really listened to Izaya's rambling. Though there were a few things that he was able to hear. One of them was the goddamn flea considering himself a god. But for Shizuo if there was anything that Izaya for sure wasn't, it was any sort of deity. And to his last moments, he didn't realise how wrong he was. Yeah! I fixed the summary! It makes sense now. (I just got back into watching Durarara x2 and a thought came to me, and I decide to write this.) The story starts with a character named Alex who is fresh out of high school and after he saved enough money from his part-time job, he bought a ticket to Japan and had enough money to last a couple weeks. So his has to find a job and a place to stay. (Also title is meh)
