For once instead of hunting or gathering food, Flora and her friends were down at the lagoon just having fun playing.
Lok and Katie talked while Flora, Tana and Greg stood in the water and splashed each other since Flora and Greg were teaching Tana about water fights and what better way to explain than to have a water fight.
Tana had been surprised at first but was delighted to take part in the water fight with her best friends. "This is more fun than I thought it would be." Tana admitted with a smile, she laughed and splashed Greg.
"We told you so." Flora replied as she was splashed, Lok and Katie laughed as they watched the younger kids play. "We should have more fun days often." Greg chimed in, he splashed both Flora and Tana happily.
Before the fun could continue, the ground started shaking. "EARTHQUAKE!" Flora, Tana and Greg shouted in fear, Lok and Katie got the three kids out of the water just in time to see the sacred statute sink into it.
Once the quake subsided, Lok checked on the others before leaving to get Gorok and Gara as well as John and Kim. "What happens now that the Keeper of the waters is gone?" Flora asked Tana, she didn't know.
"The water will turn bad, and no one may drink it." Gorok answered for Tana, the four adults came just in time to hear the question. "What do you mean it turns bad?" John asked in worry, everyone looked at him.
Gorok explained that the Keeper of the waters had always protected the lagoon and made the water pure, but without him the water turns bad and will make anyone who drinks it sick even if it's a non-human as well.
Flora shared an uneasy look with Tana while the adults tried to figure out what to about fixing their new problem before things got even worse for the valley as they'd been feeling shockwaves from the earthquakes.
"Then maybe we can make a new one." Greg suggested, while Gorok thought that it wouldn't work, he decided to give Greg's idea a try. "Better gather the other men from the village." Kim told her husband who agreed.
While the men along with John, Greg and Katie went to the cliffs to carve out a new Keeper of the waters, Kim, Gara, Flora and Tana stayed behind to keep the dinosaurs and other animals away from the lagoon for now.
However, while they did that, the four girls also made something akin to a leaver system in order to place the new statue onto the old guardian's place in order to get the water purified and to stop anymore earthquakes.
"Will this really work?" Gara asked Kim, the two had the rope in place. "With the right calculations, it'll work just fine." Kim responded with confidence; Flora had helped her with all the math, so that nothing went wrong.
Soon enough Flora who had been on lookout, saw the men with a new Keeper of the waters in a wagon in tow, however Flora saw that they were being chased by a Dimetrodon which spurred her into action once more.
Kim and Gara saw that the young girl had raced past them with determination in her eyes, so while Tana cheered Flora on, Kim and Gara tried to grab her but ended up missing, so they watched on in worry for Flora.
Flora grabbed a spear then raced over to her friends with an episode of Jem and the Holograms flashing through her mind leaving her to know the perfect song to sing in this moment, so she started to hear the music.

Everyone watched as Flora stood up to the Dimetrodon and chased it away with the spear she had. "Nice work, now let's get this statue into the water." John said to her, Flora nodded and got onto the wagon quickly.
Since the way to the lagoon was literally downhill, everyone got onto the wagon as it went down to the lagoon where Kim and Gara were waiting with the rope leaver. "We are all set here!" Gara called out to Gorok.
The men managed to get the new Keeper of the waters into place then helped get it into position over the water before carefully and gently placing it down, right on top of an underwater geyser which plugged it up.
"So that's what the guardian is for." Katie muttered, she and her family realized that the Keeper of the waters kept the geyser from going off and turning the water hot as it was possibly connected to a volcano as well.
Flora on the other hand had already reached that conclusion but didn't want to say anything that might offend Tana and her family since they had told Flora about the Keeper of the waters before today even happened.
The Butlers and Flora watched as their friends celebrated the fact that they had a new Keeper of the waters, and that the lagoon wouldn't become impure from the geyser. "We should join in." John told them happily.
John, Kim, Katie, Greg went to join in on the fun while Flora watched since she wasn't sure if she could join in the celebration. "Flora! Come on!" Tana shouted to her; Flora saw that her friends were all waiting for her.
"I'm coming!" Flora called back; she ran towards her friends with a smile on her face and once she reached them, Flora started to do a traditional tribal rain dance that the kids she'd met on the field trip had taught her.
John and his family knew the dance that Flora was doing so they began to dance with her and before long, everyone was dancing along since it was fun and that's when it began to rain gently which surprised them all.
Flora began to laugh followed by the Butlers as their friends were still surprised by the rain, so Flora explained to them what the dance was, which made everyone else laugh in joy before they went back to the village.
