Hey, guys! I'm so sorry for my disappearance! I got a new job in November at a Hospital. So, of course, it's been super busy. I work a 12-hour shift now so my schedule is a bit hectic. I will do my best to reply to those for have sent me messages as well. In the meantime, here's the new update! Enjoy!

BTW, I don't own YJ. I only own my OC, Alizeh.

This chapter comes from the comics but I gave it my own personal twist. I only now found a reliable source to get the comics so those will hopefully appear from this point forward.

POV change

St. Roch, LA| 6:00 pm July 24, 2010

Like most Saturdays, it's time for me to switch places. Every week, I go back and forth between my mom's house to my dad's apartment. If I can help it, I try to switch places without my parents getting involved. I do this to avoid the fights that are sure to ensue. However, I couldn't do that this time since my mom and Katar wish to speak to my dad. I rather they do this somewhere else, but Batman has put a strict ruling restricting any conversations between my parents unless needed on the Watch Tower. So, I'm going to grin and bear another fight for the sanity of others. Joy…

Pinching the bridge of his nose, Katar begins once again with his argument, "It's a critical and fundamental part in any Thanagarins life. If you don't allow it, you will be depriving her of a core element in her development."

"Really, because I recall saying the same thing about school, yet you were against it."

"That was different, John," My mom tries to intervene as usual to settle the argument before it can get any worse.

"No, it isn't Shayerah! Alizeh is part human too."

"Don't I get a say?"

"No," all three of my parents exclaim. I roll my eyes as the argument continues between the three. Honestly, I don't remember what the fight is about this time. Instead of sticking around with my butt on the couch, I sneak out of the living room of my parents' home and into our headquarters. Once there, I change into my uniform, grab a backpack with my change of clothes and fly out the back entrance.

I don't even bother staying in Louisiana as I head to the nearest zeta beam transporter. I randomly select a location without a care in the world. Of all places, I land in NYC. A great place to kill time and fight bad guys.

Perhaps it's not the best coping mechanism, but I've found it best to fight criminals to relieve any tension I have. It doesn't matter the place or time so long as there's someone to smack. It's been this way ever since I became a hero. Before that, if my parents were arguing, I would usually go and punch a few bags, but that never helped. They tend to break a whole lot faster than humans.

As time goes on, I get into the groove of fighting. I stop a few muggings and help a few men understand the meaning of the word no. Finally, when I drop the last dirtbag at the local precinct, I notice a friend watching me from the rooftop across the street. Knowing her intentions, I fly up to meet with Wonder Woman.

"Hello, Princess," I greet the older woman respectfully. Diana is the only royal I will ever acknowledge. The strength she holds as a leader and warrior are enough for me to follow her into any fight. By far, she's my favorite hero in the League which ruffles my mom's feathers. "I see my mother sent you to look for me. Was Black Canary busy?"

"Can't you ever play along and pretend I'm here simply to visit?"

"Not when you're in uniform. You never wear the uniform when we have a girls' day with my mom and Canary."

"Fair enough," Diana admits as she waves me over to sit beside her on the ledge of the building. "Shayera has mentioned the tension at home."

"You mean the never-ending fight, right?"

"...Yes, and she believes it might be best if you return home. That way, they can resolve the feud."

"She always says that, and it never resolves!" I yell by accident. Checking my emotions, I brush down my newly puffed feathers as I continue speaking with Wonder Woman. "It never gets better."

"Then perhaps you should think about resigning as the co-leader, and possibly the team in general, until this is all settled."

"...What? No! Diana, please don't make me. I don't want to be stuck at home all day. It's bad enough I don't fit in any part of society, but now you're making me give up the only place I belong."

"No, of course not. I would never force you into that. However, the amount of responsibilities you have on your shoulders is far too much considering the problems back home."

"But taking me from the team won't resolve anything either. I know my parents, and they've been this way ever since John came into my life. The feud never ends."

"Fine," Wonder Woman sighs, dipping her head as she turns to look at me. "If you wish to stay on the team, then so be it. Instead of talking about your parents, why don't you tell me about your first mission and briefing with the team."

Smiling at the older woman, I begin to recount the near-disaster our first mission as a team went. Afterward, we trailed off onto other topics like a few juicy secrets Dinah told Diana. Dinah has always included me in any conversation she has with my mom and Diana. In her words, the female members have to stick together. Plus, the two have known me for years. I'm basically the niece they never had.

"I'm glad things are going well outside of the home," Wonder Woman smiles, and I mirror her smile with one of my own. The moment doesn't last as she continues to speak. "I know this doesn't mean much to you, but one day it will get better. The situation at home, I mean."

"Pfft! When? I'm sixteen years old and nothing has changed in the last six years since coming to Earth and meeting John! If we were in Thanagar, I wouldn't even be living with them anymore. I would be free."

"You don't mean that-"

"Yes, I do," I interrupt the amazon princess. "On Thanagar, once you reach the age of sixteen, you're considered an adult. Sadly, Earth has different customs, especially in America... I can't wait until I'm eighteen."

I look at the time, realizing how late it is, and decide to go home. I bid a silent farewell to Diana before traveling to the nearest zeta beam transporter. I find a place near my dad's apartment to make a quick pit stop to change out of my uniform and into my civilian clothes. Once that's done, I make my way to the apartment in complete silence.

Before I open the door to his home, I note the light coming from underneath the door, meaning my dad must be in the living room. Without another moment wasted, I open the door to my dad sitting on the couch with his arms crossed.

"You look like a kid who's pouting," I point out to the man. "Just an FYI."

"Where the hell did you go?"

"Out."

"Without permission!"

"Didn't see an opportunity to ask with all of the fighting going on in the background."

"Alizeh cut the sass," my dad tells me as he approaches. Once he's towering over me, it takes a lot of self-restraint to stop myself from squirming. "You know better than to do that."

"I know, but it's better than watching all of you fight."

"Alizeh-"

"No, I mean it, dad! All you ever do is fight with one another unless it's to save the world."

"Don't be ridiculous."

"Then what were you doing today?"

"Well-"

"Or the last time you dropped me off over at my mom's house?" I interrupt my dad. "Or the time my mom came to drop me off at the apartment.

"I... we-"

"See! you can't come up with an excuse."

"Alizeh, I know it's difficult for you to understand-"

"No, the only challenging part is trying to stay optimistic about being a family when my parents are intent on fighting each other."

"I want us to be a family too!"

"Liar! No, you don't! If you wanted that then you wouldn't argue each time you saw each other."

"I don't want to fight, but Katar makes it difficult."

"Don't blame this all on him. It's not just one person! All of you are at fault!"

"Alizeh-"

"No! Katar only wants me to have a Thanagarian upbringing like I deserve to have."

"But you're human as well, Alizeh!"

"So why can't I live both ways?" I yell, my voice cracking at the end. "My culture keeps escaping me since nobody wants me to live either lifestyle. I don't even know who I am at this point."

Sighing, my dad brings me in for a hug, and as he holds me close, he begins to whisper. "Isn't being my daughter enough?"

"I can ask you the same thing," I snarl, pushing him away. "Isn't the love you hold for me stronger than the anger you have towards my Thanagarian parents?"

When he fails to respond, I walk away from my dad to hide under the covers of my bed where I can escape the world. I don't bother speaking to him the following morning either. Even when I make breakfast, I leave his food to the side and eat alone in my room before he can disturb me with a hello. Throughout the remainder of the morning, John tries to speak to me from the other side of my new bedroom door. Unfortunately for my dad, I don't have the patience to deal with him, so I leave the first chance I get. With no other place in mind, I slowly make my way to Mount Justice.

B03: War Hawk

Walking into the cave, I settle on avoiding my teammates in favor of the cliff-side view overlooking the ocean on the other side of the cave. I don't know how long I'm sitting here until Aqualad joins me. At first, he doesn't say anything, but it doesn't take long before he finds a topic to settle on.

"Why is it that I find you in the strangest of places?"

"What do you mean?"

"I understand why you favor secluded areas high above the ground. However, I don't understand why you chose this cliff."

"What?" I asked, confused by the boy. I look around, and as I suspected, nothing terrible comes to mind as I admire the view. "It's beautiful out here. Calming too."

"I agree, but it holds the thing you hate the most."

"Which is?"

"The ocean."

Looking away from the boy and towards the sea, I lose myself momentarily. I'm not sure why, but I've always despised water. Odd, considering the boy I'm in love with hails from the watery depths of the ocean. Nevertheless, I don't mind looking at it from afar. Showers are fine as well. The problem occurs once I'm within a pool of water. The best I can ever achieve is allowing the water to reach my thighs if I close my eyes and someone holds my hand.

"I guess, from here, I can lie to myself about having control over my fear."

"Lying never solves anything, Alizeh."

"No, but it's a temporary form of relief. Plus, the ocean isn't all that bad."

"Oh?"

"Yeah," I said, changing my tune to a more flirtatious one as I inched closer to the boy. "It holds you." He laughs, and I join him as I place my head on his shoulder. "So, why did you come looking for me?"

"No reason other than spending time with my closest friend on the surface world."

"So, in other words, you were bored."

"Must you twist my words?"

"Of course," I smirk a while he bumps me. "Hey, Kal?"

"Yes?"

"Something has been on my mind for a while, and I was wondering if I could ask you something."

"What may that be?

"Do... do you ever wish to leave this place behind? Start a new life somewhere far away?"

When the question reaches Kaldurs ears, he removes me from his shoulder to look me in the eye. Well, kind of since I'm in civilian attire with my sunglasses on. "Alizeh, you don't mean that do you?"

"...I don't know. Maybe?"

"What has happened," he inquires, holding my head in his hand. "Tell me."

"Nothing," I reply, pulling away. "I was just making conversation."

Standing up, I begin to walk away when a hand reaches for mine.

"Alizeh-"

Suddenly, our comms come to life as Batman calls for the team to assemble. Using this as the perfect opportunity, I pull away from the teen and race towards the main hall. When the two of us reach Batman, the rest of the team arrives. Without a word, we line up to receive our orders.

"Colorado has been known for its Nuclear plant and their work in Nuclear weapons," Batman begins as he pulls up a holographic image behind him. "Recently, there have been massive developments with the use of plutonium. This has garnered attention from many spectators, including Atomic Skull and Psycho-Pirate."

"Who?" Superboy questions.

"Psycho-Pirate," Robin smoothly replies as he pulls up other images alongside the ones Batman has in place. "He adorns the Medusa Mask, which gives him the ability to control the emotions of other beings."

"Eh, he's a small-time villain," Wally adds. "Atomic Skull is the one to beat!"

"Don't underestimate the villains," Batman growls. Kid Flash stops talking as the dark knight reclaims our attention. "Currently, the two have taken hold of the Nuclear plant in Salt Flats, Colorado. The Police have attempted to intervene, but no progress has been made. Psycho-Pirate is controlling those inside the plant to do his bidding. With the League busy, it's been decided to leave this case to you. Capture the two villains before they cause any harm to the populace. Dismissed."

Robin, Kaldur, Wally, and I race to the locker rooms as M'gann readies the bio-ship while Superboy radios the police of our approach. Once we're ready our team races to the ship to meet up with M'gann. Soon the six of us are in the air flying to the Salt Flats.

"So, what's the plan?" Superboy questions.

"Robin, bring up the layout of the facility," Kaldur orders. Robin reveals a digital image of the power plant for all to see. "Openings?"

"Six entrances at the main building. The others vary. Superboy, what did the police tell you."

"They think the two of them are holding up in the center of the plant, but it's hard to tell."

"We'll have to hack the system on arrival to figure out where they are," I state to the team. "The question is at which point?" I motion to the building farthest from the main one. "We could try here, but they might've assumed it as the weak point and placed guards there. Also, we don't know how far the reach of the Medusa Mask extends. Psycho-Pirate could be more powerful than before."

"I can scope the area," Miss Martian tried to offer. "Find out where they are."

"No. The Medusa Mask is capable of draining the emotions of others to sustain the user while forcing the victim to feel anything of his choosing. If he manages to find you, Psycho-Pirate can force you to attack us."

"Instead, we'll use Robin," Kaldur concludes. "We will use the other building a mile to the west of the main one. It's less likely to be seen as an infiltration point due to its closer proximity to the other buildings. There, Robin will hack the system to learn the whereabouts of our foes. Miss Martian, what's our ETA?"

"30 minutes."

"Good."

Salt Flats, CO| 13:21 July 25, 2010

Arriving at the scene, we sneak in as planned. Once inside, Robin hacks the system and gives us a clear view of what we're dealing with.

"So, now what?" I inquire, grimacing at the number of hostages. "Seems like he hasn't stopped production, and if anything, he's going to keep using the hostages to do his bidding."

"We'll split into pairs. Superboy with Kid Flash, Robin with me, and Miss Martian go with War Hawk. Robin and I will shut down the plant. Superboy and Kid will create a mass distraction to force the workers out of the facility. Miss Martian and War Hawk will be the ones to target the duo. Hopefully, due to Miss Martian's telepathic ability and War Hawk's resistance to it, they will overcome Psycho-Pirate's powers."

"Alright," I agreed. "Miss M, link us up."

"Of course," the green teen complies as she binds us telepathically together.

Miss Martian: Everyone's online.

Aqualad: Then move out.

Going in different directions, M'gann and I go to accomplish our set task. As Miss M and I move closer to the building holding Skull and his Psycho friend the green teen begins to speak.

"War Hawk, how are we going to take them down?"

"Simple. Once the workers are out of the line of fire, you will go into camouflage mode. I'll give you a series of smoke bombs to set off. This will rattle the two and obscure their vision. At that moment, I'll place a tiny yet powerful knockout gas near them. As they stumble around, we'll deliver the final blow."

"Okay!"

"Good, now let's fly to the upper level and enter through there. That will give us the perfect view when the others give us the cue to begin our attack."

Miss M nods her head in agreement. Quickly, we approach the building, but we never make it through with the plan. A series of explosions set off in the distance before a fire can be seen in the distance. Water quickly follows along with a voice in our mind.

Aqualad: War Hawk, Miss Martian! Kid and Superboy are in trouble. Asking for immediate assistance.

War Hawk: On our way!

Forgoing our plan, we rush to help our boys. When we arrive, we find Superboy under a pile of violent bodies, Kid Flash avoiding the mind-controlled workers with Aqualad in the background fighting Atomic Skull with Robin.

War Hawk: What a mess!

Robin: Not our fault!

Kid Flash: Hey, it wasn't my fault!

Superboy: Yeah, yeah, my bad. Now can someone help me out of here?

Miss Martian: On my way.

War Hawk: Where is Psycho-Pirate?

Aqualad: Considering how the workers continue to attack us, he must be nearby.

Miss Martain: I can try to do a mental scope-

Right then, M'gann hit the ground with a look of terror on her face. Nothing could stop what happened next. Slowly, as Psycho-Pirate walks forward with a canister of plutonium, his newfound minion recede. In a matter of seconds, the rest of the team goes down.

Even me.

I feel like lead. Heavy, slow, trapped. Like I can't escape. Escape? Escape from what? What am I running from? What's trapping me.

My problems. My home. My family?... Me?

Am I to blame for all of this?

If I was never born, maybe Katar would never be reminded of the man that nearly stole his lover. If I never existed, then John could've had an actual family. The two would never fight. My mom... she could be happy.

I'm to blame! If I was never born, this wouldn't be happening. My parents would be leading different lives, happy ones. I'm to blame for the fights! It's all my fault… Maybe it's better if I was never born.

Do my parents wish that? What if they do? What if...

...Wait... why am I to blame? I NEVER ASKED FOR THIS! I DIDN'T WANT THIS!

I DIDN'T!

"WAR HAWK! WAR HAWK, STOP!" Aqualad screams, shaking me. "IT'S OVER!"

Huh? It's over?

Looking around, I notice the looks of shock mixed in with fear from my teammates. The way KF leans on Robin as the hostages run away in fear. The plutonium is a few feet away from me, with a splatter of blood on the canister.

Blood?

I follow the trail of blood until I look beneath me. There laid Psycho-Pirate covered in blood. My hands were drenched in blood as they held on to the villain by the throat.

"Huh?"

"War," Aqualad whispers. "Let go."

I do as he says, allowing the beaten man to slip through my hands. Aqualad pulls me in and carries me away. He finds a restroom and places me on the counter. Gently, he cleans the blood from my body, never speaking.

"Aqualad?"

"Sh, it will be alright," He says, wiping the remaining blood from my face. "Robin is speaking with the police, Miss Martian is helping the hostages, while Kid and Superboy get the plutonium to its rightful place."

"Aqualad, I-"

"Am alright. Yes, you are."

"Kal, I-"

"Saved everyone. I thank you for your courage."

"Kaldur, I almost-"

"Won the day single-handedly. Yes, congratulations."

"Kaldur'ahm," I say softly, looking at the boy who refuses to meet my gaze until now. "I nearly killed a man today. I caused this-"

"No, It's not your fault. Do you understand? You had a terrible reaction to the Medusa Mask. Your Thanagarian half fought back, and an unforeseen circumstance occurred."

"Ar-are you coming up with an alibi for me? Kal-"

In a flash, the boy I love grabs holds of my face as he brings his forehead to mine. Carefully, as if to not break me, he holds me close as he whispers, "Speak not a word. I will handle everything. When we return to the cave, do not attend the meeting, Alizeh."

I merely nod, not being able to speak against the man before me.

An hour later, when the police received all of the information they needed, we left the crime scene to return to Mount Justice.

Upon arriving, I left the group as Aqualad ordered me. I return to the cliff where Aqualad found me before the mission as I lose myself in thought.

Third Person POV

"What happened," Batman inquired to the team. "How did a simple mission turn out like this." The older man states as he points to the screen where the nuclear plant is on fire before Aqualad doused it. "Capture the villains. Recover the plutonium. That's it."

"Batman, I understand the mission did not go as planned, but we were successful," Kaldur'ahm tries to add.

"Atomic Skull got away and Psycho-Pirate is in the hospital with wounds ranging in severity."

"Perhaps the battle did get away from us."

"To the point, your second in command is not attending the debrief?"

"...Yes."

"Talk."

Taking a deep breath, Aqualad does his best to explain the situation to Batman without making matters worse for Alizeh. "While infiltrating the facility, Kid Flash and Superboy were ordered to cause a distraction; however, it did not go as planned. Superboy accidentally started a fire, and Kid Flash was too busy trying to evacuate those he could to help settle the fire. Robin and I went to help when Atomic Skull used the fire against us to overwhelm us. Miss Martian and War Hawk were called in, and that's when everything went wrong. It seems Psycho-Pirate was still within the vicinity, so using the noise to cover himself, he employed the Medusa Mask at that moment. We were forced to feel our face our fears... I only came to once Psycho-Pirate was defeated along with the rest of the team."

"That doesn't explain how Psycho-Pirate received numerous life-threatening injuries."

"Well," Kid Flash tried to intercede. "I broke free when Psycho-Pirate was still employing the mask, so I should explain what happened next." Taking a deep breath, the boy winces as he takes a step forward. "War Hawk-"

"Saved the day," Aqualad finished. "She did what was necessary given the fight was a hundred to one."

The entire team stared at the Atlantean teen, but Kaldur'ahm simply kept eye contact with Batman. Never wavering, even when the older man approached him.

"The rest of you are dismissed."

As the team files out of the main hall, Batman waves the teen forward to follow him. Quietly, he leads the boy to another room used for private meetings. Batman motions for Kaldur'ahm to sit, but the teen refuses and remains standing. Batman nods in understanding as he sits down on the opposite chair from Aqualad. The older man leans forward with his elbows on his knees, staring at the boy in front of him. Gently, he begins the conversation anew.

"Aqualad, what happened out there?"

"War Hawk saved the day."

"Then why did you interrupt Kid Flash when he tried to explain the situation?"

"It was not necessary for him to speak."

"He didn't see it that way."

Kaldur'ahm didn't reply as he stared at the older man. Seeing this unusual behavior coming from the normally respectful Atlantean, Batman decided to use another topic to compel the teen into speaking.

"How did Kid Flash get hurt?"

"During the fight, he received a hit."

"Against?"

"Psycho-Pirate."

"How?"

"...I'm not sure."

"Alright, would War Hawk know?"

"NO!" Kaldur yells, but the moment he does, he understands his blunder. Tensing up, Kaldur becomes monotone when speaking to avoid any more mishaps. "I mean, no."

"Aqualad, it's obvious you are trying to cover up for someone, but you don't have to. We- I can help. I can understand if something went wrong, but I can only help if you explain what happened."

Feeling nervous, frustrated, and afraid, Kaldur finally gives in as he sits across from the dark knight. "War Hawk saved us. This is not a lie, but the manner she did so was beyond her control."

"What do you mean?"

"As you are aware, Thanagarians have a different effect when it comes to those with mental powers, and War Hawk is no exception. During the fight, War Hawk went into a rage, an unexpected side effect from her Thanagarian physiology and the powers of the Medusa Mask. Kid Flash was the first to break free from the Mask and attempted to stop her, but War Hawk kept attacking. She even assailed Kid, but only briefly! When I awoke, I stopped War Hawk. She never knew what she did until it was over."

"So, you are trying to protect her."

"Please, Batman, do not punish her! Don't tell anyone!"

"Aqualad, there is no need to be afraid. I'm not mad, and this is a team matter. No one outside of the team will know. This wasn't War Hawk's fault. However, I will have to speak to her about this."

"Wait, can I do so first."

"Fine, but make it quick."

Alizeh's POV

The crash of the waves. I hear them as they collide against the rocks on the side of Mount Justice. Water is a life source; it's beautiful and essential for most life. Yet, I'm afraid of it. The man I love needs it to live, but I can't stand it.

"Maybe I am the problem," I whisper to myself as I bring my feet in and cover myself with my wings. "Maybe I should have never been born."

"Then I would be melancholy in your absence."

Hearing his voice but unable to face the man it belongs to, I shroud myself in feathers to keep from his sight. Nevertheless, this does not deter him as he sits beside me.

"Before the mission, you asked me a question that I am now ready to answer. I would never wish to start a new life because it means leaving my old one behind. I have too many people that I hold dear to my heart to do that. The same will be said about you if you leave."

"That's not true and you know it. I'm nothing but a problem. I cause pain to those around me... I fear what keeps you alive, and I hurt those close to me. Maybe my people were right when they tried to kill me. I'm nothing more than a mutt."

"No, you are not," Kal disagrees. Gently but forcefully, Kaldur moves my wings from covering me as he pulls me in for an embrace. "Alizeh, you are my best friend in any world. You understand me in ways others can not, and I would be lost without you."

"But-"

"No," he whispers, holding me tighter. "I need you to know that no matter what life has for you, there is no need to run. Even if no one else wants you... I do."

No matter how much I try to hold back my tears, one does manage to fall. Slowly, I reciprocate the hug as I place my wings to surround the two of us.

"Thank you, Kaldur."

Secluded Location| 10:00 EST, July 27, 2010

After speaking to Batman about the Psycho-Pirate disaster, it was decided that I'm not to blame. Still, Batman suggested speaking to Canary due to the ongoing stress back home that could have indirectly caused the fight against the villains to end in the bloody matter it did. Hoping this will build my self-confidence and help manage my growing anger, I agreed to do so. Every week, twice a week, I'll meet with Black Canary at a location of my choosing for a therapy session. Thankfully, no one except Batman, Black Canary, and Kaldur'ahm know about this.

"Alizeh, are you ready to begin," Canary questions from her armchair.

"Yeah, I'm ready."

Third Person POV

Watch Tower| 10:00 UCT, July 27, 2010

Personal life should never mix in with work life. Similar to the concept of church and state. However, there are times one must bend the rules in order to help others. This is the driving factor for Batman as he looks for a particular member of the League. After some searching, he finds her with the only other female currently on the Watch Tower.

"Hawkwoman," Batman says, interrupting the conversation between the hawk and the amazon princess. "A word."

Hawkwoman agrees as she follows the man to another part of the tower. When the two arrive at Batman's personal study, he turns to face the woman with a serious look.

"Shayera, you need to stop the feud back home."

"Really, Bruce? This is why you decide to bother me? What happened to boundaries?"

"Trust me when I say this is not exactly what I want to do, but you've left me no other choice. You of all people should know how damaging it can be for a child to live in a terrible situation."

"I know," Shayera sneers. "Now, leave it be."

"I can't, not when Alizeh is-"

"DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW HOW UNHAPPY SHE IS! I'M TRYING, BUT THERE IS ONLY SO MUCH I CAN DO!"

"Shayera..."

"I'm trying, okay, but every time I try, it backfires. Katar says I'm always siding with John, and John says that I never allow him the chance to be a father. They both love her... but they're hurting Alizeh... Bruce, I'm so tired of the fights. I just want Alizeh to be happy. I just want my little eyas to smile."

Placing a hand on the woman's shoulder, Bruce removes his cowl. He knows how difficult this has been on the mother. Bruce is aware of how far Shayera will go for her daughter, but in the end, unless something changes, Alizeh might learn to resent her parents. Both human and Thanagarian.
