Jack saw it was Miller calling him, "Dean, you just saw me earlier and I have a sleeping baby on my chest, what do you need?" he asked when he picked up the phone and answered it. "Um, I need you to come to get me from Grey Sloan," Dean said. "Wait, why Grey Sloan? Are you okay?" he asked. "Um, I have a broken right arm that's going to need surgery eventually but Ortho said I could wait and totaled my car, and Vic and Montgomery won't answer their phones and I didn't even attempt Maya's because she's probably busy," Dean said.

"Hold on, so you wrecked your car? How in the hell can you do that and did you even try and call Ben?" he asked, now pacing slightly back and forth in front of the couch. "Ben's not answering either, I tried. 2 times and I tried Vic and Montgomery both 3 times, and you're the only one that's answered," Dean said. "Andy's asleep upstairs, and I have Rowan on my chest. And Greyson's playing in his playroom, If I take both the kids with me, Andy's going to wake up wondering where they both are," he said.

"Or you can just wake her up and tell her that you have to come to get me, I need to go relieve Vic of Pru," Dean said. Jack heard Andy coming down the stairs. "Hold on, I'm muting you for like a minute," he said. He walked into the kitchen, sat the phone on the kitchen counter, and put it on speaker and mute. "Hey babe, what's wrong?" she asked, once she got into the kitchen. "I need to go get Dean, from Grey Sloan," he said. "Why, what happened?" she asked, rubbing her hands on Greyson's head, who was now at her leg. "He got in a wreck, he's at Sloan right now with a broken right arm and a totaled car, and Vic, Montgomery, and Warren all won't answer their phones and he didn't even attempt Maya because she doesn't like being bothered when she's in the middle of something, and I think we all have learned that by now that she doesn't like being bothered," he said. "Typical Maya, you could've gone and got him when I was still asleep," she said.

"That's the thing, I was scared if I took both the kids you would wake up and wonder where I went with them," he said. "Jack, baby you know I wouldn't wonder, you are their father. Why do you think I trusted you when I married you and when you became a father for the first time to Greyson," she said, looking down at Greyson, who was a spitting image of his father when he was younger. "I should have gone and got Dean when you were still asleep. Might go now and take little man with me," he said. "Ok, let me take her, has she eaten?" she asked, as she was helping Jack undo the wrap from around him. "She ate an hour ago and has been asleep ever since," he said. He finally unmuted the phone after leaving Dean on hold for 5 minutes. "Dean, you still there?" he asked. "Yeah, still here, Dr. Lincoln had to adjust my bandaging because it was starting to get tight for my arm," he said.

"Hey, I'm coming your way, give me 15 minutes," he said. "Ok, you have to come in through the ER to get me, because that's where I still am," he said. "Ok," he said. He hung up the phone and put it back on the kitchen counter. "Well, now I have to go change my shirt since Rowan spit up on me earlier," he said. He ran upstairs. He took off his shirt and threw it in the laundry basket and grabbed a clean one out of his and Andy's closet. He was debating on changing his pants into something more casual, but it was just sweatpants and he usually wore them around the house. He knew he had to get Greyson buckled into his seat in the car and drive off towards Grey Sloan before the traffic hits. He walked back downstairs and slipped his shoes on with no socks.

Greyson was now in the living room playing with his toys. Greyson looked at Jack with a look when he put his shoes on. "Bye-bye?" Greyson said. "Come on buddy, your coming with me," Jack said, holding out his hand. He waddled towards Jack and took his hand. Greyson was still a little wobbly when he was walking by himself, but he had it almost down. Jack took the car keys out of the bowl sitting by the door and opened the door and walked out. Greyson held onto Jack's hand as tight as he could. He unlocked the car and lifted Greyson so he could buckle him into his car seat. Greyson was strapped in and giggling when Jack tickled him. Jack got in himself, started the car, backed out of the driveway, and began the 15-minute drive to Grey Sloan. The traffic wasn't bad, but it would be once he got off the freeway because he was going to take the backway that Dean had shown him to get to his house. He finally got off the freeway after what seemed like 45 minutes, but it was only 30 minutes He turned onto the street that led him to Grey Sloan's ER parking and drop off.

He parked in the ER parking lot a few short minutes later. He hopped out and got Greyson out of his car seat and started to walk inside. Meredith was the first one to spot him. "Jack, what are you doing here?" she asked. "Dean called me and asked me to come to get him, do you know where he is?" he asked. "The last thing I knew was that he was going to the restroom, but haven't seen him since," she said. "How long ago was that?" he asked. "Maybe 5 minutes before you got here," she said. "I'm going to check on him, do you mind watching him?" he asked. "I don't mind, have free time anyway," she said. He handed her Greyson. He walked towards the nearby bathroom and walked in. "Dean, you here man?" he said, checking every stall. He finally reached the last stall when he saw a pair of legs on the floor in the bigger stall. The door was unlocked, so he pushed it open a little and saw Dean laying there, unconscious.

Jack cursed under his breath a little and walked out to go get Meredith. "Grey, he's collapsed in the bathroom," he said. "Damn it, he said he was fine but the injury must be something internal because from what I heard, the truck rammed into Miller pretty damn hard," she said. "All he told me was that he wrecked his car and totaled it, nothing more," he said, taking Greyson out of her hands. "Schmitt! With me," she said to Schmitt, who was walking away from them. Schmitt walked back towards Meredith and Jack. "With you where?" Schmitt asked. "Just follow Jack," she said. Jack lead them back to where he found Dean in the bathroom.

He opened the door and let Meredith and Schmitt in first. Meredith got down onto her hands and knees so she could evaluate Miller more. "We need to get him out of the stall so we have more room to work with," she said. The stall was indeed cramped, and it was the biggest one there in the bathroom. Jack knew everyone was going to need to know what happened soon. He stepped out of the bathroom and walked to a quiet area, where there was no one. He knew he could do nothing to help since he had Greyson so the only thing he could do was call the others and tell them what was going on. He knew Andy was wondering what was taking him so long, so he figured to call her first. Andy was making herself a sandwich when she heard her phone ringing from the charger. Rowan was in her swing, fast asleep.

She pulled her phone off the charger and answered it. "Hey, you on your way home?" she

asked, putting her phone on speaker so she could finish making her sandwich. "Well, I'm going to be here at Grey-Sloan awhile," he said. "Why?" she asked, spreading the mayonnaise around on the piece of bread. "I found Dean in the bathroom, unconscious. Grey is evaluating him right now and I'm in a quiet area with Greyson," he said. "Do you want me to come to the hospital?" she asked. "No, you're 2 days postpartum and I know you don't want to risk Rowan getting something," he said. "Look babe, you know Rowan is bound to get something eventually and maybe you are right, I did overdo it a little when everyone came over today. You getting ready to call the others?" she asked. "You're the first one that I've called, I figured I would call you first so you wouldn't wonder what was taking me forever," he said. "Jack, you know I'll always love you. And you are right, I would be worried about you," she said.

"Are you feeling any better?" he asked. "Better than I was, not as sore as I was. Rowan's in

her swing knocked out and I'm making me a sandwich since I got hungry a little," she said. "You know Carina gave you some sort of medicine if you're in pain from your C-section," he said. That was the one thing they didn't tell everyone, they didn't tell anyone that Andy had to have a C-section due to Rowan being stuck, but thankfully she came out uninjured. That was the only thing that everyone didn't suspect. "I will here before too long, this is the first time I've taken it though," she said. "Just don't forget, I better call the others to get here before I get an update, I love you," he said. "Love you too, be careful coming home," she said.

Jack walked down the corridor towards the secluded waiting room area, which was now quiet. He called everyone one by one, even Vic; who had Pru. They all had shockingly answered their phones and were on their way. He had told them that he would tell them everything that happened when they got there. Greyson was now asleep in his arms, but his arms got sore so he laid him on one of the couches that were sitting in the waiting room. He sat down himself, as he waited for the others. He checked the time on his phone and it was rolling up onto 5:00. He had been at the hospital for an hour now. And he's been waiting for 30 minutes for an update on Dean. He waited another 5 minutes when he saw Travis and Warren walking in together.

"I know Miller called me earlier but I missed it," Warren said. "But what happened exactly?" Travis asked. "He called me asking me to come to get him because he had totaled his car and fractured his right arm, which will require surgery eventually but the orthopedic surgeon said he didn't need surgery right away," Jack said. "And he called all of us first and we never answered," Ben said. "Exactly, and so I decided to take Greyson here with me because we were going to stop at the grocery store to get something for Andy. And I arrived here and I didn't see Miller anywhere in sight and so I asked Dr. Grey, and she said he was in the bathroom the last time she knew. And I walked to the bathroom and that's when I found him, unconscious in the bathroom stall," Jack said.

"How long have you been waiting?" Travis asked. "I've been waiting 30 minutes already, Maya and Vic, and Pru is the only ones we're waiting on," Jack said. "What about Andy?" Ben said. "There's one thing we haven't told you, Andy had to get a C-section. Rowan ended up getting stuck, so we both decided on a C-section. The safer way of getting Rowan out," he added. "I never suspected anything out of Andy, it didn't even look like she got one to me," Travis said. "This stays been us 3, don't tell Maya or Vic," he said. "Ok, we won't," they both said in unison. Another 25 minutes went by and Maya was walking in, Vic behind her with Pru. Jack went over what happened again with Maya and Vic and they all took a chair and waited. Greyson and Pru had fallen asleep, Greyson being asleep the longest. They felt like they were there forever. And they were.

Meredith had finally walked out after a little over two hours of waiting. She talked with them for a few minutes and told them that Miller had "significant bruising" on his stomach. He had a spleen that was on the verge of rupturing, a small tear in his aorta, and a bruised liver. Miller had been battered and would take a hell of a lot of time to heal with his broken arm. Hell, Gibson was worse off than he was with a broken leg and arm 3 years ago, when he and Andy first got together. And since then, he has been more careful with fires; but he couldn't fight fires again for another month because of his paternity leave.

He wanted to get back so badly, but he had to wait until May 30th to go back. He didn't know when Andy was allowed back, due to her c-section and everything. They were planning to add another child later on down the road, but not right away after Rowan turned one, they would wait until a month after to start trying for #3. And that's where they would stop. 3 kids. That was enough for them. Their house had 5 bedrooms, the fifth bedroom being a guest room. They were now going to have to find a fill-in for Dean while he spent his time in the hospital and recovering from his injuries.

Jack left with the sleeping Greyson after getting the news because it was getting closer to Greyson's bedtime. When he pulled into the driveway, he saw a light on in the living room so that told him that was Andy was up waiting for him. He carried in the sleeping Greyson inside and to his room upstairs before talking to Andy. When Greyson was resting comfortably; he stifled a yawn himself and walked back downstairs and sat next to Andy; Rowan was not that far away in her swing sleeping peacefully. "You need to get to bed babe; it's late," Andy said, leaning her head on his shoulder. "I will when I get there. But I am mighty comfortable right here for now," he said, yawning.

"Haha very funny, get to bed mister," she chuckled. "Ok ok, fine," he said. He walked upstairs, and once his head hit the pillow. He was out. Andy followed 5 minutes later, with Rowan in her arms. A couple of weeks had passed, Dean was recovering comfortably at home. Jack was due back at work that next week. Andy was not due back until that next month. Greyson was going to be 2 in a short few months. Rowan was almost a month old. And after a month, of chaos; everyone was now back at work.

Jack and Andy were walking in the door after their shift, both trying to stifle a yawn. Jess was still with Jack and Andy; ever since Greyson was 4 months old. And she loved Greyson and Rowan. And she felt a part of the family. Jack was the first one up in the station this morning. And everyone else followed, shortly after him. He was used to getting up at 5:30 in the morning since he had 2 kids. Even Andy was. They were thinking about expanding their family at least one more time before they were done.

And, they still had space. They could just share a room with Rowan since her room was the biggest. Everyone was a big and happy family. And nothing would bring them down. Months went on, and fall time was here. And the only person that got sick in the fall was Jack. Fall time was always in the low 40's to the mid-'50s.

And everyone called it cold; except for Carina since she was from Italy. It was the 29th of September, and Jack had a cough he couldn't shake. His nose was stuffy and even runny. And this massive headache that he was not a fan of. He heard Andy rustling around downstairs with Rowan, who was now 5 months old, and Greyson who was turning 2 in under 2 months. Jack always hated this time of year, because he always would get sick. And still does.

He swore he heard the front door opening, which was signaling that they were leaving. Jack hated that he couldn't help Andy with the kids, because he knew Greyson could be a handful sometimes. If he tried to take a shower, the lights wouldn't help his headache at all; they would just make it worse. But he would do it anyway. He groaned at the fact that he had to get out of bed. He threw off his covers and started to shiver since he was cold. And he stood up too fast, he got a wave of dizziness. He stumbled to the bathroom, and shut the door, and forgot to lock it. He saw black dots forming around his eyes, his chest was getting tighter. His head was pounding to where he could hear his heartbeat.

He was shivering. He was running a fever. His hair was ruffled. And that was the last thing he remembered before he collapsed to a heap on the cold and hard floor in the bathroom.
