After classes, Edelgard goes to Team RWBY's room to take the girls to the training session, but discovers them preparing to do... "Extracurricular activities" instead.

Edelgard was in the classroom, finishing with the papers of the students. Today's class felt slower than usual, and she noticed some weird behavior out of the members of RWBY. No problem, she would discuss it with them during their training.

Finishing with her part, she left the classroom and went to RWBY's room to bring the girls in, but when she arrived there she found Ruby dragging Weiss out of there while the girl kept saying "But. But. But"-

"May I ask what is going on here?" - she said, with a look that froze both girls in place.

"Oh, hi miss Edelgard, we were just... Uhm... Going out?" - Ruby said, stuttering as she got caught off guard.

"Going out? While dragging Weiss from the shirt?" -

"It's not what you think, I promise" -

"Ruby shut up! You're making it worse" -

Suddenly, the door of the room opened, showing inside Yang and Blake with two boys, one of which had a monkey tail in the lower part of his back. He must be a Faunus, like Blake is.

"And who exactly are this gentlemen?" - she asked while keeping her 'scary' look.

"My name is Sun, Blake's friend" - the boy with blonde hair and a monkey tail came forth and introduced himself - "We were just talking about going out to eat, y'know, nothing weird" -

"I can see you have something planned after you leave, do not think I was born yesterday. Ruby, if you're going to skip the trainings for today, you better have a good excuse for it" -

"Amm, well, we..." -

"It's my fault miss Edelgard" - Blake jumped - "I thought that the White Fang was too much for the police and Huntsman of Vale to handle so I..." -

"Decided to put everyone in danger?" -

"I just thought..." -

Edelgard just stayed silently looking at Blake. Ozpin had told her about a terrorist group known as White Fang during her first days at Beacon, and she knew that they were dangerous, a lot more than what students like hers could handle.

"If you insist on putting the lives of your friends on the line, then I'm going with you. I'm going to make sure none of you die" -

"Miss Edelgard? Are you serious?" - Ruby asked, finally letting Weiss go.

"Yes. Believe it or not, I grew fond of you 4, and I'm not going to allow someone to kill you" -

"Blake and I are going to one of the White Fang's meetings, you can join us if you want" - Sun said, with a smile on his face.

"It's settled then, I'll go with both of you" -

With that, Edelgard, Blake and Sun left Beacon and went to the location of the meeting. After arriving, they decided to wait until night time in a cafe that was close and then, they entered.

Using Grimm Masks to cover their identity, they witnessed a 'presentation' if you could call it one, given by a man wearing a fancy suit and a black hat.

"Just by seeing him, I can tell he's scum" - Edelgard said, looking at him while he talked.

"Torchwick. He's the worst of the worst here at Beacon" - Blake said.

As Torchwick continued talking, Edelgard noticed a small girl next to him. With just a look, she could tell she was dangerous and needed to be dealt with.

"Wait, what's he doing?" - Sun said, as Torchwick pulled down the black curtain behind him to reveal a giant suit made out of metal.

"This bad boy" - Roman said as he put his hand on the thing - "Is one of Atlas' new toys, the Atlesian Paladin-290. Thanks to one of my 'employers', I managed to get my hands on a few of them before they... Hit the shelves" -

Edelgard stayed watching that thing. She had no previous knowledge of something like that, and Ozpin didn't tell her of anything similar.

All members of the White Fang there started to cheer and clap their hands to Torchwick, making Sun nervous of what could happen.

"Let's just go and tell the others" - he said as he tried to make his way out of there.

"What are you doing? We need to get as much info as we can" - Blake tried to stop him, but the struggle got the attention of Torchwick, who centered his view on both of them.

"He sees us!" -

"He can't if there aren't lights!" -

Using her weapon, Blake shot the lights in the ceiling, blinding everyone and allowing them to escape through one of the windows.

"This is bad this is bad this is bad" - Sun kept repeating the same words - "We need to warn everyone!" -

After he finished saying that, the Paladin burst through the walls of the meeting place, joined by several of the White Fang's members.

Blake and Sun prepared to fight, but Edelgard stepped in to protect them.

"Listen to me. Contact the rest of them and inform them of what's happening. I'll deal with them" -

For the first time in Remnant, Edelgard would use the power of her Twin Crest in a battle.

The soldiers opened fire against her, but her body proved to be unharmed by these attacks.

Other two soldiers tried to go melee against her, but she effortlessly battered them aside with her hands.

With increíble speed, she blitzed the remaining members, defeating all of them and even killing some before turning her eyes towards the Paladin.

"I thought I'd need more power to deal with them, but it looks like they're weaker than even regular soldiers back in Fódlan. Dealing with you is of no problem to me" -

"Jajaja, this will be the perfect chance to test this bad boy for the first time!" - Torchwick said from the inside of the machine.

From behind her, Blake and Sun stepped forward, letting her know what they would fight besides her.

"I already informed the rest of them, we can help you" - Blake said.

"If you so desire, I won't stop you. Now, help me take down this so called 'Paladin" -
