Peyton Sawyer has a complicated relationship with Tree Hill. Her internship is only for a few months, but whether she can admit it or not, she won't be coming back at the end of the summer. Peyton POV of the day she leaves for LA.

Lucas Scott was far too liberal with the word 'forever', and after hearing him say it to someone else, it didn't mean quite as much when he said it to you. What could have happened if Peyton hadn't been so quick to take him back after Lindsey called off the wedding, with a focus on Peyton being more empowered. Mainly a Brooke POV, with a very brief Peyton POV intro.

It has been an incredibly long time since I published anything, and by the 'mature' content of this oneshot, it's clear I've grown up a bit haha.
