-Episode 3: Frosty the Hidden-
Chris was sitting on one of the couches near the fireplace in the common area, holding a mug of hot chocolate. "Last time on Total Drama Snowscapes..." he began the recap the last episode, with footage of both teams pulling their sleighs starting it off. "The campers that we had now met were divided up into teams, dubbed the Polar Pythons and the Frozen Felines, captained by Raphael and Van respectively. Of course, they're the strong ones, so I had them sit out of the challenge and made everyone else pull them on a sleigh! As they twisted and turned up on the way to the resort, they had to deal with the slippery ground and water sprayed at them thanks to our interns! In the end, the line on the Felines' rope snapped, which let the Pythons take the first win of the season! Due to just not being very helpful and being just plain creepy, the Felines said goodbye to Biff! Yeah, kinda saw that one coming. Will the Felines take a win with their dead weight gone, or will Raphael lead the Pythons to victory again? Find out right here, on Total, Drama, Snowscapes!"
Intro:
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine
The title sequence began with cameras popping out of random places covered in snow, one of them popping out of a tree and facing toward the ground, completely useless. Chris was standing in front of the snow lodge, one hand raised towards it and the other on his hip. As the camera zoomed past him and into the lodge, Chris dove out of the way.
You guys are on my mind
Katelyn was filing her nails at the lodge bar, having a disinterested look on her face while Preston sat next to her and watched, holding all of the beauty supplies on his lap. Sienna was waiting for her turn to use them, and when she opened her mouth to say something, Katelyn glared at her to shut her up.
You asked me what I wanted to be, and now I think the answer is plain to see
Further into the common area, Mathias was counting each of the breaks that made up the fireplace out loud while Roxanne was chilling on one of the chairs just listening to her music, with Foxtrot sitting near her to listen in. His counting was getting annoying, so Roxanne turned up her volume, which then annoyed Mathias.
I wanna be famous~
Chef was walking out of the kitchen towards the common area where the others were sitting, with a tray of cookies in his hands. He heard the loud music and frowned, although Sharon zipped by him and snatched a cookie off the tray while he was standing still. Mario tries to take one as well, although Chef moves the tray away from him.
I wanna live close the sun
Going into the dining hall that Chef had just come from, Ralph was showing a card trick to an unamused Grecia, then pulled a card out of her ear seemingly out of nowhere. Miriam was watching the trick, and smirked as she pointed at the card in his sleeve and ruined the trick.
So pack your bags 'cuz I've already won
Outside of the lodge, Hedrick was sitting behind a bush and watching a trap he set up in the snow to catch something. Lucas was unfortunate enough to walk into it, which snatched him up with a rope net and held him from a tree. Hedrick rolled his eyes while Lucas began to yell at him.
Everything to prove nothing in my way, I'll get there one day
Raphael and Keith arrived at the lodge after a long run, with both of the boys fairly tired. They both gave each other a fist bump out of respect, although Raphael quickly noticed Lucas in the trap and rushed to help him.
'Cuz I wanna be famous~
Destiny was sitting by herself at the top of a hill making a snowman, although it nearly got knocked over by Van's snowboard as she and Lola ran by to ride down the hill.
Nanananana, nanananana nananana
Lola and Van rode side by side down the snowy hill, soon catching up to Cynthia, who gave the two of them a polite wave. Lola waved back, which made her lose her balance and begin tumbling down the hill.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Biff was skiing further down the hill, and he was soon crashed into from behind by Lola, and the two of them now snowballed all the way down to the bottom two rocks of the hill, which made the snowball they had built from tumbling down burst, throwing both snow and dollar bills from Biff at the screen.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
The snowball burst on the screen melted away and transitioned to a bonfire outside the lodge in the Elimination Peak, where Chef was handing out hot chocolate to everyone. As the cast whistled the final bits of the song, everyone including Chris raised their cups with a smile, while the shot zoomed out a little bit to show the name of the season on a wooden sign.
In the girls' room for the Frozen Felines, most of the girls were in surprisingly good spirits despite their loss yesterday. "Good morning everyone!" Lola greeted her team as she climbed out of bed, quickly changing into her pink hoodie and white thermal pants, as did the rest of the girls.
"Morning Lola, you're pretty chipper already. We just lost yesterday." Destiny greeted Lola, looking at her with a blank expression.
Lola nodded her head, fixing up her hair a little after getting her hoodie on. "I mean, are we really gonna be doing ourselves a favor by being sad over it? By the way, these hoodies are sooooo cute, but why is our mascot a cat? Don't cats get really cold in the snow?" Lola asked, looking at their team logo on the front of her hoodie.
Roxanne already had her earbuds in when she got out of bed, although she overheard Lola's question before she turned up the volume. She pointed at the cat on the hoodie, then held up a few strands of her own hair. "Ohhhh right, their fur keeps them warm. Didn't think it was that much, but that makes sense." Lola guessed.
Roxanne nodded, glad Lola understood. "Maybe Chris meant for it to be a snow leopard. That would work I suppose." Destiny put in her guess, then just walked away and left the room.
Van stretched after getting out of bed, then waved to the other girls. "Y'all ready for us to win the challenge today?" Van asked them, sounding optimistic.
Cynthia nodded her head, leaning against up the wall of the room. "Of course, but try not to stress yourself too much over it okay? You're more likely to mess up when you do that." Cynthia advised, speaking softly.
Grecia climbed off her bunk, then put on her glasses, looking up at the rest of the girls with unamused eyes. "Ackthually, it wouldn't be the most benethicial for uth to take our thocus off the challenge, purpothfully distracting yourselth is far more likely to just cost uth the challenge." Grecia stated, then put on her hoodie, although it was still a size too big for her.
Cynthia sighed, looking down at Grecia. "If you want to look at it that way sure, but I was just trying to keep our spirits up. If you wish to fully focus, then feel free to do so. Whatever works best for you." Cynthia replied politely.
Van nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'm giving it my all today, assuming Chris doesn't just bench me again, that was super annoying last time. Fool better not do it again." Van crossed her arms, then began to walk to the door.
Grecia followed behind Van, although not before grabbing her notebook off her bunk. "Highly unlikely that he would leave the captainth out again. Unleth the captain role is quite literally only a commendatory pothition, then you thall be thine." Grecia told Van as the two of them left to get breakfast.
Roxanne was nodding her head to the beat of the song she was listening to, now leaning on the wall near the door. "Oh, what song are you listening to?" Cynthia asked, walking up to Roxanne.
Roxanne had completely tuned out her surroundings though, just enjoying whatever song she was listening to in order to get her morning going. "Right, I'll just leave you to that. I hope you enjoy your song." Cynthia said even though Roxanne couldn't hear her, then walked out the bedroom.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Cynthia
Cynthia had a soft smile on her face, sitting with her hands on her lap. "I am pleased that Biff departed us last night, as the rest of our team is filled with wonderful people. They all have their own quirks, but that just makes them that more special. I do hope Roxanne pays attention more though, some may see it as a liability if she does this during challenges."
Confessional Over
Over in the guys' room for the Felines, Hedrick had woken up in a bitter mood, and it was only made worse when he was faced with Mathias counting something on his face. "What the heck are you doing?" Hedrick asked, pushing Mathias away from him.
Mathias backed up, looking offended almost. "I was just counting how many times your eyelids moved in your sleep. It seemed like a fun way to pass the morning. Speaking of which, it is 10:02, I should count myself in for some breakfast." Mathias answered, then just walked right out of their room.
Hedrick rubbed his eyes, appalled by Mathias's behavior. "That was probably the most polite way to see he just watched me in my sleep. What the heck is up with this place?" Hedrick stated the obvious, then began to change into his normal clothes.
Foxtrot was sitting on his bed, just humming to himself as Mathias left. "Um... he's just kinda... weird. He was there for a while." Foxtrot replied, his voice a bit quiet.
Hedrick rolled his eyes and stood up. "And you didn't tell him to back off? Ugh. You better put in work in the challenge today, because I'm already fed up with some of you weirdos." Hedrick told him coldly.
"Weirdos? I'm sorry, I didn't mean to act weird. I just... don't talk a bunch to people." Foxtrot apologized sheepishly, standing up as well.
"And that's half our team! So you better do well if you want to stay in the game." Hedrick reminded him, then marched out of the room to go get breakfast.
Foxtrot blinked a couple times, a little shaken by Hedrick's words. "Umm... alrighty then..." Foxtrot said to himself, then left the room.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Hedrick
Hedrick sat with his arms crossed, having a look of determination on at the moment. "I know it's early, but I'm not about to let our team become the weak one. Destiny, Roxanne, Foxtrot, and Cynthia, they're all a bunch of quiet kids. I've yet to hear a word from Roxanne even. Sure it means we have some easy vote fodder, but it also means they're dead weight in challenges. At least Mathias is contributing something, even if it is his stupid counting. Point is, we're screwed."
Confessional Over
Over in the common area, the Pythons were having breakfast together by the fireplace since they had won the last challenge. Keith took a bite of a waffle that was sitting on the plate on his lap, then let out a pleased hum. "Ah, this is nice. I thought the food would be bad, if they would even do that, but warm food by the warm fire is a great combo." Keith commented.
Miriam elbowed Keith, then pointed to the dining table in the kitchen where Chef was preparing breakfast for the Felines. It looked kinda like oatmeal, but more resembling sewage than actual food. "Wouldn't hold your breath on that one, looks like we only got the good stuff for winning." Miriam pointed out.
Keith looked away from the grotesque meal Chef was whipping up and just took another bite of his waffles. "It's more incentive to win at least!" Sienna tried to lighten the mood, nearly done with her waffles.
Katelyn nodded in agreement, waiting for Preston to finish preparing her breakfast. He was chopping up the waffles into 6 slices, spreading out the butter, and pouring the syrup all for Katelyn. "We sooo can't lose today then. Because I am not gonna be eating gross 'food' like that." Katelyn added, nearly gagging when she looked to the kitchen.
Ralph drew a card, gaining a smile on his face. "Queen of diamonds, I like our chances today! Although we just have to make sure no one ends up alone during the challenge." Ralph stated.
"You're still using cards to decide how things are gonna go? I guess if it says things are gonna go well, I like it!" Miriam commented, giving Ralph a thumbs up.
Lucas rolled his eyes, then swallowing his piece of waffle to speak. "I think it's pretty stupid. You're just asking for trouble letting cards decide for you instead of just using common sense." Lucas disagreed, then took another bite.
Mario was putting ketchup on his waffles, much to the disgust of Katelyn. "Itsa risk that comes with the cards, maybe we win, maybe we don't." Mario tried to reason.
"But the cards don't affect anything! Why even bother saying we'll win when it's not guaranteed?" Lucas argued.
Raphael just finished his waffles, then looked over at the group talking. "We say we'll win because we know we'll win. We have the numbers advantage on the enemy now, so victory will only be easier going forward!" Raphael declared.
Sharon pumped a fist in the air with her free hand. "Heck yeah! Hopefully we get an even more extreme challenge today too! That way we can kick their butts!" Sharon exclaimed in agreement.
"ATTENTION ALL VACATIONERS! It's challenge time! Meet me outside the lodge so we can get started!" Chris announced, using a megaphone to reach the teens inside the lodge.
This was when the Felines began to arrive in the common area, and Van grumbled that Chris was calling them immediately. "We didn't even get time for breakfast. Man, that's wack." Van complained.
Destiny peered into the kitchen, wincing at what she saw. "Likely for the best. Let's just go." Destiny told Van, then walked to the main entrance of the lodge to exit through.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Lucas
Lucas let out a long sigh, resting his head on his palms. "I'm on a team of nutjobs. Preston is the most normal one here, and he's got a wackjob sister. Ralph thinks we'll just win if we follow his card crap, and Raphael is already getting on my nerves with his drill sergeant talk. Would it be lame if I just quit and saved myself the headache?"
Confessional Over
Out in the front of the lodge, both teams stepped outside to gather in front of Chris. Katelyn smirked as she looked at the Felines, then elbowed Preston. "Looks like they got rid of the rich perv. Saw that one coming." Katelyn whispered to him.
Chris was drinking his coffee, while Flaky was right next to him with a pot of coffee to pour whenever he needed. "Greetings teams, are you ready for some snow-tastic fun?" Chris greeted them.
"I don't like that sound of that coming from you." Miriam remarked immediately, crossing her arms.
"Why not? Snow-tastic fun sounds fun! I mean, he did say it was fun! So yeah, sounds fun." Lola was much more optimistic, looking at Chris intently to hear what they'd be doing.
Chris took another sip of his coffee, then let out a pleased sigh that could be seen through the steam in the air. "What does every kid rush to do when it snows?" Chris asked out of nowhere.
Sienna raised a hand. "Snow angels right? Or maybe snowmen, both are cool!" she answered.
Grecia shook her head, then raised a finger. "Ackshually, ith more likely a kid would ruth to the door, before being thopped by their parents and being thorced to wear winther clothing. The changing process would be thomewhat time conthuming, so that's the first activity that would occur." Grecia explained.
Chris blinked his eyes a couple times, not sure how to respond to that. He just looked back to Sienna and ignored Grecia. "Yeah, pretty close! Today, you guys will be making snowmen for the lodge! This place didn't really come with a ton of decorations, so having some would really spice the lodge up!" Chris announced what the challenge was, which didn't sound too bad to the teams.
Keith looked around, then scratched his head. "Uhh, we just have snow around here. What are we going to make them with? Just snow?" Keith asked.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Keith
Keith facepalmed, realizing his mistake. "I probably shouldn't have asked that."
Confessional Over
"No Keith, there's plenty more to it!" Chris answered, now getting to the "fun" part. "You'll need coal for the eyes and buttons, which you can find in the caves just north of here. You'll need a carrot, two of which are hidden in Chef's kitchen! The rest is up to you, but you'll need those!" Chris stated what they needed, with the scene briefly flashing to a cave entrance further up the mountain.
Foxtrot gulped, raising a hand meekly. "Do we all have to go to that cave?" Foxtrot asked nervously.
Chris shook his head. "Nope, how you use your time is up to you! Chef and I will be judging your snowmen this evening, so have fun!" Chris answered, then pulled an airhorn out.
Chris blew the airhorn, then walked towards the lodge. "Get building!" Chris started the challenge as he left.
Raphael right away clapped his hands to get the Pythons' attention. "Listen up troops! We're going to break off into groups to take care of each task!" Raphael began to order.
Katelyn hugged Preston's arm as soon as Raphael said this. "Can I be in Prestie's group? We work really well together!" Katelyn requested.
Raphael nodded his head. "Of course. You two are siblings, you obviously work well. You'll go get the nose from Chef's kitchen." Raphael instructed them, pointing to the lodge.
The twins began to walk to the lodge, and Katelyn leaned over to Preston. "You'll go get the nose. As if I'm going to strain my muscles doing that." Katelyn whispered to him.
"Yes Katelyn." Preston whispered back, not having a problem whatsoever.
Raphael looked at the rest of the members of his team, thinking of pairs for a moment. "Sharon, Keith, you too handle the coals since you're the strong ones. Lucy, Sienna, Ralph, Mario, the four of you will make the body itself!" Raphael ordered them.
"You got it bro." Keith replied right away.
Sharon let out an excited cheer, running to the forest that went up north towards the cave. "C'mon Keith! We've got some coals to get! Then we'll slide all the way back down!" Sharon called to him.
Keith raised an eyebrow as he jogged after her. "Wouldn't it be easier if we just walked with the coals down? We have until the evening." Keith pointed out.
Sharon gave a thumbs down to that idea. "No way! Sliding down is way more extreme! Now come on!" Sharon turned down the idea, and the two soon disappeared into the woods.
Miriam crossed her arms, then looked up at Raphael. "So what are we doing then huh? You aren't gonna make me wrestle a bear or something right?" Miriam asked in half-jest.
"We'll just gather sticks and stones in the woods for the snowman. Let's get going." Raphael answered, starting a march towards the woods.
As he and Miriam walked away, Raphael looked to the four on snowmen duty. "Make sure the snowman is big! A bigger snowman, the more intimidating it looks!" Raphael ordered.
Mario turned to Sienna. "I am not uh the most familiar with snowmen, but they aren't supposed to be intimidating here are they? Unless they contain enemies of course." Mario asked.
Sienna shook her head. "No, so I think we'll leave making this guy up to Builder Sienna!" Sienna declared, pointing at herself.
"Builder Sienna? Oh please don't be another weird gimmick..." Lucas muttered worriedly.
Ralph pulled a card, frowning at it before putting it back in his pocket. "Builder Sienna sounds good to me, not that I care much." Ralph replied, a bit deadpan.
Sienna heard Lucas, so she gave him a wave of dismissal. "I don't know what you mean by gimmick, but it's just a fun little nickname for whenever I get crafty! Arts and crafts crafty, not the bad one." Sienna told him.
Mario scratched his head for a moment, waiting for instructions. "Sooo... what are we going to do Builder Sienna?" Mario asked.
Sienna pointed at the three of them. "You'll each make a big snowball for his body and head! Lucy, you can do the smallest one for the head, and you two just make snowballs about the size of... exercise balls! Yeah, that's a good estimate!" Sienna instructed.
Mario nodded and did as told right away, starting to roll up snow on the ground, as did Ralph. "So basic snowman stuff? Aren't you going to help then?" Lucas asked.
"I'm the construction leader here! I'll just make sure that everything fits together." Sienna answered. Lucas narrowed his eyes at her, before just doing as instructed and began to roll up his snowball.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Sienna
Sienna giggled for a moment. "Okay, I might be a little lazy. I'm not proud of it, but it's easier if I just take the creative leader role. It's my kind of thing honestly! Once we finish our snowman, it'll all be justified!"
Confessional Over
Van was looking over her teammates, although half of them barely even looked eager to do the challenge. "Hey, chin up team! This ain't gonna be tough if we just actually give a crap." Van tried to motivate the others.
Hedrick scoffed. "Yeah, easier said than done for some." he remarked, looking over at Roxanne sitting on the ground listening to her music and Mathias counting snowflakes on the ground.
Van facepalmed, looking at the two of them. "Ugh, Hedrick, I'm gonna need your help keeping the team actually motivated. We can't afford another loss so soon." Van requested from him.
Lola stepped up to the two of them with a smile. "I can help too! I can handle the coals, just a quick run to the cave and back isn't too bad!" Lola volunteered.
Van sighed with relief, a small smile appearing. "Thanks Lola, you're a real one." Van thanked her.
"Although..." Lola began. "Why is it called giving a crap? I wouldn't wanna be given that. Like if giving a crap means you care, then why is the thing you're giving so gross?" Lola pondered.
Hedrick rolled his eyes. "Lola, please just go get the coals." he ordered, not in the mood for one of her questions.
Lola winked at Hedrick. "No problem! Good luck guys!" Lola gave a quick wave to her team before running off to the woods.
Van looked to Hedrick next. "I'm gonna have you lead these guys in making the snowman itself. You good with that?" Van suggested.
Hedrick shook his head. "Not a people person. I'll just go get the arms for this thing. See ya." Hedrick replied bluntly, then walked away to head to the woods.
"You gotta be kidding me, I really needed like literally anyone else to do that..." Van grumbled to herself.
She walked over to Roxanne and tapped her shoulder. "Hey!" Van shouted at her.
Roxanne felt the tap and saw Van was yelling, so she took her headphones off. "You're on snowman duty with Mathias, Foxtrot, and Cynthia. Just make the snowman body, you all can make a snowman right? Grecia, Destiny, you'll raid Chef's kitchen" Van instructed them firmly.
Cynthia nodded her head. "Of course, I loved helping my siblings make snowmen in the winter. Such fun times." Cynthia answered.
Foxtrot somehow wasn't a fan of this position. "Umm, I'm not too great at this kind of thing." he stated awkwardly.
Destiny pointed to Grecia. "Maybe he and Grecia can trade places then... it might work... it might not..." Destiny suggested mysteriously.
"I guess he's a shy twerp, Chef might not notice him. That works. Grecia, you're on snowman duty." Van told the brainiac.
"Buth thysical actithity ithn't my spethialty. I can help theal the daucuth carota from the kithen muth better." Grecia tried to reason.
Van was already walking away though. "It's just a snowman, you got this. I need to make sure Hedrick doesn't get mauled out there, so get working!" Van ordered, then switched to fully jogging away.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Grecia
Grecia grabbed onto the sink of the confessional and pulled herself up, now sitting on the edge of the sink while her back faced the camera. She then turned her head so she'd actually be facing the camera. "Ith fruthrating that Van won't let me uthe my skillth properly. I could eathily make a cloaking dethice! Maybe when I finith that time mathine, I can undo that error."
Confessional Over
In the lodge, Katelyn and Preston walked inside, soon being followed by Destiny and Foxtrot. "Do you see Chef anywhere?" Foxtrot asked nervously.
Katelyn walked up to the door that led into the kitchen itself, not the dining room, then began to slowly open it. "I don't see him in there." Katelyn answered, peering inside once the door was open.
Preston grabbed the door handle and opened it the rest of the way. "I suppose that means it's safe to search." Preston figured he looked inside as well.
"Let's get searching then..." Destiny told Foxtrot, and two began to walk into the kitchen.
Katelyn held a leg out in front of the doorway though, and both ended up tripping on their way in. "Ha! Gotcha! Preston, hide!" Katelyn taunted the two of them, then darted underneath one of the tables in the common area.
Preston joined her, and Chef heard Katelyn taunting them, so he soon came over to the kitchen entrance carrying his butcher knife. "You kids are trying to break into my kitchen!?" Chef yelled at Destiny and Foxtrot.
Foxtrot jumped to his feet and Destiny stood back up while Chef yelled at them, and Foxtrot right away began to shiver. "C-CHEF! RUN!" Foxtrot screamed as he then ran away.
Chef raised his butcher knife, and Destiny took that as her cue to run away with Foxtrot as well. "Grah!" Chef yelled at them as he now began to chase them with his butcher knife.
Once they were gone, Katelyn crawled out from under the table and dusted herself off once she was back on her feet. "Too easy." she commented as she looked towards the common area.
The twins walked into the kitchen, now completely hazard free. "Hmm, where would Chef put his carrots? Preston, you're the wannabe butler, you should know this." Katelyn asked him, looking around and not seeing any carrots just sitting around.
Preston walked over to one of the cabinets and opened it. "Hmm, non-starches. Should be in the next cabinet then." Preston commented, seeing a ton of unused vegetables in the cabinet that Chef seemed to just not use.
Preston opened the next cabinet, and both carrots were right there, not even being actually hidden. They were just sitting under a few husks of corn. Preston grabbed one, then left the other. "Take the other one and hide it! That spot is way too obvious!" Katelyn demanded, pointing at the carrot Preston left.
"That would be unfair, but I suppose." Preston just did as told as grabbed the second carrot and handed it to Katelyn.
Katelyn took the carrot, snapped it in half, then she tossed it into the trash can. "Not gonna waste that much time on those losers, but now they've got a broken carrot when they find it, so our work here is done!" Katelyn declared, then hurried out of the kitchen.
Preston frowned as she did this, but Katelyn had already left now. "I hope we don't get a penalty for this..." he said to himself quietly as he followed his sister.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Katelyn
Katelyn laughed to herself, tossing their carrot in her hand. "Those losers are gonna be way too easy to beat. I hope they aren't losers forever though, it'd get boring if it was this easy!"
Confessional Over
Over in the snowy woods, Keith and Sharon were heading uphill and trudging through the snow as they headed to the caves. "Do you see anything dangerous ahead? I don't know if Chris checked the wildlife around here." Keith asked Sharon, since she was ahead of him.
"Nothing I can't handle! But yeah, nothing ahead." Sharon answered as she reached the top of the small forest hill.
The cave entrance was now in view, sitting on the plateau that Sharon had walked onto. "So our coal is in there huh? Doesn't look too bad bro." Keith observed, not seeing any immediate danger in the cave.
"Oh you guys found the coal? Cool!" Lola called to them as she caught up to them easily, stopping her jog and standing near them.
Sharon shook her head. "Not yet, we just got here. But imagine what Chris has in store for us inside, it could be so totally extreme!" Sharon exclaimed.
"So it could hurt us, great." Keith remarked.
Lola raised an eyebrow. "It's great if it hurts you? I mean, I know some people are into that, I'm not, but it's okay if you are! Let's get going then!" Lola then jogged to the cave entrance, with Sharon right by her.
"Of course it's great if it can hurt you, that's what brings the thrill!" Sharon answered as they entered the cave.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Lola
Lola had her usual smile on, giggling for a moment. "So Keith and Sharon are masochists huh? Maybe they'd be a cute couple! I hope I can find someone that matches me here, that'd be fun! Not a lot of people are really that fun in the country club back home, they're all super serious and uptight. But I've already met some pretty fun people here, so if I could just pick up some of them as friends, then that'd be great!"
Confessional Over
Down by the lodge, Chris walked outside to check up on how the teams were making their snowmen. "Alright Lucy! I think that's big enough!" Sienna called to Lucas.
Lucas picked up the snowball he was rolling and looked it over, as it was the size of a basketball. "Is this really big enough?" Lucas asked her.
"It's supposed to be the head, so that'll do! If we make it heavier, it'll just mush the body." Sienna replied, giving Lucas a thumbs up.
"If you say so." Lucas was perfectly fine with being done, setting his snowball on the ground and just waiting for Mario and Ralph to finish their snowballs now.
Chris walked over to the Felines, where Roxanne was slowly rolling a snowball while humming a beat to herself. "And how are things coming along here?" Chris asked, then took a sip of his coffee.
"We've rolled up 225 centimeters of snow so far, and counting." Mathias answered immediately.
Cynthia looked over at Mathias when he said that. "You have been keeping track of that? Wow, that's impressive. Wonderful job." Cynthia praised Mathias.
Mathias smirked, then patted his snowball. "It's not too tough. I can measure dimensions like that since I can see how far each of you are walking. I count that, then add it up. It's easy." Mathias explained how he did it.
Grecia was struggling to push her snowball, pushing with her back. "This is thrusthrating... this ith not my forte..." Grecia complained as she pushed.
Chris chuckled at the little girl as she struggled. "I don't know why you guys are making 4 snowballs though. But hey, whatever suits you." Chris pointed out, since all four of the Felines on snowball duty were rolling up snow.
The four of them all looked at each other, and they realized Chris was right. Roxanne pointed at each of the snowballs, then raised one hand up that went above her. "I think she means we make a tall snowman?" Cynthia guessed.
"It would appear tho." Grecia agreed, seeing Roxanne's gesture. "If that ith the cathe, my thnowball thall be the head. It would be ergonomically thound for uth to do tho." Grecia added, patting her fairly small snowball. It was around the size of a watermelon.
Mathias did a quick count, then nodded in agreement. "That will be one head and three body parts. Just make the other three snowballs a bit bigger then. That should count as a body." Mathias instructed.
Roxanne turned her volume back up in her headphones now that they had their orders, then continued to push her snowball. "I'm glad our work wasn't wasted. Four parts makes it that much more special." Cynthia commented joyfully, now pushing her snowball more as well.
Confessional: Frozen Felines Mathias
Mathias was counting the droplets coming from the sink in the confessional before he remembered why he was here and sat up. "It is nice that some on our team appreciate my gift to count. Counting is more useful than you think! Keeping track of everything can really come in hand in cases like these."
Confessional Over
In the forest, Miriam and Raphael had just reconvened with one another after getting their sticks and rocks. "I think this is enough. Unless Chris wants some eldritch horror man, we got enough." Miriam stated, seeing that Raphael was carrying enough sticks to make a decent chair.
Raphael saw that Miriam only had four twigs in her arms, all of which were extremely pointy. "You only gathered four sticks? Soldier, what were you doing!?" Raphael demanded an answer.
"We only need a couple pointy sticks for the arms. It's not that serious, chill out captain crybaby." Miriam replied almost mockingly.
"Don't disrespect your captain soldier! We need as much as we can to be secure!" Raphael shouted at her, not taking kindly to the joke whatsoever.
Miriam rolled her eyes, then walked past Raphael. "Someone let team captain go their head..." Miriam muttered to herself.
In another part of the woods closer to the lodge, Hedrick was sitting on the snow by himself, just resting his head on his hands while he leaned against a large rock. It was peaceful, until Van found him and walked up. "Found you. Had a feeling you'd be in a spot like this." Van told him.
"Then you know why too. Talk is over." Hedrick replied quickly, not even looking her way.
Van was carrying a few sticks and had some rocks in her pockets, so she just set the sticks on the ground and sat next to him. "Imma keep it real with you, I'd do the same if I wasn't captain. The rest of the team is a bunch of jabronis." Van told him.
"Tell me something I don't know." Hedrick was pretty disinterested, still not looking at Van.
Van took on a more serious tone. "If we lose, those jabronis are gonna stick together. So hanging out here isn't going to do us any good. So get up, 'cuz we've got a snowman to build." Van warned him, then stood up herself.
Hedrick groaned and stood up. "Fine. This isn't an alliance by the way. I don't do that." Hedrick stated, just in case.
Van picked her sticks back up and nodded. "You do you, I just ain't gonna go down to some nerdy jabronis like them." Van said, and the two began to walk back to the lodge.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Miriam
Miriam twirled a finger near her head, going cross eyed for a moment. "I think Raphael has a few more screws loose than I thought at first. Dude thinks he's a general of the military even out here! Even if you were in the military, you'd be able to make that separation right?"

Back inside the cave, things were much darker since there weren't any lights put up. "Do you think anything lives in this cave?" Keith asked, having trouble seeing what was ahead.
As soon as he asked that, a flurry of bats came through, with their squeaks being the only thing that let the teens know they were coming. "I think they do! Eek!" Lola let out as she ducked down.
"Give me your worst!" Sharon shouted at the bats as they flew towards them.
Keith ducked as well, but Sharon decided to try and punch some of the bats. She landed a good blow on one of them, but the rest of them ended up scratching and biting her as they flew by. "Sharon! Are you okay bro?" Keith asked her worriedly as he stood up once they were gone.
"Ex...treme..." Sharon sputtered, before passing out quickly thanks to the bat bites.
Keith caught Sharon as she passed out, while Lola got up and stepped forward. "Oh hey! The coal was right past their nest! Do you think Chris did that on purpose?" Lola pointed to the coal as she saw a small pile of it on the ground.
Keith sat Sharon down, then hurried over to the pile of coal. "Definitely, seems like something Chris would do." Keith replied as he grabbed a few lumps and put them in his pockets.
Lola grabbed a few lumps, as well as some of the smaller pieces. "At least we got the coal then! Good luck guys!" Lola gave a quick wave to Keith, then began to jog away to leave the cave.
Keith walked back over to Sharon and hoisted her onto his back, now carrying her as he walked to the cave entrance as well. "I should definitely be there before evening, we'll be fine." Keith assured himself.
Confessional: Polar Pythons: Keith
Keith scratched his head for a moment before speaking. "I feel like we're going to have to keep an eye on Sharon going forward. It didn't really hurt us today, but that recklessness could really bite us down the line."

Back down at the lodge, the Pythons had gotten their three snowballs now stacked on top of each other. "Perfect! Way to go crew!" Sienna praised the other three, since the blank snowman had the perfect proportions.
Ralph just shrugged. "Came out alright, I guess." he was still pretty disinterested at the moment.
"Itsa pretty nice snowman! You have a good eye for this kind of thing." Mario complimented Sienna, also proud of their blank snowman.
Lucas wasn't really proud though. "Whoop dee doo, we made a snowman, this is kids' stuff. You'd have to be pretty bad to screw it up." Lucas told them.
Katelyn and Preston soon arrived as well, with Katelyn waving the carrot at them. "I've got the carrot!" Katelyn called to her team.
Sienna clapped her hands excitedly. "Great! Just put it right in the middle of top snowball okay?" Sienna instructed.
Katelyn put the carrot where the nose should go, and it stuck in there pretty much seamlessly. "Good job sis." Preston complimented her as she put it in.
"Thanks Prezzie! We just have to wait for the others to get back right?" Katelyn asked the others.
Sienna nodded her head. "Yup! Then we can get the rest of our little friend's features on!" Sienna answered.
Lola soon arrived, seeing that the Felines were currently stacking up their snowballs. "You guys need some help?" Lola offered, seeing that Grecia and Mathias were having trouble lifting the second snowball for the stack.
"That would be apprethiated." Grecia answered immediately, with her and Mathias setting down the second snowball. It was a thickly packed snowball the size of a hamper, so it was tough for nerds like them to pick up.
Lola nodded and picked up their snowball with relative ease, then set it down on top of the first. She picked up the other snowballs and stacked them both as well, their blank 4 level snowman now ready to be decorated. "Thank you Lola, that made making our snowman much quicker." Cynthia thanked her.
"It's no problem!" Lola dismissed the thanks, smiling at her team. "Although why do we call them snowmen? I don't really know any man that's like, the shape of 3 balls stacked on each other. How does he walk? How do we even know it's a man actually? I could just poke a hole in it and it'd be a lady right? I don't really get it." Lola asked the others.
Mathias and Cynthia gave each awkward looks as Lola went into one of her rambles, while Roxanne just rolled her eyes and turned the volume up further. "Hmm, it's already been a full minute since Katelyn and Preston returned, I wonder what is delaying Destiny and Foxtrot." Mathias pointed out, looking to the lodge now.
"I hope they're alright, Chef might have found them." Cynthia said worriedly.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Roxanne
Roxanne raised up one hand, then began to make a mouth motion with it. She just kept having that hand mouth go and go, imitating Lola's rambles.

Inside the lodge, Chef was still chasing Foxtrot and Destiny around, the two of them weaving between furniture to try and get away from him, but Chef wasn't really letting up. "No one touches my food but me!" Chef yelled at them.
The two soon ran into the actual kitchen again, and split up when they reached Chef's kitchen island. "You can't just swing that at us!" Foxtrot tried to argue, fearing for his life.
In his hurried run, Foxtrot ended up knocking several ingredients off the table, soon running into the trash can and tipping it over when he came around a corner. Chef was chasing him, so Destiny had some breathing room. "Oh hey... it's the carrot..." Destiny pointed out, picking up the two carrot pieces once Chef had passed by.
"It is!? Let's get out of here then!" Foxtrot shouted, changing course to book it for the lodge entrance.
The two Felines made a mad dash for the entrance, opening the door and getting outside just as Chef drew closer. "And stay out!" Chef yelled at them as they went outside.
Once outside, Foxtrot took several heavy breaths, recovering from all the running he just did. "Hmm... our carrot isn't the best..." Destiny stated, holding out the pieces for Foxtrot to see.
Foxtrot winced, then looked over at the large snowman the Felines had assembled, where Mathias was currently putting on the coal eyes and mouth using what Lola had brought. "Maybe Chris won't mind much? Our snowman is much bigger than theirs." Foxtrot said hopefully.
"That would make sense... we'll see..." Destiny replied, unsure of what would actually happen.
Raphael and Miriam returned, soon followed by Van and Hedrick. "Oh hey, you guys got the sticks, nice! We just have to wait for Keith and Sharon now!" Mario waved to his teammates as they got back.
It didn't take a ton of time for Keith and Sharon to arrive either, as Keith was fairly quick with carrying Sharon back to the lodge. "Yeesh, what happened to her?" Lucas asked.
"There were some bats in the cave, and she got bit." Keith answered, sparing the details on it.
Sienna looked at Sharon and winced when she saw the bites, but that pity didn't sting too long. "At least we have all the parts we need for our snowman, so we can get this put together!" Sienna looked on the bright side.
Things weren't as bright for the Felines though, as while Van put the twig arms on the snowman, Foxtrot and Destiny walked up with their broken carrot pieces. "What happened to the nose?" Van asked them, instantly getting a pang of dread when she saw it.
"Foxtrot tipped over the trash can it was hidden in and it was broken when it came out." Destiny explained, making Foxtrot tense up instantly.
Hedrick pinched the bridge of his nose. "You've gotta be kidding me..." he muttered.
Van still took the nose though, planting the big half where the nose would go. "We work with what we have then. No use just not using it. Better hope we get lucky." Van told them, directing herself more towards Foxtrot.
Confessional: Frozen Felines: Van
Van had a frown, leaning against the wall of the confessional. "This is just getting more and more frustrating leading these jabronis, but I can't really lash out at them. They're a bunch of soft serve shy kids, yelling at them won't do any good. I gotta get them to just keep trying. At least some of them make for easy vote fodder."
Confessional Over
Evening soon came, and both teams were now huddled up by their snowmen to stay warm while Chris and Chef walked out of the lodge to judge them. Chef was carrying a tray of hot chocolate, clearly meant for the winner. "You had all day to make your snowmen, so let's see how you did!" Chris greeted them, holding a clipboard.
Up first were the Pythons, with a pretty standard looking snowman. Coal eyes, coal mouth, perfectly centered nose, rock buttons, and the twigs were positioned to make it look like he was waving. "Quaint, simple, ordinary, good job! Would have liked to see some more creativity." Chris gave them his critique.
Raphael gave a satisfied nod to Chris, although he still looked pretty wary about if they'd actually win. "When we get our reward, you all can thank Builder Sienna!" Sienna told them optimistically.
"And Builder Mario!" Mario chimed in.
Chris walked up to the Felines next, and looked up when he saw their 7 foot tall snowman, much taller than the 5 foot snowman the Pythons had made. "He's a tall fellow ain't he?" Chef remarked.
The tall snowman was pretty standard as well, with the coal eyes, and an even bigger coal smile. Instead of rock buttons, the Felines had used twigs to give him a tie. Both arms on him were raised, and Chris's gaze soon fell upon the broken nose. "What's this?" Chris asked them, pointing to the nose.
With some quick thinking, Grecia stepped up right away. "Ith thuppothed to be a tribute to Michael Jackson. Thath why heth tall ath well." Grecia answered in a matter of factly tone.
Chris narrowed his eyes for a moment, tapping his pencil to his chin. "Interesting concept, very big fan of his music. Very interesting." Chris commented, then walked away.
Chris walked to the center of both teams, looking back and forth between both snowmen. "I think the winner is clear here. It's the Polar Pythons!" Chris announced, which produced an expected groan from the Felines.
"I thought you were a fan of his music, you didn't like our Michael Jackson snowman?" Foxtrot asked, playing along with Grecia's concept.
Chris nodded his head. "I like his music, but giving him a broken nose is just disrespectful! Not cool dude." Chris answered, now wearing a frown.
Seeing how upset the Felines were though, his frown turned right back into a smile. "Anywho, I'll be seeing your butts at Elimination Peak tonight! Get voting!" Chris told them, then walked over to the Pythons.
Chef held out the tray to the team, letting them all get a mug. "Pythons, you guys win again, so you'll be enjoying the luxuries of victory once more! The common area is all yours tonight!" Chris informed them, prompting them all to high five each other except for Sharon.
Voting Confessionals
Grecia
Grecia climbed onto the sink this time, now actually grabbing the card she wanted. It was Foxtrot's, which she scanned without hesitation. "Getting rid of the weak link is thimply logical."
Van
Van showed Foxtrot's card to the camera, then scanned it. "Sorry kiddo, but you ain't cut out for this."
Roxanne
Roxanne held up Lola's card and rolled her eyes when she looked at the picture. She then scanned it quickly.
Confessionals Over
That night, just outside the lodge on Elimination Peak, the nine members of the Felines had gathered and sat in two rows. Plenty of tension was in the air, as there were a few candidates to blame for the loss. "Two in a row, you guys aren't doing too hot! Must be pretty chilly among your team huh?" Chris asked them mockingly.
No one laughed at his cold joke, except for Lola who let out a slight giggle. "Fine, be cold with me why don't you. Not like I care!" Chris told them. He did.
Chris picked up the first smore on his tray, scanning his eyes across the team. "When you hear your name, you're golden. Not the smore though, these things are colder than the atmosphere here. If you don't get one, it'll be your time to ride down the Cliff of Shame!" Chris began the ceremony, letting the tension build for a moment before actually handing out smores.
"Smores go to..."

"Van."
Van walked up and grabbed her smore, just glad her leadership didn't backfire on her in the votes.

"Roxanne."
Roxanne bobbed her head to the tune of the song playing in her headphones as she grabbed her smore, keeping the rhythm all while she walked away and back to her seat.
...
...
...
...
...
"Destiny."
Destiny fully expected to be safe, so she just casually strolled up to Chris and grabbed her smore, taking a satisfied bite on the way back.
...

...
...
...
"Mathias."
Mathias merrily walked up and grabbed his smore. "2.5 grams of sugar in the chocolate here, if I make it to the end, that should be 50 grams of sugar on the dot." Mathias stated, before stuffing the smore into his mouth.
...
...
...
...
...
"Cynthia."
Cynthia calmly walked up to grab her smore, giving Chris a nod of thanks as she grabbed it.
...
...
...
...
...
"Hedrick."
"Hmph." Hedrick let out as he heard his name, then walked up and grabbed his smore.
...
...
...
...
...
"Grecia."
Grecia hopped off her seat, then struggled to grab her smore off the tray on Chris's podium, so the host helped her out and handed it to her. "How indignant..." Grecia mumbled to herself.
Foxtrot tensed up even more when he realized he was in the bottom 2, while Lola just tried to keep her smile despite her nervousness at being in the bottom 2 again. "Foxtrot, you're on the chopping block for not really being too helpful in either challenge so far, and bringing your team a broken nose. Still not a fan of that by the way." Chris stated why Foxtrot was here, which just made the boy shudder, too scared to even look at his teammates.
Chris then looked to Lola. "And Lola, you have a tendency to yap. Could this be your undoing?" Chris asked her rhetorically.
Both teens continued to grow more and more nervous. Foxtrot gripped his seat, eyeing the final smore. Lola had her hands in her pockets, keeping her posture, although one look at her face would show how scared she was. "The final smore goes to..."

"Foxtrot."
Foxtrot let out a huge sigh of relief as he heard his name, then rushed up to grab his smore before scurrying back to his seat. "W-What?" Lola asked, half-confused and half-betrayed in her tone.
Roxanne made her chatting motion again, with Foxtrot nodding in agreement. "Sorry... it was just annoying, I didn't know who else to vote for to stay in the game myself." Foxtrot apologized, although his cheerful tone at being safe undermined the apology.
Hearing that apology was good enough for Lola though, who stood up with a smile. "Well it was nothing personal then, that's alright with me! I'm glad I could make some friends! We should all hang out sometime after this yeah?" Lola proposed eagerly.
Mathias shook his head. "Count me out of that one." Mathias told her.
"Huh? I thought we could hang out since we like each other. We're all friends right?" Lola asked them.
Destiny smirked and shook her head next. "Nope... we really don't like you. You're annoying. Why do you think we're getting rid of you?" Destiny turned Lola down.
Lola's arms dropped, as did her smile. "What did I do wrong? I just wanted to be friends, I thought I was doing good!" Lola began to tear up a little, thinking differently than what Destiny had told her.
Chris snapped his fingers, and Chef got the message, soon walking up to Lola. "You really... weren't. I don't think anyone here likes you." Cynthia replied.
Lola was about to fully start crying, but she just wiped them away and mustered up a smile. "I had a good time... j-jerks..." Lola whimpered, doing her best not to cry as she stepped onto the skis Chef laid out in front of her.
Before she could say anything else, Chef kicked Lola in the back, sending her flying off the Cliff of Shame and far down below. "Talk about a cold exit! You guys really went into that one huh?" Chris remarked, looking at the Felines.
"She deserved it..." Destiny replied bluntly.
"Sure, well, you guys can head back inside now. Just stay out of the common area, that's reserved for the non-losers!" Chris instructed, with Chef walking to the lodge back entrance and opening up the door so they could head inside.
While the remaining Felines began to head back into the lodge, Chris turned to face the camera. "A simple challenge, but clearly some dynamics are already forming! Will Raphael continue to let his leadership go to his head? Will Foxtrot grow a spine? Will the Felines actually kick it up a notch? Find out next time, on Total, Drama, Snowscapes!" Chris concluded the episode, with only the sound of the light wind at the peak afterwards.
Polar Pythons: Raphael, Sharon, Mario, Katelyn, Preston, Lucas, Keith, Miriam, Ralph, Sienna
Frozen Felines: Van, Hedrick, Grecia, Destiny, Cynthia, Roxanne, Foxtrot, Mathias
Eliminated:
Lola, Biff
Thank you all for reading! Been busy with irl stuff, but here we are! Lola was obvious early boot material, don't really see her as much more than that. But she's an entertaining boot nonetheless. Keeping the early challenges simple, since making the action focused leaves less room to actually get the ball rolling on the storylines. Let me know what you thought, and I shall see you all next time!
