It had been a few weeks since Jimmy created a new invention and this was due to a combination of a lack of good ideas and trying to avoid another incident that would inadvertently harm the citizens of Retroville.
So, on this random day, Jimmy invented Sheen over to his lab to hang out and come up with ideas for inventions. As usual, the two were in the buff and it was quite clear that Sheen was now borderline shameless when it came to his nudity. It was like Sheen couldn't wait to get naked.
"Hey Jimmy, I have a question. Since you've began this whole "working naked" thing, have you done anything else naked, besides showering?" asked Sheen.
"Well…ugh, I don't want to think about it. It was during that short time I went to college. Some jerk named Seymour made me…(sigh)…streak down the college lab because of peer pressure tactics." said Jimmy.
"Wait. You actually streaked?!" asked Sheen.
"Yes, it was the worst. I did it when a lady named Mrs. Moran visited and I no doubt traumatized her in the process. The whole thing was a disaster." said Jimmy.
"Wow, that sounds pretty rough. I've thought about streaking but I was always too scared to do it. But that's all changed now. Plus, it helps that my Dad is cool with me being in my birthday suit in the house." said Sheen.
"Wait. Your dad found out? How did that happen?" asked Jimmy.
"I came home early from school, took the chance, got naked, my Dad came home early, we both freaked, I told him everything, and he was fine with it, as long as my sister and grandmother weren't around." said Sheen
"Wow. I'm surprised your Dad was so accepting. I don't even want to visualize having that conversation with my parents." said Jimmy.
"Jimmy! I just thought of an invention you can make!" said Sheen.
"Really? That's great! What is it?" asked Jimmy.
"Something that could allow us to walk naked in public." said Sheen.
"Why would you want that?" asked Jimmy.
"Why? Because it would fun and exciting!" said Sheen.
"I don't know, Sheen. This type of invention could have numerous consequences. What if everyone in class finds out? Our lives would be over until we get out of college or move out of Retroville." said Jimmy.
"Then you should work on it a ton before we actually do anything. You should do…what's it called?" said Sheen.
"Trial and error." said Jimmy.
"Yeah, that! And you just let me know when it's good to go." said Sheen.
"Well, alright. But it won't be for a while when it's ready." said Jimmy.
Once Sheen left the lab, Jimmy got to work on the invention. He thought of several concepts regarding Sheen's idea and eventually, one stuck with him. It would be a watch that could convince everyone they were wearing clothes, when in reality, they weren't. It was perfect. It just needed to be tested out several times before deciding to go through with it.
A Week and A Half Later
After multiple tests, the watch, now called the Clothing Watch 3000, was ready to go and Jimmy called Sheen to let him know of the invention.
Once Sheen entered Jimmy's lab, Jimmy explained everything about the Clothing Watch, including how it worked, how Jimmy got it to work, and any various side effects of wearing the watch.
"So, how long will it last?" asked Sheen.
"A few hours. Approximately 4-5. So, we could spend an afternoon wearing the watch, as long as nothing happened to it." said Jimmy.
"Awesome!" said Sheen.
"And now I will show you how it works." Jimmy said before putting the watch on his wrist. He then rotated the watch and suddenly, a blue ring appeared on his right arm and extended through the other side of his body.
Sheen noticed that Jimmy was still naked and asked, "So, the whole blue ring thing was cool, but…you're still naked."
"Exactly. Look." Jimmy said before walking up to a mirror and the mirror showed Jimmy in his usual outfit.
"Woah. That's trippy." said Sheen.
"Yep. Basically, it tricks people into believing I'm wearing clothes, even though I'm not." said Jimmy.
"That is amazing! Let me try it!" said Sheen.
"Okay. Okay." Jimmy said before taking off the watch and giving it to Sheen. Now, the mirror showed Jimmy without clothes, showing how removing the watch will eliminate the effect.
Sheen quickly took off his clothes, put the watch on his wrist, rotated it, and the blue ring extended across Sheen's body, meaning the effect was now active.
"Now, look in the mirror." said Jimmy.
Sheen did just that and saw that he was wearing his shirt, pants, and sneakers. But when he looked away from the mirror and on his body, he was nude.
"Jimmy, this just might be your best invention yet! And now it's time to go out to the streets." said Sheen.
"Okay, I'll go with you, in case anything happens." Jimmy said as he was putting on his clothes.
Soon enough, Sheen and Jimmy left the lab and exited through the clubhouse. Unexpectedly, Jimmy's father, Hugh, came out of nowhere and surprised both Jimmy and Sheen.
"Hey Jimbo! So, what are you two up to?" asked Hugh.
"Nothing much, Dad. Just brainstorming ideas about inventions. Nothing more." said Jimmy.
"Hmmm. And Sheen, I've noticed you and Jimmy have been hanging out more than usual." said Hugh.
"Yeah, Jimmy needed a second opinion on ideas. Plus, we get to talk more about more personal stuff." Sheen said, nervous that Jimmy's Dad would notice his lack of clothing.
"Well, alright. Have fun, you two. Just make sure not to burn the town again with your wacky adventures." Hugh said before walking away.
Both Jimmy and Sheen noticed how Jimmy's Dad didn't once notice Sheen's state of undress, which meant the watch was legit.
"Now, let's have some fun." said Sheen before he and Jimmy went out to the streets of Retroville.
