My take on what might have happened if Bernie had turned back and went back to speak to Serena at the end of ep S18E51. This story will have M rated chapters. This is my first fanfic so still finding my way around. Reviews welcome.

Bernie and Serena in the office... with a very unwelcome guest. Short smutty drabble that I had to write after reading the prompt, which is at the end to avoid spoilers!

After the kiss they shared in the theatre Bernie and Serena have no idea how to act around each other. The more awkward they become with one another, the more strain it puts in their working relationship. But when yet another incident puts Bernie's life in grave danger Serena realises that she can no longer run from the feelings she's tried so hard to hide.

I love the story line of Bernie and Serena in Holby City but it's moving at a glacial pace. This is my attempt to speed things up a little. It is a twist on the episode, Brave New World.

Prompt: Bernie comes home at Christmas. Serena doesn't know she's back but Jason does. Jason let's Bernie in after Serena has fallen asleep, it's 3 am on Christmas Day. Bernie hides in the living room with a bow on her chest, she falls asleep on the sofa and Serena finds her in the morning. Serena wakes her up with a kiss and Bernie asks if she's a good Christmas present.

When Serena agrees to go for a meal with Bernie, she doesn't realise it's to the posh Italian restaurant for couples on the high street... Luckily, she dressed for the occasion. Berena one-shot.

One shot following prompt by Slightlyintimidating on Tumblr Breaking into Bernie's fears around sharing her feelings with Serena using the prompt: After Mr Bliss' surgery, Serena finds Bernie cooling down. The phrase "strong and hot" resurfaces. I don't think I've actually met the prompt tbh, but the story developed in my head as I wanted to explore Bernie' vulnerabilities.

Prompt: I'd love to see established Berena couple playing match maker with Jac and Zosia. I think Bernie would drop little hints to Jac, and they would both take Zosia out with them to see if she's into Jac. I just really want to see these guys double date. 2 shot

Prompt: Could you please write a jasia fanfic where like the whole of Darwin have to go to a conference or something and it means that Jac and Zosia have to spend a really long car/plane/train ride sat next to eachother and they are like bickering, sleeping on each others shoulder etc. Short oneshot

Bernie's back has gone out once again at work, and Serena offers to help comfort her. She's reluctant to let her, though, not wanting to taint the perfect memories of her first massage from the woman. But Serena is not one to take no for an answer...

Somethings can't be left one way whilst they could be another. Someone has to be prepared to make the decision to take a stand. Why the hell shouldn't it be Serena.

Bernie is one month into her secondment in the Ukraine and desperately missing Serena. When a new colleague offers her a drink, she ends up spilling all she was trying to contain. Who knew one drink could mean so much?

Trying to make sense of the implosion that has become their relationship, Bernie leaves for secondment in the Ukraine and Serena is left to sort out the rubble of her life.

Serena has a working weekend to attend in a fancy hotel - conferences, presentations, board meetings & the likes.. Bernie tags along to make it more enjoyable.

It's been two weeks since Bernie returned from Ukraine and Serena was actively avoiding her. All Bernie wanted was a second to talk to Serena, to tell her how she felt, how sorry she was. Will Serena ever give her that second?
