Yu Yevon, leader to the grand city of Zanarkand, perceives the looming threat of war and invasion from Bevelle and becomes preoccupied with developing rituals that would protect his city. Simultaneously, a treachery hastens the prospect of chaos, forcing him into a game of securing as many alliances as he possibly could for Zanarkand. Will he or will he not succeed?
