"Cagalli, why are you mad at me?"
"I'm not," Cagalli was still not meeting his eyes.
"Myrna went through the effort to make a banquet for us after all, would you cheer up please?"
Now Cagalli was regretting her decision for asking Myrna to prepare something celebrating Athrun winning the triathlon event. She still couldn't wipe out the sight of all those women around him, with their hands eager to touch his body, which was drenched with water and sweat. Unconsciously, her lips were jutted out in a pout. She just realized it when she felt Athrun touch her lips.
At the same time, something caught her eyes.
A white long band wrapped around his wrist.
"This is the headband you gave me," Athrun said as he noticed where Cagalli was staring. "A headband will stand out in the dining hall, but I still don't want to take it off yet. After all, this is the good luck charm that made me win the race," Athrun said proudly. Cagalli remembered Athrun wearing it right before he started cycling till he reached the finish line at the end of running.
She stood abruptly, pulling the hand of a surprised Athrun and just mumbled softly, "Let's eat."
There will be 2 other chapter after this one, and this part is done.
(As for my other stories, I do have the new chapters written already, but there are still some holes here and there, I'm still trying to fill them. Hopefully they will be done soon)
