"Cagalli," Athrun called out from his seat across from her as the maids left them both alone in the dining room.
"What?" Cagalli was looking down, focused on the tea in front of her.
"Do I not get a present from you?" Athrun asked with a sulking tone.
"I gave you the gold medal at the award ceremony in front of everyone."
"It was an official award. I want something personal."
"I planned this dinner with Myrna," Cagalli tried to dodge it again, still not meeting his eyes.
Getting on his feet, Athrun walked around the long table to sit in a chair beside her. "I want something only you can give me."
"Like what?" Cagalli finally looked up.
Athrun took a seat and leaned forward, not saying anything.
Cagalli darted her eyes around, hesitant, before finally mumbled, "Close your eyes then..."
Smiling, Athrun did as he was told, before he finally got what he wanted, as he felt Cagalli's lips on his.
