Getting to U.A was the easy part. One dark corridor and they would be there. Finding where the attack was supposed to happen on the massive school grounds was, on the other hand, tricky. He and Luxord had opened a way to a main dark corridor from their apartment and used it to survey the school like how Lauriam had done when following All Might. Elrena was in the apartment on the other side of the portal to the dark corridor, checking the news on her phone. They had discovered that their phone's reception was unreliable at best being used when warping or in a dark corridor.

"Damn, All Might was busy before you talked to him." Elrena commented. "He's stopped more crimes and saved more people in two hours than the other heroes do in a day."

"Well, he is 'The Symbol of Peace' and The Number 1 Hero." Lauriam offered while observing one class of the Hero Course having a lesson in their classroom.

Since All Might was now investigating Lauriam's claim of an attack they didn't need to follow him around. Instead, they decided to follow the Hero Course students since he was their teacher and they were in danger of getting in the villains crosshair. He was watching the different years of class B while Luxord was observing the A classes.

"He might be on his way to the school or even be there now." she informed them. "There hasn't been any new update of his heroic deeds for the last hour."

"I'm betting that he will soon show up for class 1-A." Luxord called. "They have put on their hero garb and are headed off."

"Sounds likely." Lauriam agreed and continued to watch the B classes.

Watching one class have a lesson made him think back to when he was their age. There weren't really any schools in Daybreak Town aside from what lessons one of the Foreteller's would hold at times. Still, the focus had been on collecting lux, darkness and light, how to be a keyblade wielder and the unions since that was what their lives had centred around. He wondered how the people in the town who the keyblade did not choose lived their lives.

Did they also have lessons like this? Did they go to school too? He had no idea. His whole focus had been the union before and after the war. When he became union leader, he didn't keep watch on the recordings of the civilians milling about as the Dandelions relieved their lives in Daybreak Town. He had been too focused on finding his little sister and then on finding the one responsible for her death.

"Look alive." Luxord called and brought him out of his thoughts. "They are attacking class 1-A."

"What about All Might?" Lauriam asked, abandoning his watch of class B.

"He hasn't shown up yet."

Lauriam lightly frowned at that. Why did he not show up?

"Let's go then!" Elrena called as she entered the dark corridor.

"Yes." he answered and focused on the scenes before him.

"Luxord, assist the students and the teacher fighting Kurogiri. Elrena, find and help the scattered students. I will assist Eraser Head." he told them and they all warped out after pulling their hoods up.

Aizawa knew he was in over his head. If the villains started getting in hits on him he would go down fast. Regardless, he was going to take down as many as possible to give Thirteen time to get the students out past the teleporting villain. He had to trust that they, and the scattered students, could handle themselves and get past the villain. Meanwhile, the foes he was fighting were disorganised as they tried to attack him with their fists or the quirks that he had erased.

He captured one of the villains with his scarf and flunger her crashing into a group of them just as shrieks of more villains echoed, slung into his pile by another force.

"What are you doing here?!" he called in surprise as Seraphim flourished his scythe.

"A mass of villains against two heroes and twenty kids isn't really fair. We thought we would even the odds." he answered, swinging his weapon to send three whirlwinds of rose petals against incoming villains.

Villains were sucked into the whirlwinds and tossed about, skidding along the ground and into other villains.

"We? All three of you are here?"

"Yes. Trick is assisting Thirteen and Lightning is supporting the students that were scattered."

"If you insist on helping, I can't stop you." Aizawa told him as he kicked another villain in the stomach and sweeped her legs from under her.

"Good. Because you might not have noticed, but the big guy showing off his brains is a Heartless." Seraphim informed him.

Uraraka watched Thirteen trapping the villain Kurogiri in her Black Hole quirk so that Iida could run for backup, but to Uraraka's horror a portal opened up behind her favourite hero and caught her in her own attack. The gravity of her own quirk was starting to tear apart their teacher!

"What!?" Kurogiri cried out in alarm as a purple light sucked his whole body into a silver and white coloured playcard.

The card gleamed, showing an image of Kurogiri on one side and an unfamiliar symbol on the other, before it sailed back to the hands of a black hooded figure who had stepped out of yet another portal.

"Just in the nick of time. Are you alright there, Thirteen?" the figure asked.

Thirteen's suit was thorn at the back, but to Uraraka's relief she was otherwise fine.

"Who are you?" Thirteen asked, turning towards the figure with her arm stretched out and ready to use her quirk again.

"I am Trick. One of the 'Black Coat'-vigilantes, as you have aptly named us."

"You're not with the villains?" Uraraka blurted out in disbelief.

"No. If we were, it would be quite out of order for me to stop this fellow." Trick answered and waved the Kurogiri-card in between his fingers.

"We?" Thirteen asked.

"Yes. My friends Seraphim and Lightning are supporting your fellow teacher Eraser Head and the students this villain warped away."

As he finished, the ground shook and screams erupted from the plaza. The students turned and watched in awe as a shockwave of pink energy and rose petals sent several villains flying. Another figure in a black coat was standing in the middle of the shockwave armed with a pink and green scythe.

"Always have to ham it up, doesn't he?." Trick said with a laugh. "Would you mind me assisting you until this has been resolved?" he asked, turning back to Thirteen.

Thirteen hesitated before talking again.

"Shoji-kun. Are you able to tell how the other students are doing?" Thirteen asked him, without turning away from Trick.

"Not entirely. I mostly hear lightning strikes from the Collapsed Zone moving towards the Landslide Zone. But from what I can gather they are doing okay."

"Lightning is making short work of those ruffians. She will make sure that the students are safe." Trick told them.

Their teacher was silent for a moment, then she lowered her hand.

"Everyone, we will continue to evacuate with the help of Trick."

"Sensei! You can not mean that we work with this vigilante?!" Iida exclaimed.

"He saved me from being gravely injured, Iida-kun. I will give him the benefit of the doubt." Thirteen explained. "Now, let's get out of here."

Yaoyorozu was furiously thinking, trying to come up with a way to save Kaminari without giving in to the villain's demand. Kaminari himself was not of any help after having fried himself and Jiro's attempt to boost her quirk had failed when the villain noticed it. Maybe she could create something to distract him, but if he noticed her using her quirk like with Jiro, he would kill Kaminari. How could they save him?!

Two yellow knives pierced the villain's hand and wrist making him drop Kaminari to the ground and scream in pain. Swiftly after, a figure in black appeared, closed in on the villain and hit him with several punches and kicks in rapid succession, breaking the mask and sending him flying with a kick to the chest.

"Buh bye!" The figure yelled and several identical figures spun in the air around the villain where he landed, creating a circle of multicoloured electricity that coalesced into a strike of powerful lightning hitting him head on.

The figure was floating above the villain and the earth that had been scorched by her attack. The villain did not get up again.

"You three alright?" the woman asked them when she landed in front of them.

"Who are you?" Yaoyorozu asked, getting ready to fight again if needed.

"My name is Lightning. I'm making sure you kids don't get fried by these losers." she answered them and paused when she looked at Kaminari lying on the ground.

He was still smiling like a moron and continued to do thumbs up towards them.

"Now, if you two are good and can take care of your friend." Lightning said, giving Kaminari a last, possibly concerned look, but she wasn't sure due to the hood obscuring her face. "I need to help more of you scamps. See ya!"

Lightning took off at, well, lightning speed and left a confused Yaoyorozu and Jiro to take care of their classmate.

After Seraphim had knocked out an impressive amount of villains using the shockwave he had created after slamming his scythe into the ground, there were only a few villains left. Among them, the big guy with his brain exposed. The same villain that Seraphim meant was a Heartless. Aizawa kept an eye on the Heartless as he knocked out some more villains. Suddenly a guy with hands covering him intercepted his capture weapon and he could faintly hear him counting under his breath. He slammed his elbow into the guy's stomach, but the villain had blocked his blow with the palm of his hand.

"It's hard to tell, but your hair falls back down in front of your eyes after you have attacked. And it happens more frequently." The villain told him.

Pain suddenly radiated from his elbow where the villain's hand was.

"Even with your party member, don't overdo it now, Eraser Head."

Aizawa slugged the villain in the face and jumped backwards, noticing the state of his disintegrated elbow. He would not be able to use that arm now. Seraphim took out the two villains trying to attack his back and stationed himself to his right, protecting his injured right arm.

"Wish I could use Cure now." Seraphim muttered under his breath, "It is going to be hard for you to use that arm now."

"I'll do without it." he muttered back.

"Your quirk is not good in long group battles, huh?" the hand villain said from the ground. "You didn't know this surprise party member would appear to help you, yet you jumped into this fray to make the kids feel safe? Although you specialise in quick sneak attacks? So cool, so cool." he praised him.

"By the way, hero and meddler. I am not the boss of this fight."

A big form appeared to his and Seraphim's right. Using his scythe Seraphim cut off the arm of the Heartless and they both jumped away from the big guy trying to grab them. The Heartless didn't even react to losing its arm. Worse was that the arm grew right back with a thick black smoke coming from it.

"Nomu is the weapon to kill All Might. With Hyper Regeneration it will be hard for the symbol of peace to smash him down." the hand guy said.

"A bit more resilient than the average Heartless, huh?" Seraphim said.

"Are you sure that he is one?" Aizawa asked.

"Positive. Do you not feel the darkness he is emanating?"

Dodging a blow with assistance from Seraphim, and blocking out the pain of his arm, he could certainly feel something. A feeling that made his skin crawl and made the hair on the back of his neck stand. It was the same feeling he always got when he ran into the Heartless in the city.

"I do." he answered as he moved out of the way for another attack with help of the vigilante dragging him by the back of his shirt.

Damn if this guy wasn't quick! If Seraphim wasn't helping him he would have been taken down by his first attack. Even worse, the speed and strength it possessed were not affected by his own quirk.

"Is his strength and speed not a quirk?" Seraphim asked after sending the Heartless away with a big whirlwind of rose petals.

"I have been using my quirk on him. Whatever strength he has is his base strength and not due to a quirk."

"Heh, figures. Guess I should become serious. Can you dodge him yourself for 10 seconds?"

"What are you going to do?"

"Put a curse on him." he answered cryptically and Aizawa frowned.

"Fine. I can handle him for 10 seconds."

"Good."

Seraphim jumped back, sending a group of flower buds to float in the air towards the Heartless. They shot out pink energy beams at the Heartless while Aizawa worked his body to the limit to avoid punch after punch. It had been 7 seconds of getting this guy's attention and dodging his blows and it was severely wearing him out.

8 seconds.

The flowers that Seraphim had summoned had disappeared and he had no more help from them. The Heartless closed in fast.

9 seconds.

The Heartless got in a strike to his left hip. The crunch and pain tearing through him told him that he definitely broke a bone, if not several. The force of the punch sent him spinning in the air and hard into the ground on his back. He was only lucky he hadn't landed fully on his damaged arm.

10 seconds.

The Heartless pounced on him, held him down and about to crush his left arm when Seraphim suddenly appeared behind the guy and whispered something.

Seraphim disappeared and a black symbol appeared behind the Heartless and it was briefly covered in black thorns and rose petals. The number 15 appeared above the guy's head and he was sent flying by a powerful whirlwind from Seraphim's scythe after having once again cut Nomu's arm off.

"Can you move?" he asked him.

Aizawa tried to get up using his right leg, but the pain that caused almost made him vomit and left dark spots dancing in front of him. He instead focused on getting the severed hand off his arm.

"No. He crushed my hip. What did you do?"

"You see the number above his head?"

He did. It now said 14.

"14 more hits and he will go down regardless of how hard you hit him."

He could decide how many hits it would take to take someone down? Damn, what was this guy's quirk? As amazing as being able to do that, he also noticed that the warping villain, Kurogiri, had returned to the villain with all the hands. Hands guy was apparently named Shigaraki Tomura and Aizawa was able to hear the end of their conversation.

"Before leaving, let's leave a few dead kids…" Shigaraki said and Aizawa's heart sank to the pit of his stomach as the villain rushed towards three students at the edge of the Flood Zone he had not noticed before.

"To wound the pride of the symbol of peace!" Shigaraki declared and shot his hand out towards Asui to disintegrate her.

Aizawa immediately erased Shigaraki's quirk.

"Seraphim! The students!" he called as the Heartless jumped in front of Midoriya's and Tanpopo's attempt to attack Shigaraki.

Seraphim was already rushing towards them and shouting something.

"STRELITZIA!"

Surprise! Strelitizia isn't as dead as Lauriam thought!

A side note, I started writing this in he summer of 2020, so some things may not line up with the story of KH: Union X or the little we have seen of KH4 since none of it had been released yet. Just in case somethings pops up that doesn't 100% line up with KH canon. I decided to keep the story as much as I had from the begining with some changes that were needed.

I really had to edit what Shigaraki said to Eraser Head, since his original analyse of how Erasure works in the manga, but in purely written form really kills the pace. Also, reguritating pure canon dialog is really exhausting to write for some reason.

Chapter 5 will be released 25th of April.
