Chapter Fifty
Old Acquaintances
Serena's blood ran cold the moment she heard the name. It was one Serena hadn't heard in over two years. And it was clear Dorothy had figured out rather quickly that she was one in the same person. But maybe Serena should've known better than to think Dorothy wouldn't easily be fooled.
"Oh my god…" Dorothy's hand flew to her mouth. "Aria Clark!?"
"Dorothy Catalonia," Serena said as her eyes narrowed at the other woman. "It's been a while."
"You two know each other?" Quatre asked, looking between them. Catherine had moved to stand next to Serena. Her expression mirrored that of Quatre. Confusion.
"Yes, yes we do," Dorothy said calmly after a moment. "Isn't it such a surprise to see you here of all places?" Dorothy asked as she spread her arms. "Do tell me, how have you been, Miss Aria? Or what is it now?"
"Serena, though I'm sure you already know that."
"Ah yes, Miss Serena. May I ask how you came up with such an interesting name?"
"If I told you, you know I'd have to kill you," Serena's lips curled up. Dorothy's eyes grew wide for a moment before she collected herself.
"Dorothy? Serena?" Quatre asked nervously. "How exactly do you know each other?"
"Mutual acquaintance," Serena offered.
"What mutual acquaintances?" Trowa asked as he moved closer to her. Serena remembered that she had told Trowa that she knew Dorothy, on a more personal level, but she never divulged how they knew each other.
Serena looked up at him, softening her face. She didn't want Trowa worrying or thinking something was wrong. This was her fault after all, for not telling him the truth. But Serena had never expected to run into Dorothy, much less have her be standing in the apartment along with Quatre.
"Well, this is interesting," Dorothy purred. "Quatre, you forgot to mention that Trowa was involved with such an intriguing individual." Serena snapped her head back to Dorothy. "You never answered my question from earlier. How have you been?"
Quatre glanced at Dorothy before turning back to Serena. He had purposely left that detail out of his conversation with Dorothy. The warning Serena had sent Dorothy only confirmed that Trowa and her were involved. Coupled with the fact Trowa had taken a step closer to Serena.
Quatre knew he needed to focus, read between the lines along with listening to the conversation, and prompt the appropriate questions when necessary. Though Quatre had a feeling he wouldn't be doing much talking, even with the mystery surrounding Serena growing in his head.
"You should know," Serena said flatly.
"Last I knew you ran off. Poor Michael was devastated by it," Dorothy said.
"Who's Michael?" Trowa asked Serena.
"No one," Serena said quickly, never taking her eyes off of Dorothy. "You still speak with him?"
"Of course I do. Michael was at the Charity Ball last night. Still missing you as always."
"Such a shame," Serena said as she moved a hand to her hip. "Should've killed him when I had the chance."
"What!?" Dorothy's eyes grew wide.
"He was merely a pest. You know that as well as I do," Serena's eyes tightened. "Always looking for the next best thing."
"How dare you," Dorothy seethed.
"Seems someone still can't handle rejection well."
"Michael was a business partner," Dorothy said, turning her chin up.
"Oh, yes, if I remember correctly you wanted him to help fund a repair project for L4?" Serena smiled wickedly. "But that wasn't all of it was it?"
"What do you know?" Dorothy seethed.
"You were in over your head, Catalonia. I was the one who pulled him from that project," Serena deadpanned. Dorothy's eyes grew wide.
"We lost millions because of that!" Dorothy shouted. Quatre could feel the tension rising in the room, along with the confusion from others. Quatre wondered what else he didn't know about the situation the two were referring to along with Serena's involvement in it.
"It was for your good," Serena said. Quatre saw Trowa try to turn Serena to face him. The corner was evident on his face.
"Serena?" Trowa asked, holding Serena's shoulders.
"Don't worry, Trowa. Dorothy just has some pent-up anger towards me. I guess you haven't been able to let go of that?" Serena looked back at Dorothy.
"You!" Dorothy pointed a finger at Serena. "Are beyond words. What kind of game are you playing this time!?" Dorothy swung her eyes to Trowa. "You better watch yourself. She's nothing but lies and betrayal!"
"I could say the same about you," Serena chuckled as she moved away from Trowa.
"How dare you… I'm not some heartless bitch who runs around playing with someone only to leave them for no reason!" Dorothy seethed.
"Heartless bitch huh? I've been called worse. Though Michael wasn't as much fun as I thought he would be."
"You..." Dorothy was fuming and Quatre knew it was only a matter of minutes before she would explode. He knew he needed to do something and defuse the situation.
"I played his little game, but Michael was the only one to lose," Serena said as she walked closer to Dorothy. "You can't fight fire with fire. If anything I did you a favor. I should've wrapped my hands around his neck-"
"Stop!" Dorothy yelled. Taking a few deep breaths, Dorothy calmed herself. "While I may agree with you, killing him wouldn't have helped," Dorothy said calmly. Serena's eyes flashed.
"How much do you know?" Serena asked.
"More than you think," Dorothy collected herself as she brushed imagery lines from her dress. "I will put our past aside for the time being." Serena nodded her head before taking a step back from Dorothy.
"I think we owe them an explanation," Serena said.
Quatre released a breath he didn't know he was holding. He was ready to jump in and stop them if things got more intense than they already were. But Quatre would be lying if he said that he wasn't grateful for the fact Dorothy and Serena seemed to be on the same page.
"Damn right you do!" Catherine said. "Within the last twenty-four hours, I've learned my brother is dating some girl who he happened to stumble upon while out on a mission. No offense Serena." Serena lifted her brow but said nothing. "Then I find out that you two know each other. Dorothy, we've been friends for years, and…" the words died on Catherine's lips. "Oh my…"
"What?" Serena asked. Turning fully to face Catherine.
"You're the girl Dorothy spoke about from the New Year's Eve party," Catherina said.
Serena racked her brain for the information. But she came up empty-handed. Frowning, Serena looked to Dorothy for the answer. Serena didn't want to admit it but she had a feeling that memory wasn't shown to her for a reason.
"Yes… she was the girl I told you about. At the time I hadn't learned your full name till after the festivities ended."
"What happened?" Serena narrowed her eyes.
"That was the night Michael first introduced you to his company. Don't you remember?" Dorothy asked. Serena shook her head.
"Did anything happen?"
"No, you were the main conversation of the night though. People couldn't seem to get enough of you. They had praised you as the perfect potential wife for him with your knowledge in accounting and finances, you would have benefited his company greatly."
"Hm," Serena wasn't sure she wanted to know what had transpired that night. If she had no recollection of it, chances were J hadn't shown her. But the question was why hadn't he?
"Why don't we all sit," Quatre said, bringing Serena's attention to him. "It seems like we have a lot to discuss."
Once everyone had settled into a seat, Catherine, Dorothy, and Quatre took a seat on the couch while Serena sat on the arm of the chair Trowa was in. Serena felt his hand come to rest on her back.
"What can you tell me about Michael?" Serena asked Dorothy, breaking the silence.
"Nothing you don't already know. He hasn't changed much other than his bank account has grown over the last two years."
"How?"
"That information I'm not privileged to," Dorothy said with a smirk.
"Hm, how much information do you have on Michael?"
"Concerning what?" Dorothy asked as she crossed her legs over one another. "If you're wondering about his business practices I can tell you he's become interested in Winner Corp again. He came to me not long ago asking if we could try again with a deal," Dorothy said.
Serena didn't like that. Something was telling her if Michael was looking to join up with Winner's company something must have changed. Why would Edwards or even Gavin want to try again?
"As far as Michael's other business deals, the word is he's been working in one of the largest underground markets."
"What trade is he in?" Serena asked.
"Material goods," Dorothy said as she placed her hands in her lap. Serena frowned, that wasn't much to go on. "That information I haven't been able to find out more about. Though I heard rumors beforehand that Michael had been in the business for some time. Probably before you met him," Dorothy elaborated.
Serena's eyes narrowed more as she looked at Dorothy. That was something she hadn't known. But Serena wasn't going to doubt Dorothy's words. It could've been another reason Edwards or Gavin wanted Michael so badly.
"Are you talking about Michael Faulkner?" Quatre asked, looking between Dorothy and her.
"Yes," Serena said. "Three years ago he wanted to invest in your company."
"Yes, I remember. He wanted to help finish the solar paneling to the outer walls of the Colony," Quatre started. Serena felt Trowa's hand move on her back. "I only met Michael a few times before the deal was pulled. You were the reason why?"
"Yes," Serena said. It was another failed attempt at ending ROE. "When I learned who Michael was planning to work with I couldn't allow it to happen. I took the steps necessary to have him withdraw his offer or to have you back out. Though someone didn't care much for that," Serena said glaring at Dorothy. "You were in over your head, Dorothy, and snooping around trying to dig up information on someone like Michael would've only gotten yourself killed."
"What are you talking about?" Trowa asked.
"Michael was given a generous amount of money to try and convince Quatre to partner with him on future projects. If Quatre took the money to finish the solar paneling, then Michael could work on other things. Like sourcing trade between ROE and L4. Not to mention Quatre still owns a few resources satellites. If everything had gone as planned, Michael would've been given a position within the government Edwards was hoping to create," Serena said looking at Trowa.
"Then why didn't you ever say anything about him before?" Trowa frowned at her.
"Because the deal fell through. Edwards dropped Michael and I returned to my regular duties. It wasn't worth pursuing him." Serena tried to not sound so harsh. She knew she was coming off that way and it wasn't Trowa's fault.
"Because of you," Dorothy seethed. Serena swung her head back towards the couch.
"You would've gotten yourself killed," Serena repeated. "Quatre was a target whether he knew it or not. How would it look if Winner Corp was involved with a group looking to take over the Earth's Sphere and Colonies? Not to mention it's a generally known fact who all the Gundam pilots are."
"Serena's right. I may not be up to speed on all of this but to have my name tied to a group like this would mean disaster for not just me but the company as a whole. Everyone would be investigated and we'd end up losing everything. It's taken me so long to build back up the Winner name that something like this could ruin everything."
"You wouldn't have been around long enough to see that," Serena said, turning her head away. Serena saw Quatre frown and knew he was upset by what she had said. But it was the truth.
"Are you saying Quatre is still a target!?" Dorothy asked from her spot next to Quatre.
"You're all targets based on who you are. Not to mention your close ties to Relena."
"Relena!?" Dorothy's face had gone pale.
"There was an attempt on her life a few weeks ago. Serena managed to help stop it but it became clear what we were dealing with," Trowa answered vaguely.
"You mean to tell me you work for this ROE and that Relena's life is in jeopardy!? Not to mention the rest of us as well!?" Dorothy asked, pointing a finger at Serena. "What I can't understand is why you're not locked up in some cell while Preventers handles this? It's obvious you're the root of this problem!"
"Dorothy!" Quatre yelled. "Serena's been working for Preventers as a Liaison. She's been helping to gather information."
"I don't need you defending my actions, Winner," Serena turned hard eyes to Quatre. "Without me, Preventers wouldn't have known anything about ROE or their intentions. Had Watson succeeded in killing Relena, they still would've been without anything. It only would've allowed ROE to take advantage and propelled them into acting sooner rather than later. My leaving has bought us some time, but how much I don't know. It's already been over a month and we're still not any closer to finding the location of their main headquarters or my Gundam."
"Gundam!?" Catherine, Dorothy, and Quatre echoed in unison. Serena placed a hand on her head knowing none of this conversation was going to go over well.
Not only did she have Quatre trying to read her, but Dorothy's bitterness towards her wasn't helping either. Catherine looked like she was about to fly off the couch and hit her. Serena just wanted the whole conversation to end and to end quickly. Trowa must've sensed her discomfort as he placed a hand on her leg.
"ROE has a Gundam; Serena's Gundam, along with an unknown number of mobile suits. We're to believe the Gundam was completed and is being housed somewhere in Space but we haven't been able to track down the location yet," Trowa said.
"If it's your suit, why wouldn't you know?" Quatre asked Serena.
"The suit was built in separate locations. I only had access to the cockpit. The only good news is no one else can pilot it but me." Serena moved her hand back to her lap. But Serena didn't dare reach to touch Trowa's hand, even though he was trying to comfort her.
"I doubt that," Dorothy scoffed.
"The ZERO system is programmed to me and me only. If anyone else tried to use my suit, the system wouldn't respond. Even if you managed to power up the machine, you wouldn't be able to do anything."
"You're able to use the ZERO system?" Quatre asked.
"Yes," Serena nodded her head. "It's an advanced version of the one you used."
Quatre looked at her funny for a moment, before nodding his head. Serena just hoped Quatre wouldn't press her for more information on the system itself. Or her Gundam. Serena had a feeling Catherine would, indeed, fly off the couch to hit her. Though Dorothy would likely enjoy seeing that. Serena was pretty sure that if Dorothy had been given the chance three years ago, she would've hit her.
"What exactly does ROE plan to do?" Quatre looked between her and Trowa waiting for one of them to answer. Trowa squeezed Serena's leg gaining her attention.
"Quatre may be able to help. He has the resources and connections," Trowa said quietly.
"I'm already endangering enough people as is. Asking Quatre to come in on this-"
"Whatever you need, I'll do it. I just need to know what's going on," Quatre said, cutting Serena off. After a moment, Serena nodded her head at Trowa. Trowa turned to look at everyone before taking a deep breath.
After some arguing and much to his relief, Trowa finished informing everyone of everything they knew. While he still left out some details, like Serena beating Edman till he passed out, Trowa had told them everything he thought was important.
Catherine, who hadn't heard the full truth till now was looking anything but pleased with him, or rather him and Serena. Trowa had been grateful that Serena had felt out certain things when they had first met, but now it seemed like that was coming back to bite them both in the ass.
Dorothy and Serena had gotten into another argument only to have Quatre step in and defuse it before Trowa was able to continue.
Tension was still running high in the room, but it seemed like everyone was starting to settle down.
"So you're at a standstill?" Quatre asked after a few moments of silence.
"Pretty much," Serena said. "Without knowing where my suit is we can't do too much, other than wait for them to make another move, but that's not an option either."
"Not necessarily," Dorothy said. "You just need to find someone willing to talk."
"And who would that be?" Serena rolled her eyes at Dorothy. There was a long pause before Serena spoke again. "Dorothy, you said earlier that you still speak with Michael?"
"What are you getting at?" Dorothy narrowed her eyes.
"I need a favor."
"A favor? From me?" Dorothy laughed. "Well if that isn't the funniest thing I've heard all day."
"Michael just might be that person willing to talk, and who better to get him to talk than you?"
"I don't do favors, especially for people like you," Dorothy glared at Serena as she folded her arms over her chest.
"Liar," Serena said. Dorothy's glare hardened. "You do them all the time, especially for people like me."
"When one does a favor of this nature, they expect something in return," Dorothy countered.
"You'd be saving millions of lives," Serena offered.
"I wouldn't be considered the hero in this situation. I'm not sticking my neck out for nothing."
"Dorothy," Quatre turned to her. "If we can help then we should. What I don't understand is why no one contacted me when all this came about," Quatre said, looking at Serena and Trowa. "I may not be full time but I can always help."
"You weren't informed during the arrests made on L4?" Trowa asked.
"No, and what arrests?" Quatre looked baffled.
"Why would Une purposely not tell Quatre?" Serena asked Trowa directly. "I even know Quatre's part-time, but for something like this, especially on his Colony, why wouldn't Une have called him?" Trowa thought on, something he hadn't done before. They weren't even told until the meeting.
"The only thing I can think of is that Une felt it best to keep Quatre out of all of this," Trowa looked at Quatre before turning to face Serena. "Think about it, if any of them saw Quatre coming to arrest them for their involvement with ROE it could've set off a chain reaction. Word would've gotten out fast and we could've lost some of those people. You said so yourself that they all know who we are, it would've been a dead giveaway."
"Hm," Serena closed her eyes. "Makes sense, but to not inform him in the first place makes me wonder. I hadn't bothered to ask Une myself. Une said she was going to handle it."
"If I may," Quatre started. "From my understanding, from what I've been told at least, is that you're not even supposed to be known to anyone, Serena. Une could've left me out of everything for that reason alone. She knows I'd drop everything if I was truly needed. If anything I can ask her myself," Quatre offered a smile.
"Une's going to be so thrilled," Serena grumbled.
"I wouldn't worry. I'm sure I was bound to find out sooner or later," Quatre laughed. "Besides, I'm guessing you'll be staying here now?" Quatre gestured to both of them.
"Oh, I think she will be," Catherine smiled brightly. "I expect lots of nieces and nephews," winking at Serena and him.
"What!?" Serena slipped from the arm of the chair, falling into Trowa's lap.
"Don't start now!" Catherine teased. Serena quickly stood, giving Trowa an apologetic look before she turned to face everyone again.
"I want you to set up that meeting with Michael and make it happen soon. We don't have much time and we need to find out where they are and where my Gundam is," Serena directed her words at Dorothy.
"I'll think about it."
"Dorothy," Serena let out a low growl.
"Fine," Dorothy waved a hand at her. "I'll call him tomorrow on our way back to L4 and schedule something."
"I expect you to contact me with confirmation."
"Contact you?" Dorothy's eyebrows rose. "I can always just contact Heero or Trowa after."
"I want you to call me," Serena said before she left the living room making her way into the kitchen. Grabbing a pad and pen she wrote something down.
"Call the minute you hang up with him. Do I make myself clear?" Serena asked as she handed Dorothy the pieces of paper. Dorothy looked at the paper, then back at Serena before she took it from Serena's hand.
"Why is it so important that I call you?" Dorothy asked.
"Because I know how much you hated Aria," Serena's lips curled up. Dorothy eyed her carefully. "I hated her too." Dorothy sat back watching Serena for a moment longer before her lips turned up.
"I never did like her. But she was good at her job," Dorothy said.
"She never enjoyed the way Michael played the game."
"Straight to the point," Dorothy said. "That was a quality I admired."
"I don't play unnecessary games," Serena smirked. Dorothy stood, smoothing out her dress,
"As you should. I'll contact you when I have any information. But we must be on our way. We have lunch plans with Relena and Heero."
"You're not going to tell them anything are you?" Serena asked.
"Of course not," Dorothy flipped some of her hair behind her shoulder. "I'm not that foolish, Miss Serena."
"Good."
It wasn't just Quatre who was dumbfounded by the change between Dorothy and Serena. The two had gone from insulting each other at various times to smiling at one another. Quatre glanced at Trowa and noticed the raised eyebrow as he stared at them.
Catherine had leaned close enough to him to whisper "what's with them?" Quatre could only shake his head. Quatre knew he would have to speak with Dorothy when they were alone.
Standing up, Quatre joined Dorothy. He extended his hand out to Serena.
"It was a pleasure to meet you, Serena. I hope next time we'll be able to talk more." Serena took his hand and he was surprised at how firmly she had grasped it.
"Nice meeting you, Winner," Serena said, but what Quatre felt had him rooted in place.
Within the short span that their hands had been joined, Quatre felt the same emotions he had the night before, only more profound this time. It was like an electric shock and it took everything he had within himself not to react to it.
Sheer pain, sadness, and confusion. It was so overpowering that Quatre almost missed the smallest hints of happiness. How could someone like Serena mask everything so well? Quatre looked into her eyes and even though her face betrayed nothing, Serena's eyes showed the same emotions.
Why is Serena hurting so much?
"You better get going. Don't want to be late," Serena's smirk told Quatre that she knew. Serena knew he was reading into her and that he had felt something.
Dropping his hand back to his side, Quatre debated saying something, but after a glance around the room, he realized it wasn't the best time to speak with Serena. They needed to be alone and even if he managed that before he and Dorothy left, Quatre had a feeling Serena wasn't going to share anything with him.
Trowa drew him out of his thoughts as he came to stand next to Serena, offering his hand.
"It was good to see you, Quatre."
"It was good seeing you too, Trowa," Quatre smiled as he shook his friend's hand.
Quatre noticed how happy Trowa looked and even more how he felt. Trowa was beaming on the inside. Was he in love? Quatre watched as Trowa wrapped an arm around Serena, pulling her closer. Trowa's smile said it all, he was in love with Serena.
"Does anyone know about you two?" Quatre blurted out without thinking.
"Just you guys," Trowa chuckled. Serena seemed anything but pleased but she concealed it well.
"I'm sure I don't have to explain to you not to say anything," Serena said flatly.
"Ah," Dorothy said. "This is why you don't want us saying anything to Relena and Heero. I'm guessing someone wouldn't be too thrilled to find out about this intriguing relationship."
And just like that, whatever had changed between Serena and Dorothy ended. Serena was glaring at Dorothy while Dorothy's smile only widened. Before anything else could be said, Dorothy moved to hug Catherine goodbye. Quatre followed suit, saying his goodbyes before Trowa walked them both to the door.
Quatre's head was spinning as they walked down the hallway to the elevator. From the moment Trowa opened the door till the time they left, none of it had gone how Quatre had hoped it would. In the end, it only left him more confused.
"Dorothy?" Quatre waited till Dorothy had put her phone away before continuing. "What do you think of Serena?"
"That's a loaded question," Dorothy said while she placed a hand on her hip. "Why do you want to know my opinion?"
"Because of the way the two of you acted." Quatre sent her a disapproving look. Hoping she'd understand that he wasn't exactly happy with her about it.
"Oh, that?" Dorothy waved a hand. "Serena and I just understand each other."
"What do you mean?" Quatre was skeptical, to say the least.
When they heard the ding of the elevator, Dorothy turned to wait for the doors to open. Once they opened, she took a step forward before glancing over her shoulder.
"I can respect someone who can play on the same playing field as myself."
With that she swung her head around, letting her hair fall back around her shoulders. Quatre stood still as he stared at Dorothy with wide eyes.
Dorothy liked Serena?
"Are you coming? We don't have all day," Dorothy said as she tapped her foot. Her finger was pressing what Quatre assumed was the button to keep the doors open.
Shaking himself, Quatre stepped onto the elevator with her. If his mind was spinning before, now it was a full-fledged tornado.

Happy Friday!
Well, are any of you confused? Good, you should be. There's a lot to unpack here, now isn't there?
So we learn that Dorothy and Serena know each other, or rather Dorothy knows Aria Clark, another name Serena went by. It also appears that Serena is slipping up as well. Serena probably shouldn't have looked at Trowa the way she did. Dorothy isn't foolish by any means.
Quatre seems just as confused and concerned as the rest of them. Out of everything, what were the chances of Serena having had contact with anyone of them? Not to mention, Serena never told anyone, at least not in detail how she knew Dorothy. Whoops. There's also the fact that Quatre was able to learn that Trowa and Serena were somehow involved with each other. But let's go back to Dorothy and Serena.
It appears this Michael guy has played a big role in something. If you remember back, some odd number of chapters ago, I told you guys to pay attention to the names in one of the scenes. We learn that Edwards was using Michael to gain access to some things that Quatre has access to. It would be easier to have open trading between L4 and ROE had this business deal gone through. But it seems as though Serena risked a lot to make sure not only that the deal wouldn't go through, but to also protect Quatre? Hmm, very interesting that Serena would do this. Regardless, it would appear that Dorothy did not take kindly to this and held a grudge against Serena for costing Winner Copr millions of dollars. Some name-calling happens, but I guess Serena has been called worse than a bitch. As well as the fact Dorothy and Serena know way more than either of them is letting on. But alas, both Dorothy and Serena are able to put things aside, for the most part, to explain to everyone how they know each other.
Also, it seems that Dorothy and Catherine have a friendship. Seems like an odd pairing, but hey, I'm not questioning it, so neither should you.
Anyways, we learn some more about Michael and his business dealings. Seems he likes to party and spend money, but hey, if you got it, why not? All of this is important information, so just make sure you file more of that away in your mind somewhere. What I want to focus more on is the fact that Serena talks about not being shown a memory. And she's questioning why J didn't show her this memory of a party she attended. Seems... odd and out of place, considering what we know about Serena thus far. There's some more back and forth and then the big bomb is dropped. Serena has a Gundam.
Catherine, btw, poor Catherine finally learning more of the truth. If you pictured her wanting to jump off that couch and punch Serena in the face, then congrats, because that's exactly what I picture her wanting to do. But at the same time, Catherine is over here telling Serena and Trowa she wants lots of nieces and nephews, so clearly she had BIG plans for her brother and one day, hopefully, sister-in-law. Catherine may be getting ahead of herself, but can you blame her?
Catherine, Dorothy, and Quatre get filled in on what's been going on and Quatre is finally learning more of the story in regards to Serena. Quatre, being the amazing person he is offers to help without a second thought, but it seems Serena has other ideas. Serena asked Dorothy for a favor because they both hate Aria Clark. Guess Aria was a real bitch, hahaha. Or is it because Serena hated playing some character? Either way, Dorothy agrees to help. Along with Quatre, I think we all knew he'd help regardless.
At the end here, we see Quatre truly getting the opportunity to read into Serena. Think he's a little taken aback by what he feels? I'd say so. While we knew there was more going on with Serena than she lets on most of the time, it seems although we're getting a lot more information about her in the last few chapters. We know she's hurting, but why? Is Serena sad because of everything that's happened or what's going to possibly happen? Or is it because of what she told Trowa? But let's not forget, that Serena is feeling something other than all this pain and sadness, she's happy. Or at least a little.
This chapter of crazy confusion finally comes to an end with Dorothy admitting to liking Serena. Which now has thrown Quatre off even more. But did anyone pick up on the fact Dorothy was still insulting Serena by calling her Miss? So does Dorothy truly like Serena? Or is she just playing nice to please her man? Also, do you think Dorothy will keep her mouth shut and not tell Heero and Relena that she not only knows Serena but that Serena and Trowa are dating? (Do you like how Trowa says that only they know that Serena and he are dating? Wonder if he's trying to cover for them, though it didn't work out well the last time.)
I'll see you all on Monday for chapter 51, Final Moments. Geez, that's one hell of a title if I don't say so myself. Any guesses as to what's about to happen?

A friend made a comment and I'd like to share it with everyone. Dorothy and her magical eyebrows seem to know everything, hahah! Other comments were said, but we'll stick to being PG here. But our chats have some funny comments regarding certain characters. I really need to add more about these eyebrows in the future, because my friend made a valid point... they are damn magical! Haha.
