Chapter 4
A Quiet Day in Pallet Town
Two weeks had passed since Ash arrived back in Pallet Town, a lot has happened since then.
Most of Ash's time was spent learning how to transform from Professor Oak's Ditto, which paid off as now he was able to transform back into a human. He could also turn into almost every Pokémon he'd seen over the years, almost being that he couldn't transform into Mewtwo.
Mewtwo was also present during all the lessons determined to learn how to transform so he could be a trainer himself. He also learned how to cook from Delia, for the purpose of making his own food during his journey through the region. Ash was also roped into the cooking lesson thanks in par to his mom.
Ursaring, in the two weeks. Mainly helped Delia with the housework or with her garden, he also helped with giving some Berry picking tips to Ash and Mewtwo.
Right now though Ash was lounging around watching a rerun of the Indigo League Conference ten years ago.
"Each Trainer is now down to their last Pokémon this will decide who'll become this years Indigo League champion." The announcer getting the crowd excited.
"Pikachu, let's do this!"
"Charizard, let's go."
"Looks like Red sends out his Pikachu and Blue sends out his Charizard."
"Battle... Begin!"
"Pikachu, thunderbolt!"
"Dodge it Charizard!" Charizard dodged. "Great work, now fire blast!"
"Pikachu, dodge it!" Pikachu dodged and avoided the incoming fire blast. "Now! Thunderbolt!"
This time Charizard couldn't dodge in time and was hit with the super effective move.
"Make a dust cloud Charizard! Obscure yourself!"One the dust cloud was up Blue called for another attack. "Charizard, hyperbeam now!"
"Pikachu, thunderbolt!"
Blue had a smirk on his face. It disappeared soon after Charizard fire his attack. The Pikachu was no longer there, it was behind Charizard.
"End this! Thunderbolt!" Pikachu releaseed it's most powerful thunderbolt ever.
Both Pokémon fell to the ground with a thud, the referee went over to the Pokémon. Pikachu crawled out of the dust cloud when the referee arrived. The referee then checked Charizard, it was knocked out.
"Charizard is unable to battle. Red is the winner!" The entire crowd erupted into applause.
'Well that was an impressive win.' Mewtwo said, spooking Ash.
"Yeah it was awesome, when I first saw this battle that was the spark that made me want to be a trainer." Ash said after he recovered from the jump scare.
'I can certainly see why.'
"So Mewtwo did you get permission from the Professor."
'I did, but on one condition. I travel with you on your journey.'
"Why?"
'Those were his conditions.'
"What's the harm in travelin' together? If anythin' it makes it easier, ya got someone ya trust ta watch ya back and someone ta help ya if ya injured." Ursaringsaid as he walked into the room
"Okay yeah that makes sense." Mewtwo also nodded in agreement.
"Actually, Mewtwo. have ya got transform down? 'Cause I haven't seen if ya even got a human form."
'Sadly I don't.'
"Maybe you could into another Pokémon and just use telepathy to communicate."
"That's a good point Ash, I think I remember some talk about a group of psychic types becoming trainers, though I dunno if those were true or not."
"I think I remember Samuel talking that exact thing a few months back." Delia provided, as she brought everyone some snacks.
"I guess that solves that."
{A Few Hours Later}
"Yo, Ash you in there?" Gary said as he knocked on the front door.
Ash opened the door, accidentally spooking Gary.
Gary sighed and thought to himself. 'I should really get used to Ash being a Mew.'
"So... Gary. Why are you here?"
"I just wanted to hang out, it's only a few days until we become trainers and we won't be seeing much of each other."
"Why won't we being each other?"
"I told gramps earlier that I wanted to start in Johto, he agreed so..."
"Well, I hope you have fun there. Be sure to give it your all in the League or else I'll come over there and make you."
"You don't have teleport."
"Not yet I don't." Ash smirked.
