v0rt3x: I don't know why this took as long as it did, but here's Chapter 7. Also Ursaring will basically act as the Mr. Mime of this universe.

Chapter 7
Route 1
Ash, Mewtwo, Pikachu, Elaine, and Charmander are currently in Ash's house, with said Mew preparing his backpack for the trek to Viridian and Mewtwo doing the same with his duffle bag.
Elaine, in that time, met with Ash's mom, she was very nice, cooks great food too.
Charmander, who she also got to meet, was a cheerful mon, very positive about her trainer and the adventure she was about to go on. Elaine was of course excited for it as well.
Elaine also met with Ursaring, he was nice, if a bit intimidating if you haven't talked to the him yet.
Though she was still able to find a few topics Ursaring could bounce off of.
A few minutes of packing and goodbyes later the group of mons set off for Route 1.
Mewtwo disguised himself as a Riolu, even though no Riolu or it's evolved form have ever been sighted in Kanto outside of Rota.
But it was better than some of the options he came up with.
Elaine and Pikachu were talking about what life was like before meeting with Ash. Elaine was surprised to hear the story about her trainer meeting up with Pikachu before they were even a Pikachu.
The conversation went on for a while, until a sound caught both Pikachu's and Elaine's ears.
It was the sound of Pokémon fighting. They alerted Ash and Mewtwo about it, instantly they both stopped walking, made their way quietly towards a bush, peeked over it to see if they could spot what was making all that noise.
They found out it was a Pidgey, Spearow and Charmander.
"Fight me!" A Charmander said to a Spearow and Pidgey.
"We don't... want to fight!" Pidgey said, sounding very out of breath. It was female from what Ash and Mewtwo could gather.
"So... Leave Us... Alone!" Spearow said, also sounding very out of breath, even more so than Pidgey. This time it was male.
"Hey Charmander, if you want a fight you got one right here." Pikachu intervened the imminent clash between the two bird and the fire lizard.
Charmander looked over the electric mouse and smirked. "Heh, you look like a weakling."
Charmander then got into a battle stance and said. "Come on then."
Pikachu used volt tackle to start off, but Charmander was faster and set up a smokescreen before they connected, causing Pikachu to miss, tumbling across the grass as the momentum of the attack carried him forward.
Pikachu retaliated with a quick attack mixed with nuzzle, paralysing the Charmander on contact.
Pikachu charged up another volt tackle, charging at the still paralyzed fire lizard and this time volt tackle connected, making the Charmander roll across the grass and straight into a tree.
Charmander wasn't quite done yet however and retaliated with a powerful dragon breath when Pikachu was still recovering from his most recent attack.
Pikachu panicked at the sight of the incoming dragon breath, launching bolts of electricity everywhere, hitting Charmander and, accidentally, the birds. He was going to have to apologize once they wake up.
The battle was decided though, Charmander fainted on the spot once the attack was over.
Ash and Mewtwo quickly made their way to the injured Pokémon, grabbing the potions from their bags.
They applied the potion on the knocked out Pokémon, Ash healing Pikachu in the process.
They also applied a bandage with Berry mash for the burned areas and to further aid the healing process.
Once everyone's injuries were treated the group, who were conscious, waited for the others to wake up.
Pidgey and Spearow groaned, feeling phantom pains of the electric shock they experienced. They also felt some kind of dry substance sticking to their feathers. They tried to move, but heard a voice, spooking the both of them stiff.
"Don't move yet, the paste has to stay on a few more minutes after that you're free, okay?"
"Okay." They both said to the mysterious stranger treating their injuries.
Another voice then came in, this time it was the Pikachu they saw fight the very aggressive Charmander.
"Sorry, for the shock. I kinda panicked back there. Pun not intended by the way."
The two birds cawed at the joke, their form of laughing.
After the few minutes were up the sticky Berry mash was removed and the two birds finally got a good look at the human who treated them.
He was a Pokémon trainer, if the Poké Balls on his belt were anything to go by. He had lightning-like marks on both of his cheeks, that the two birds thought was a bit weird.
There was a Riolu next to him, Pidgey and Spearow recognized them from the occasional visit to Rota. The Pikachu that electrocuted them was also there talking with an Eevee, that from what the two have heard from the conversation, was named Elaine.
The two also saw the Charmander that had been chasing them from all the way back from Pewter City.
A few minutes pass and Pidgey and Spearow got to know a little bit about the group of Pokémon.
The first thing they found out was that the human wasn't actually a humans and the Riolu wasn't actually a Riolu.
They were shocked stiff when the human turned out to be a Mew. The Riolu turned into something they couldn't recognize at all.
Though once Ash, who Pikachu introduced the Mew as, told his story of how he became what he is now, the two kinda felt bad, but Ash tried to reassure them there were more positive things about his new body anyway.
Ash also explained some of Mewtwo's origins to the birds, who were very surprised to hear the whole cloning procedure with the goal of making the strongest Pokémon in the world.
Another few minutes pass and Charmander, the one who was chasing Pidgey and Spearow, woke up.
Charmander's arms and legs felt very numb, probably from the paralysis. He groaned and forced himself up, not noticing another Charmander tending to the fire next to him.
"Hey, guys! He's awake!"
Charmander barely caught the message, but he could hear that the one speaking was female. Was he still in the forest? Who was the voice talking about? He didn't know. He blinked, trying to clear up his vision, eventually seeing the fire that burned in front of him and the Charmander beside it.
"So, uhh... hi, I guess."
Charmander's eyes widened, she was the voice from earlier. But why was she here? Was she abandoned as well? And who were the people she was calling?
The answer eventually came when a Mew, a Riolu, a Pikachu, an Eevee and both of the birds he attacked earlier, he didn't know how he could tell but he could. Arrived, carrying with them a sack's worth of berries and vegetables.
He also saw the Mew was carrying a pot that had water inside of it. The Mew placed the pot over the fire and waited for it to boil, meanwhile the other Pokémon placed the gathered berries and vegetables on a piece of cloth the Mew pulled out of a bag.
Charmander was very confused, why was a Mew doing this, why were they cooking? And why did they have a bag, that's something Charmander has only seen trainers wear.
'Could they be a trainer?' He questioned silently to himself. It was a possibility, Mew were able to change into almost every Pokémon in the entire world, but he's never heard of a Mew being able to turn into a human.
He decided he would explore this train of thought at a later date, his still aching head will appreciate it.
After a few minutes of just sitting around the Mew passed around the soup that they made to the other Pokémon around the fire, he of course was included.
The soup was nice, it tasted like meat, even though there wasn't any present in the soup at all.
"So Charmander, why did you attack them." The Mew said pointing to the two bird Pokémon.
Charmander was caught of guard, the Mew just spoke human.
"Uhm... Hello?" The Mew waved a paw in front of him.
"Uh, sorry. I was just surprised." Charmander said shaking head to calm down.
"And as for why I attacked them. It's because of my trainer, or should i say former trainer, he abandoned me, left me here. Telling me I was worthless and weak. He commanded his Gengar to make sure I didn't come crawling back, once I woke up they were gone. After that I got angry at everything and everyone eventually reaching the breaking point and I just... snapped, I acted almost exactly like him, and I hated it, I absolutely hated it."
Charmander then looked towards Pikachu and said. "Thanks for snapping me out of it."
Another few minutes pass and the group of mons are doing cleanup of their small campsite.
Pidgey and Spearow in that time asked Ash if they could be his Pokémon, he agreed but asked first if this is what they truly want. Charmander liked that about the Mew, though something about the way he acts around Pokémon felt familiar to the fire lizard, he couldn't remember though and decided to drop the topic for now.
Mewtwo, who Charmander got introduced to by Ash. Was currently cleaning the pot that was used to make the soup in the river not to far from the clearing the group set up in.
Pikachu and Elaine were taking down the tent, how did they do it without falling? Charmander didn't know.
Once all the chores were done and the camping gear packed and ready, the group were ready to set off again.
Charmander waved goodbye and was about to go back into the deep parts of Route 1, but he stopped, thinking about the human form Ash assumed. He was the same kid, the same kid he met back in Oak's Lab, the same kid that would treat every Pokémon he'd met with kindness and friendship.
He ran, ran as fast as he could after the group, the hills in the way not making it very easy.
"Wait! Wait!" The group turned around to see Charmander chasing after them. They stopped and waited for him to catch up.
"Thank Arceus, I caught up to you." He panted, catching his breath. "
"Ash, I've seen you before. It was a while ago, maybe around two to four years now, I dunno. But what I'm trying to say is... can I join your team."
Ash blinked, he wasn't expecting another Pokémon he's met in the past to suddenly turn up in front of him.
He knelt down grabbed an Poké Ball from his belt and held it in front of Charmander.
"Are you sure this is what you want? You could still have some scars form your old trainer. I don't want to do anything that could hurt you. physically or mentally." All Ash got in reply was a determined nod.
Charmander tapped the button on the Poké Ball, it shook several times before settling down and giving an affirmative noise confirming the capture.
Charmander was then promptly sent back out. He was somewhat dazed coming out of the ball, but he shook it off after a few seconds.
He looked up at the sky and smiled, joining the group on their way to Viridian City.

Dialga: So this where you've been.
Victini: Hehe, hi Dialga. 'I'm doomed'
