This is a story about one of the silver red crossbreeds who mare will be searching, timelines may not line up correctly and the story may not tie in perfectly to the books. I have no involvement with the red queen series other than the fact that i read it.

A drabble about Maven's history, with a little bit of AU at the end.

Set after the events of Red Queen. Kirsi has been a soldier all her life, questioning the Silver cause she becomes an informant for the Scarlet Guard and introduces Shade to rebellion. Upon learning of his death she deserts to join permantly with the Guard. As she travels to meet up with Farley in the Waste she is followed by her mentor who has some very disturbing revelations.

In a world where everyone is divided by the colour of their blood, Mare Molly Barrow encounters an unknown girl with gifts similar to hers. She's viewed as a threat to the royal family and the history of the nation. No Red can conjure an ability. No Silver can poses more then one. These two girls deify the rules. The Scarlet Guard has been driven deep into hiding after the disastrous attack on the capital, and Maven, the new King of Norta hunts them mercilessly.
