The title has no relevance to the story, but i needed something to call it. In this story, Danny's evil future self, Dan comes back into play, stronger than ever. Danny is tested to his limits when he wakes from a coma to find his whole world taken over by Dan and uses every trick in the book to get the upper hand.

"If I asked, would you tell me?" There was a pause. "It depends, Danny." His mother's voice sounded calm enough, but her shoulders had tensed some. He sighed, ready for the plunge. "What am I?" The plate she had held clattered to the floor.

20 years after PP, Vlad has returned to earth, hellbent on taking revenge on those who 'wronged' him. The Guys in white hire Sam to track down her supposedly deceased husband to counter the threat. Daniel 'Fairburn' finds he must confront his old nemesis while running from a part of his past he cannot bring himself to face.
