17 years after the events of SCIV, A new generation of Heroes answer the call of Justice. The whole world is searching for the cursed sword. One of those is a mysterious young man, from a mysterious far off place. But his quest will throw everything and anything to stop him. To survive, our hero will have to topple great challenges, forge new alliances, and use the unbound courage that lies within him. Every corner, every shadow, every narrow crevice, lies a great evil.

With the tranquility of his home under threat by Soul Edge, Link travels to another parallel world to put an end to it. Along the way he will face many perils, encounter numerous people and undertake one of his greatest challenges: to cast the darkness from a servant of the cursed blade and bring her to the light.

Naruto, exiled from his home, leaves the Elemental Nation in sadness and 'shame' if you can call doing your job something shameful. As for Naruto he took years and traveled for a while to train before signing on with a group of Knights in Europe to hunt down Nightmare, wielder of Soul Edge to destroy the sword and save the world...but it didn't go as planned.
