One of the darkest works I have ever written, it explores the horrible lives of slaves in captivity to a Slaaneshi chaos space marine faction. A confronting look at the plight of chaos slaves, I cannot emphasise enough how grimdark this story is. Is a prequel to "Alpha Plus Psyker" showing the chaotic events surrounding the birth of the egg that will later hatch into Egg Sevenson.

The Imperial Guard is dispatched to restore order and crush the Xeno menace. Little do they know that the worlds of Lavenza are not the target of the Xeno raids, the Guard is.

The year is lost to the Immaterium and imperial records do no justice to this tale (though they are no less intriguing) and are broken, seemingly unrelated, fragments of unusual circumstances. Thus follows the near folly of the Gods, the trick of an Ethereal Jester, and the legend of the Blind Maker.
