Just a typical day in the King/Stetson household; don't want to give too much away. A sequel, of sorts, to BOYS WILL BE BOYS. (Inspired by a real-life event starring my then 17-year-old daughter.)

This story is the first of several stories that will be different scenarios that may or may not relate to one another, just my imagination of 'what' if scenarios. And will post sporadically, no real rhyme or reason to them. Is definitely AU.

So, where did that idea to use Francine's wardrobe budget for Amanda's raise come from in the tag of Murder Between Friends? Well, "what if.." we threw in this scene to fill-in that burning question.

An AU version of the episode "Mission of Gold. Amanda takes comfort in knowing her family and friends are there for support.

They never showed Lee or Amanda's birthday on the show. This is my take on how Lee would've responded about celebrating his birthday. Is AU and is in the parameters of my previous story Love's Journey, but you do not need to read it first in order to read this one.

A rom-com story on how Amanda could have been set up with Lee on Valentine's Day. Late season one.

A Valentine's story in response to the FB challenge. Lee's uncle is still underfoot and still getting under his skin with unwanted advice, but Lee has a plan to cheer himself up.

A response to the FB Christmas challenge to re-create an existing Christmas movie/story in SMK-style. For mine, I chose Dolly Parton's "Smoky Mountain Christmas" to do up Lee and Amanda-style. Set Christmas 1987. Mystery marriage is a memory.

Amanda usually the self-sufficient type, learns that it's okay to lean on someone once in a while when her family is away. And Lee learns that it's not a bad thing to actually care for someone when needed. Set in 2nd season. AU and off canon. Author's Note: As I'm currently getting over a stomach bug, this came to mind.

A follow-up to "King's Ransom" and "Fit For a King," to deal with the aftermath of the New Year's Eve party referenced in OTL. Note: I made some slight changes to the last chapter of "Fit For a King," to up the tension in this one so it might be a good idea to re-read that one and for those who haven't read the prior two stories in this series, it's a good idea to read them first.

As we watch Amanda lead the Agency's best agents around by their noses on the monitors in Billy's office in Stemwinder 1, 'what' could have been going through her mind especially after she just thought she had heard the words "I love you." come across one static-filled phone line from of all people - Lee Stetson. Set slightly before and up to Christmas of season 3. What really did happen in the swamp between Lee and Amanda during "Utopia Now" and how will they move forward? AU
