As she reflects on the old Lorule and what her future might hold, she considers her feelings towards the one who holds the greatest sway over her heart, and these realizations do not come easy.

Their fates intertwined since long before they were born, Zelda and Link find themselves on the surface below Skyloft. Zelda must come to terms with the truth about herself, and keep to her vigil as the only way to save her people in the skies above. Meanwhile, Link chases after her and learns the truth about Skyloft, the Surface, and the fate to which they both are bound.
