Emily woke up in a bed with clean white sheets. She attempted to sit up but a strong pair of hands pushed her back down, "Lie back down, dear," said the woman with her hands on Emily's shoulders, "Poor dear, losing her mother like that. Must be horrible," she said walking off to talk to an elderly man with very long silvery hair and beard.

"Now, Poppy," he said, "Remember, she mustn't know what happened. That potion should have worked by now and we can't have her remembering the past. At least, not yet. She will know when she's ready."

A woman walked in the hospital-like room. Her lips were pursed and her hair was tied in a severe bun atop her head. "Albus, I have the classroom ready, " she said, and walked across the room closely followed by Poppy. Albus nodded and stared at Emily.

Emily noticed all of them besides Poppy were wearing beautiful robes; Albus had an emerald one on and the woman, a maroon. Emily wanted to touch the velvet, she didn't know why, but something urged her to.

"Where am I?" Emily asked, sitting up.

Albus sighed. He walked over to Emily's bed and sat beside her, "You," he began, " are at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. We brought you here because the place where you were at before, Emily, you were at great danger." He paused a minute to let these words sink in.

"Danger from what?" Emily said, puzzled.

Albus blinked, thinking over this question, then continued, "Danger from some people, er.wizards, that you wouldn't exactly want to mess with. That is all the information I will give out right now."

Emily's heart sank, she was really hoping he would tell her more.

"Professor McGonagall," he waived his hand at the woman with standing with Poppy, "has set up a classroom for you in which you will be learning the basics from years one to five." He paused, and when she didn't say anything except stare in disbelief, he tried to explain thoroughly, "I understand you learned everything at Durmstrang Institute of the Magical Arts before your. incident, so all we will do is refresh your memory for this next month. Then, you will go with a teacher to buy school supplies and a pet for your stay at Hogwarts for sixth and seventh years. Understood?"

Emily sighed, but nodded. "Why can't I go back to Durmstrang?" she asked.

"I had a feeling you were going to ask that," Albus chuckled, "well you see.here at Hogwarts you are safest." He stood up and beckoned Professor McGonagall to follow him. They shut the large double doors behind them and they could be heard walking away.

Emily wondered what he meant by that last sentence, but figured that just like the "danger", he was going to tell her about it later.
