Two months ago, a case involving the Molina cartel ended with a death of fellow NCIS agent and it's all Callen's fault. Now, the agent-in-charge is going through a rough patch. He's spiraling downhill and the team's afraid that he's going to get himself killed one of these days. Can a case involving an Afghan militant group and an old friend from Deek's past change everything?

Deeks has been undercover for six weeks. Kensi doesn't know how much longer she can stand being away from him.

Not that she is obsessing over numbers, but doing math in her head while she lies in bed at night is better than concentrating on all of the other thoughts racing through her mind. Like, that it's been 59 days since she saw his face. 1416 hours since she heard his voice. Future established Densi/Deeks long-term undercover.

A short drabble slightly inspired by the bullpen scene in "Forest for the Trees." Because Deeks' mouth is always going to get him into trouble. Future Densi.
