Hetty wants the team to take IQ and memory tests, herself included. The outcome isn't what some may have expected. Basically, Smart Deeks being Smart.

Deeks tries to keep his new undercover assignment a secret while Kensi struggles with realizing there might be another woman. Post "Gold Standard" and Pre "Lohkay" while Deeks was undercover seeing Monica. Written for NCISLA Magazine's "Decidedly Deeks" column.

You would picture it in your head, how the two of you would work as a couple - sneaking around for a few weeks and not telling anyone, only stealing kisses when you were alone, but also the fact you would get to touch and hold her when you wanted, and tell her how beautiful she was because she didn't hear it enough. In the dead of night, when she should be asleep, Kensi lies awake. She makes lists - about him, about them. She knows she should be sleeping. There are terrorists and killers to be caught again tomorrow. But nothing helps. A angsty, Kensi-centric Densi oneshot, showing Kensi struggling with the aftermath of Deeks' torture.

The case is over and the LA team flies home, leaving Deeks in DC to go through FLETC training. But are things ever that simple with our detective. This is going to be an ongoing drabble, short story series about Deeks time in DC.

Kensi's past is catching up with her. What's she hiding? What has she done in the past that's finally caught up with her that has the whole team involved?
