There was a reason Beckett insisted Castle always wear his bulletproof vest when they went out in the field even though he looked ridiculous wearing his custom vest emblazoned with "writer." Right now was that reason. Spoilers through Countdown.

Beckett loses a bet with Castle and he asks her to dinner. She just didn't realize what day he wanted to go out with her. I wanted to get some of the story posted before the end of Valentine's Day, more will be posted soon. Story is now complete!

The thought raced along with others, and it occurred to her that Martha may or may not be talking about the case.

My version of what all goes down in the frozen chamber scene in the episode "Countdown." Major spoilers. Castle and Beckett are slowly freezing to death. What will happen? Will they be rescued in time? No longer a one-shot!

"He had a split second of absolute fear that she was going to kill him for invading her personal space, but then he realized he was still on his side of the bed." Castle and Beckett have trouble getting warm, even after getting out of the freezer.

Near death experiences seemed to be happening a lot more often to both of them, but this time Castle was losing hope. This might be Castle's final wake-up call for him to realize what he truly needs in his life. Castle/Beckett, also includes Alexis.

Based off that *evil* cliffhanger at the end of "Setup" where Castle and Beckett are locked in the freezer. I couldn't wait till Monday, and this is the result. How I think the episode will continue. Or at least, how I wish it will. Very Caskett
