While living abroad in Rome, Kathy Stabler receives a phone call from Kathleen about something terrible that has happened to Olivia. She is left with the decision about whether or not to tell Elliot what is going on.

Elliot wants to talk after revealing that Kathy wrote the letter, but Olivia has had her fill of his talking. This is pure angst that will probably be resolved if you want me to keep writing :)
