Olivia has always taken pride in being strong, and handling whatever life throws at her. After her brutal attack and subsequent hostage situation with Lewis she and everyone around her fears she wouldn't be able to come back from it. Piece by piece, bit by bit, with the help of Amanda and her other colleagues Liv begins to overcome the impossible. This takes place after SVU 15x1.

After twenty-three years, two people have a lifetime of history together. For two particular detectives, history has been dictated by invisible lines drawn in the sand. . .until now. When Elliot and Olivia face the truth of who and what they are, they realize that the only way to get through it together is to fall.

I've been trying to write this since the finale, and I just didn't know how to end it. Then the promo came out, so here you go. I may write more chapters depending on how this actually plays out on screen.

Rated M for later chapters.

I’m going to take this from No Good Reason, season 19 episode 4. I am using the storyline so Olivia can meet a way younger yet 19 year old Amanda. This will eventually be a Rolivia. Using characters, but in a different way. Fin, Olivia, Dominick will be detectives as normal, but so will Alex.
