A double drabble for the Challenge 374: "Battle Scars" of the me and thee 100 comm on livejournal. Episode related.

I wrote this in response to a challenge. The challenge was to write a story about Rubik's cube. Starsky has a Rubik's cube. Can he and Hutch solve it?

A few years after retiring from the force Starsky and Hutch are interviewed for the local newspaper. Here they discuss what they have been up to since retirement, touching upon Starsky's shooting, and how their friendship has fared outside of the force.

In response to a challenge on S&H F&FF, and a sequel to the story "Sunburned Zebra", Starsky is given a new, popular toy as part of his physical therapy. Let battle commence!

It's hot in Bay City, again. The Torino is conking out, again. And Starsky and Hutch are starting to feel worn out.

Starsky and Hutch are working undercover in the public library (which is just as boring as it sounds) when Starsky meets a young lady with a familiar face.

Two detectives from two very different backgrounds join forces to catch a killer.

This is a crossover story. A strike in the city's juvenile justice department leads to Starsky and Hutch's involvement in a prisoner transport. As events unfold they have a first time encounter with another set of brothers.

The following is a series of vignettes. The show is great at starting the action or the dialogue at a fast and fresh pace, so what follows is a series of short stories that get straight to the good stuff. (First 10 stories, mistakenly set in LA. Apologies.) Some H/C, some Comedy, some Drama. Enjoy!

A Starsky and Hutch Christmas Story

An unreported prison break in one of California's highest security facilities comes to the attention of Starsky and Hutch, but their first day on the job nearly ends in disaster.

This story was previously part of the vignettes under the title "Good Endings" but has since turned into its own thing. Starsky and Hutch end up undercover as reenactors on either side of a battlefield where reality has taken a sharp turn.

One is hurt, and thinks he's alone, but he will soon realize that he's not. Story prompted by a 300 word S&H Facebook page writing challenge.

Starsky wants to fix things up, but Hutch isn't so keen.
