No, not a rehash of the episode. This story is what I had hoped for and expected when I saw the title of the episode. To the Guest who reviewed my previous story...I hope this is something along the lines of what you asked for. THIS STORY IS NOW COMPLETE.

Summary: It's Halloween night and Starsky bets Hutch that he will get scared if goes with him to a haunted house. Hutch takes the bet, but neither of them are prepared for what awaits them.

Hutch finally finds the woman of his dreams but his happiness is short lived when tragedy strikes, sending Hutch spiraling down into his own private Hell. Is the bond Starsky shares with his partner strong enough to pull him back up or will he lose his friend forever in the depths of his despair.

Starsky stops by Hutch's apartment to pick him up but Hutch isn't back from his jog. When he can't find his partner, he starts to piece everything together.

We know a lot about Starsky's family, but very little about Hutch's. This is my explanation as to why that is. Set between the last scene and tag of the 4th season episode "Black & Blue". Will be posted in 4 parts - just imagine '70's era commercials in between.
