This story is Black and Blue related. How does Starsky feel about what happened to his partner?

A young girl from Hutch's past is found dead in an alley and Hutch takes it pretty hard. When the guys delve into the mystery of the girl's death heartache and pain soon follow. This is my first story so any input is most appreciated. Many thanks to Sandy for giving me a shove in this direction.

Hutch wakes up from a nightmare in which he saw Starsky lying on a floor covered in blood. Was it a nightmare? Hutch soon realizes that his partner is missing.

This story came to me after listening to the song "Cripple Me" by Elenowen. It picks up right after Hutch saves Starsky from Simon Marcus in 'Bloodbath.'

"Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed... Go; let it be done for you as you have believed." And the servant was healed at that very moment. Matthew 8:5-13 His eyes were closed, and so was his partner's soul... Until a few words were spoken, a slender touch... that's all it took.

...The sound of twisting metal and groaning concrete above them caused them both to look up; fear evident in their glazed eyes at the sudden realization the unstable structure was once again about to cave in one them.
