While investigating the brutal murder of a fellow officer, Starsky begins to suspect a connection to his own father's murder over twenty years ago. This is a story that I wrote some time ago but part of it is being rewritten.

Starksy had a daughter with his girlfriend Annie Waters. She died in childbirth and Starksy hated his newborn girl for it, yet when she was passed to him, he managed to smile. Told from his and his daughter's point of view with an occasional opinion from. (*ON hiatus* I will not abandon this though. I want to focus on my other stories though)

Ghosts from his past comes back to haunt Starsky and little by little, things become worse as Hutch does whatever he can to not only protect his partner from what is trying to hurt him, but also from the men in Internal Affairs who have it out for him. Unfortunately, Starsky is kidnapped before Hutch can get to him and he must work with Huggy and Dobey to save his closest friend.

'...but she's only a dream.'

Set immediately after the show ends. Starsky is healing, but then...

"It's crazy." "Hutch, you're my best friend, I promise I'll believe you." "I saw that man at the dentist's office the other day. His name is Burkhart." "What do you mean you saw him?"

Starsky slowed the Torino to a halt on the opposite side of the cemetery, away from the cars of the mourners. He took in a deep breath and let it out slowly, his hands twisting on the steering wheel. (NOT a death fic)

Hutch decides to take a walk alone and finds new friends and old.

The officers in the squad room saw the two IA agents walk into the Captain's office. When the office door was closed, all eyes were staring at it. Everyone knew that the IA team was there to arrest Starsky. They could hear Hutch yell, "Captain, are you really going to allow this! You and I both know Starsky didn't do anything wrong!"

Hutch's new girl has a secret – a secret that puts him in danger. When he goes missing, it is up to Starsky to figure out whom, what and why. Cross-between 'Gillian' and 'The Fix' with some changes here and there. T for some cursing and themes.

Starsky is starting a business as a private eye. A tall blonde stranger answers his ad for an assistant. Who is this stranger and why does he remind Starksy of Hutch?

Now married & preparing for a family of her own, Ashley sends Starsky a letter for Father's Day. Part Six - and final installment - of my "Hero" series; takes place approx. 15 years after "To Be Anything Less" (#5).

Starsky needs to define something. He's searching for the word or the words and its not coming easily to him. Can Hutch help him this time? There's banter, lots of toe-work and an unexpected (or maybe not) solution to Starsky's existential problem. (Slash)
