Set almost a year after the completion of the series, Starsky and Hutch decide to fix up an old house, when they discover that one of their neighbours may be involved in a ring of thieves who intend to rob the Museum of Natural History. Infiltrating their organisation, the two detectives soon begin to uncover more sinister plans, the knowledge of which may cost them their lives.

"It's gonna be a total loss, Starsk." Hutch said as he put his hand on Starsky's shoulder and shook his head. The fact that he was losing his house was just beginning to sink in. "We're going to lose everything."

The boys have just been paired up as undercover Detectives. Starsky and Hutch hit the streets together for the first time and as the rhythm of their partnership develops, Hutch discovers that his new partner is not all that unknown to him. Follows the scene just after Starsky is gunned down in SR. We can all feel Hutch's pain as he sits beside Starsky and is just totally overwhelmed and somewhat "outside" of the reality of the scene. If you remember there is no blood on Hutch – his clothes or his hands. That being the case, is this what was happening for him?
